[Q] Can someone help me. I need to access the SD Card on my bricked HTC One X

Hello people, this is my first post and an urgent one at that.
Pretty much what has happened is I have one of the most recent Cyanogen Mod 10 ROMS for my HTC One X and while I was browsing the phone turned off. I tried to turn it on but it refused and I had to do the plug into computer and quickly switch to power supply trick to get it working, before I figured out who to do that I managed to get into the bootloader > CWM and reinstall the ROM. It crashed while installing that ROM causing the problem I believe I have now.
My problem is this:
I have a corrupt ROM and I can't get into my SD card to be able to reinstall it. I have no idea how I can access it, everytime I plug my usb into the pc it detects an unknown device and doesn't go further. I've played around with adb and that won't detect my device either, I need a way to get this working again. All I need is to mount my SD and then I can fix it myself.

Can you get into cwm ? If so connect your USB and go to manage storage I think that's what its called and select USB storage and from there does your computer detect it now ?

2 hours after the initial problem I've managed to fix it, I found a backup and restored. Thank god it worked.
*Note to self, keep more backups*

TCL P600 / Alcatel One Touch Snap 7025D Root and GAPPS

Root and GAPPS instruction for TCL P600
Since TCL P600, TCL P606 and Alcatel One Touch Snap 7025D are the same phones I just write about TCL P600 now. But it's working for both.

HowTo Root TCL P600:
- Extract the file
- Start the flash tool in extracted folder
- Make sure under options it is choosen “with battery”
- In FlashTool load scatter file contained in folder
- Click checkboxes of BOOTIMG and RECOVERY
- Doubleclick on BOOTIMG and refer to TCL-P600_130417__boot_patched_130508-162244.img
- Doubleclick on RECOVERY and refer to TCL-P600_130417__recovery_130508-162244.img
- Switch off mobile and unplug it from usb
- Click “download” in flash tool
- Plug in usb in phone
- If you get a green circle from flash tool saying OK you’re ready with root shell
- Unplug phone and reboot into CWM
- Start Droidtools and plugin usb to phone again
- Install superuser of your choice into phone.
- Ready – you have full root to phone.
If you experience any problems please check if you used the right drivers. Please check drivers attached in folders. Only use them.

Full instruction of getting a well working TCL P600:
1. First of all I updated the phone with TCL updater to the latest firmware.
2. I rooted it as I described before.
3. I deleted lots of China Apps and also under system/media bootup sounds and some - for me - other stuff not needed in order to get more space on system partition.
4. I installed GAPPS through CWM. I did it with this one: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
After rebooting I got crash of google search. I ignored it and added my google account. After opening playstore then I got update for google search. After updating there is no crashing anymore.
All other gapps are working quite well. I tested GPS for the TCL P600 and was really suprised it works quite fast and accurate.
The only thing: There is no A-GPS setting. Let's say: There is no GPS setting at all. You can only switch GPS on and off. Settings are not included. Maybe this will be unlocked with a modded rom.
I'm now testing all functions in detail but up to now it works really great.
Hope you got it also up to this point. After all steps this phone is really perfect.

Custom Recovery
Hey i want to know if this recovery can be ported to my phone the alcatel one touch fierce it is the same as th one touch snap/7025d just without the 8mp camera and splash water proofing everything else is the same i had tried the aoutomatic port for CRR recovery but when it flashed the recovery i got a security error on my alcatel that says "error 101 unaouthorized software installed "it would not boot upand was bricked i bought the same phone again and i am wondering how y'all ported it to the fierces sister phone the one touch snap .thanks and have a great day

I don't know about porting possibility. I guess there is no way. This thread is not about changing the ROM but just how to root the TCL. There is no custom ROM out actually. So I don't see chances to port. Why should this be necessary? Is the stock ROM having problems?

NO i just want to see if thos recovery could work in the case that ne2w rom development would occur and to create a backup for people who need it that is why i wanted to see if it could be ported

Solved the problems
Solved the problems.
I was able to upgrade wiht "TCL 2.7.4 Updater Setup.exe" the mobile software, I had the "TCL 2.7.9 Updater Setup.exe" version and this version told me it was updated. When I tested with 2.7.4 has recharged my sw and have gone back to the top, I rooted again with wiemerd instructions and now everything has worked correctly.
Thank you for your instructions and weimerd Sixpenny by spend "TCL S 2.7.4 Updater Setup.exe" saved me.

Thank you, i will try. I must install some other version of OS, official is fully bugged. After i used ROMs from xda for last 2 years, on my old phone, i forgot how bugged is official android.
There are so much crashes with official version, corupted SD card and so on...

please help me. after reflashing of my rom with flash tool. i have lost my imei and i have not done backup of my efs. my alcatel ot 7025d can't recognize any sim. i need efs backup or way to solve of my problem. i live in ivory coast there are not alcatel sav in this country.

I used kingo for root. Its really one click root tool. If your phone is rooted, you can restore to default. You can try to restore it with that tool.

I have huge problem with this phone. There is all the time problem with memory card. I am using kingston class 10, 16gb memory but from time to time, after i take some picture or use default gallery, i get message that my memory card is corrupted. I need to restart phone and everything is ok, but sometimes it require even 3-5-7 restarts and its really anoying. Cant take pictures, use ringtone from memory cartd etc.
I tried with official updater but still use 4.2.1 version. Anyone have any newer custom rom?
Sorry for off topic but i am sure that this problems can be solved with some newer OS.

Yes, buy new card I tried million things, formatted card using computer, phone, different phone etc. At the end, i bought new card and there is no problems at all. I give my card to my gf and she is using card without problem for last half year.

[HELP] Nokia XL

Hello everyone. So, I bought two Nokia XLs and tried to install different ROMs.
Now, both of them are pretty dead. The first one isn't even starting, just keeps showing the "Nokia" logo in the middle of the screen.
I tried to hard reset, it says something like system can't be mounted..
The other one, I installed this [ http://www.android.gs/update-nokia-x-with-cm11-android-4-4-2-custom-rom/ ], I know it says it's for Nokia X, but I said what the hell and proceeded, now, my phone, whenever shuts it display, can't open again unless I remove the battery and re-open it. WiFi and the back button aren't working..
So, both of them are "059V6S3 RM-1030 NDT IMEA QA"..
I wanted to get a stock ROM for both of them, but the Nokia Data Package Manager doesn't allow me to download it [ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2668005 ]..
Any sort of help would be highly appreciated..

thanks for the link. I downloaded it and copied it to my SDCard and then tried to install it using TWRP, it said "e:/system mounted fail".. I tried to install CWM on my phone but wasn't able to as it never proceeded from the Nokia logo..

Try to mount /system in TWRP and then try again.
Download and install bittorrent sync.
This is my secret for it. Add a folder in BTsync and insert this secret.

then try to flash via caresuite

Install android sdk and added the drivers from Nokia site (see http://developer.nokia.com/resources...ent-setup.html for details). Then manually update the drivers in device manager.

Did you know that the official update file of platform1.2 is something wrong happened??Many devices were stuck at stock recovery mode during installation process of official update.They had to copy the update file on sd card and update it manually through CWM/Stock recovery.
I suggest you to do Factory reset or Reflash the Rom..

Not everything went well .. I swapped my original memory .. I start the update, everything went correctly .. there is no problem on the phone while working ! it's just why it no longer recognizes the drivers installed before?

EDIT :
found to root without nokia x manager ^^ (it's good, i've new version 1.2.4.1 et plateform 1.2, with root and swap memory) .. so now drivers ... ^^

Im also having a similar problem. i wasn't able to root my device before the 1.2.4.1 update. now that im trying to, i cant install the USB DRIVER for the present update. framaroot does not seem to work too.. help me please

Thank you, I've downloaded the toolkit before and do i have the 1.20 version of this. i can't get anywhere without being able to install the usb driver for this.. i've downloaded usb drivers for Nokia X from a lot of links now. it worked before the 1.2.4.1 update when i was on 1.1.2.2. i've even seen other people having the same problem as i have..

Does not detect the phone on Windows 7 x64!
The app does not detect the phone on Windows 7 x64bit.
I also tried all possible usb drivers but all of them failed to detect the phone.
My phone: Nokie XL Dual Sim
Model: RM-1030
Software: 1.2.3.1
Product Code: 059V6P4
Platform Version: Nokia X software platform 1.2
Any suggestion????

I can verify that win7 x64 cannot work with any driver with Nokia X neither.
(tried the tool, the google generic adb, and the nokia provided)

"Waiting for device" takes to long
I already follow all the steps like:
1. enable USB debugging
2. install Nokia X manager
3. run Nokia X manager
4. I connect my Nokia X
but the "Waiting for device" takes to long to detect
what is the possible problem about this?

Nokia X manager is not detecting my Nokia xl
I have installed the Nokia X manager and I enabled USB debugging on my NOKIA XL but when I plug my phone using the data cable the Nokia X manager doesn't detect my device.
When I directly place files into my SDcard using my PC it is automatically detected and I can easily get access to my SDcard and internal memory of my phone without any problems....Please help me solve this problem I'd like to install and root my phone using the program but until this I really need to fix this out.
ps: my PC got windows 7 version.

I have Nokia x(Ver. 1.2.4.3) rooted with Nokia x manager. After rooting and installation of Gapps, many applications on my phone stopped working. Some of them started crashing while they are in use. Please tell me why this is happening? And How can I solve this problem?

TWRP goes blank
Hello, I have Nokia XL with TWRP Recovery
When I back up using TWRP, it goes blank
Anyone can help me to fix this?
I was scared to flash any custom rom because it may goes blank and may brick my phone

You should touch screen every 5 sec to prevent screen from turn off
