Has anybody had the HTC letters fall out of the back of their phone? The C just fell out of mine and now it has an odd feeling cavity there.

What letters? Some photos would be nice to see...
Edit: LOL I thought those letters were engraved into the back!! Now I'm afraid mine will start falling too...

All three of mine are goneish. Any type or moisture them over time seems to do the job.
Hmm OK. Was just wondering if it was just me.

Same. I plan on finding some self leveling paint and filling them back in.
Mine started falling off, went ahead and took them out carefully. Then put a small amount of super glue in the spaces and reapplied them, good as new

Build Quality Concerns There was a discussion about it in there as well. There is already a thread for build quality concerns as linked.
It seems those letters coming off are actually quite frequent though
Yeah mines were coming off when I had the phone, took it to the store for a replacement

Like the post says my sticker is wearing off...guess its from trying to keep my fingerprint magnet clean. Is it important? Do I need to copy the numbers down before they totally wear off? Has anyone peeled theirs off?

I took mine off. It was almost off anyway.

what i did was just take it off and stick it to the box my lgog came in, which is a bit redundant because the box already has the number on it lol

It is written on the box already.
If you really need it you can get out in the telephone settings.

There's no need to keep it on. There are multiple ways to get the number through the software should it ever be needed for any reason. It is even located underneath the back housing, in case of complete device failure.
Thanks peeled what was left of it off...too bad the LG logo on the front doesn't come off that easy.

It isn't illegal to remove like a mattress label.

It's not illegal to remove a mattress tag once you own it. You just can't sell it. It's there for original sellers.

I revived my replacement and I just saw the dust speck under my glass screen and was appalled and utterly depressed... Any way to getting rid of it instead of asking for a new one

Call and complain. They'll likely replace it.

Looks like repaired phone. Brand new factor phone has glass glued to screen with no air between them.

Just curious, now that this phone is on all the big 4, with BIG RED finally jumping on board, so you think a few more cars will come out now?

I have had simular problem with the screen but all it was was a messed
up screen protector.
Good luck!
That's what I thought at first but I took off protector and it was the screen. I sure hope they replace it.

Looks to me that the glue that holds the glass melted... how hot does your phone run?

That's odd. That is definitely the glue that holds the glass to the panel. I'd exchange it under warranty if it's still applicable.
I damaged my back cover whilst fixing my GPS. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement.

This company had the white backs a couple weeks ago.. You could email or call them and see if they have any back in stock or coming in.

Damn difficult to remove the 1st time due to the glue but fairly easy after that.
