Like the post says my sticker is wearing off...guess its from trying to keep my fingerprint magnet clean. Is it important? Do I need to copy the numbers down before they totally wear off? Has anyone peeled theirs off?

I took mine off. It was almost off anyway.

what i did was just take it off and stick it to the box my lgog came in, which is a bit redundant because the box already has the number on it lol

It is written on the box already.
If you really need it you can get out in the telephone settings.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
There's no need to keep it on. There are multiple ways to get the number through the software should it ever be needed for any reason. It is even located underneath the back housing, in case of complete device failure.
Thanks peeled what was left of it off...too bad the LG logo on the front doesn't come off that easy.

It isn't illegal to remove like a mattress label.

It's not illegal to remove a mattress tag once you own it. You just can't sell it. It's there for original sellers.

Oh man, no way. You got a sticker?? I'm so jealous.
Removed it as soon as I got the phone, though I'll admit that I probably would've kept it on for a lot longer if it was an Exynos sticker since it sounds so much cooler

Vote vote vote
We are in 3rd we can get to 1st if people vote even if you don't care about the case vote to show we can beat the htc one X
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
Voted but I doubt we can beat the One X, also how do we know which OG there are talking about? AT&T is a different design than the others.
They will pick from the top 3 devices, so even if we ended up as #1, there's still a good chance they won't make the case for us.
by the way, we are currently 2nd.
10% off 1st Place. And which phone has been sold more the ATT version or the Sprint one?
Done and done.
VOTE LGOG!

Not for nothing but what's so great about an XDA case? Is it going to be anything near the quality of the Otterbox? Or is it going to be your typical eBay TPU case?

I think it's going to be pretty similar to the latter, but it's about finally getting some love for the LGOG and showing support to xda. So just a win, win.
Anybody knows? On the original back door cover there's these two lil metal dots that look like they connect to the phone when you snap it on. I want to get one of those flip cases but not through Samsung since they charge so much. The third party covers are built the same but are missing the two metal dots.

Yes, the NFC chip is in the back cover, so you would need to buy a cover that has NFC.

I hear ya, and all I kept saying before I left was get a case incase I dropped it and I didn't, lesson learned. I'm just gonna order the screen off amazon and replace it when I get home. I attached a pic, it could have been worse but it is annoying, I've only had the phone for a week and a half.

I found the tablet came with a bubble filled transparent screen guard. . And there is an 'r' in the registration number. . Does that mean it's refurbished?

Sure it is, your new Note should not at the first place come with a screen guard, that`s an accessory you could get it later on.
So yes yours is a refurbished unit.:crying:
Could you be more specific? And uhmm . . Leave out the sarcasms?

There is no sarcasm in my reply to your post, just clearly stating that normally NEW units doesn`t come with a screen guard or a screen protector, so if yours came with one of these , then for sure it is a USED or REFURBISHED one.
How can I prove it's refurbished?? Cause I took off that shabby screen guard and put a new one immediately. So lost that claim right away

Seems that you purchased this online, if so re-check with them if they clearly mentioned on site being used or refurbished.
Don`t know about the returning policy.
I purchased it from a nearby retail shop. . Any ideas on how I can make my claim
