Custom ROM issues - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have an AT&T Galaxy S3 with Android 4.4.2. I used Towelroot to root my phone and it worked really well. My only concern is about which ROMs to use. It looks like most ROMs for the S3 are for android 4.3 and not what I have. Since I used a root technique for an S4 does that mean I should use ROMs from the Galaxy S4 4.4.2 or try and find ROMs for the S3 4.4.2?
Any information would be great. I do not want to brick my phone!

Do you have a custom recovery on your phone? You can flash any custom ROM as long as the ROM is compatible with your bootloader, modem, and does not alter your existing bootloader. You can only use ROMs that are designed for the d2lte.

[Q] Installing manufacturer stock rom on AT&T S3

Hi, I rooted my GS3 and it works fine, but I wouldn't mind having the default UI with it, as it's a bit better designed for the device than CyanogenMod 10 is.
The thing is, I'm not a AT&T user, can I install the original manufacturer version of the stock rom onto my S3?
Also, could someone provide a link for a download?
I assume you mean you rooted and flashed a custom ROM?
All stock firmware is available at sammobile.com

[Q] 4.2.2 vs 4.4.2

Simply who its the best for all day use phone???
I tried some Rom's (Omni, CM11, CM10 not signal (Claro PR), Ressurection, Carbon (Great), and for myself the best 4.4.2 ProBam, But i think go back to stock 4.2.2 with SU...
What do you think????
It's up to your preferences really...
Personally I can't stand the bloated TW, so there's no going back to stock firmware... unless I'm really forced to use dual SIM.
my device is i9080L only one slotand i dont know because that the cmod 10.1 4.2.2 rom not work for me
AOSP ROMs here are for i9082/i9082L only.... If CM doesn't work for you better to stay stock and root and debloat it then ?
prefer kitkat only because ts latest and developers are working so hard for it
Hello Guys,
Previously I was rooted my galaxy grand & used Cm11 rom. But I really need to use the dual sim therefore I move back to stock firmware. But really I was satisfied with custom rom expect dual sim.
If developer add the dual sim functionality in Cm11 then I will definitely come back to custom rom.

[Q] Custom ROMs

I am currently on stock unrooted 4.3 Canadian I747M (rooting it later on) and was wondering if I could flash any custom roms for e.g. PA, CM or Quantum? After rooting it of course. And if I could, I've read that having different bootloaders will brick the device so is there anything i'd have to do before flashing those roms?
Thank you.
Being on stock 4.3 you should be good to install any of the latest custom ROMs, as they all work on 4.3 bootloader/modem

NO. You must stay within the roms for your device. Flashing anything else is highly likely to give you a brick.
You have already started out on the wrong foot; these forums are for the Sprint S3, not the AT&T variant. Look for your device forum and you can flash any rom listed, regardless of whether the rom is 4.3 or 4.4.2 based

[Q] AT&T Kit Kat on T889

I read somewhere that i can flash AT&T Note II Kit Kat ROM to my T889. Is this possible? I would love to have a stock Kit Kat ROM. Firstly I know the modem will probably need to be flashed...big whoop. But the kernel will be different right? Im a bit new to how the firmwares are designed. I am comfortable flashing different versions. I currently have JediMaster X2 i believe, EZKat which isnt great but not bad, and I have the stock rom from Tmobile 4.3 which is rooted but the root wont stay after a reboot sometimes, have to fix root to get it back but that doesnt always work.
Give this a try:
