auto BT headphone pairing?

Anyone know of a way to get a bluetooth headphone paired up and ready to listen with a single click? Currently I have to activate BT via Comm manager, then enter BT settings, select the headphones and "Set as wireless stereo" all before I actually start any music playing. Ideally it would be good to be able to chain those commands into a macro which also launched the music player - kind a music mode button.
Maybe this is a feature of later roms? I'm currently still using Black 2.5, waiting for compelling reasons to move on.

You can write a script but you must have MortScript installed (available here http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?module=page&entry=ms_overview&action=view)
Basically you can get it to check the registry and if the Headphone profile has been detected (i.e. when you switch on your headphones), a series of keystokes can then set the 'wireless setreo' mode by opening the Bluetoock devieces screen ect, then your favorites music player can be launched.
You can also get it to close your music player when you switch off your headphones by checking the registry fir when headset profile is disabled.
Downsides are that Bluetooth must already be actived on the handset (so 2click solution ) before headphones are switched on. Also, the keystrokes will fail to start wireless stereo if you add/remove bluetooth devices because the relative positions of the listed devices will change...
Here is an example that works on my device - may need changes for yours;

Thanks for that. Do you find it's stable - I used to do similar things with the old Windows 3 macro recorder, but it often used to screw up when a window didn't open in time. It would be nice if there was a program to do it, I imagine one day the music app will do a quick poll to see if a device is available.

Yes its stable -I have it run on startup so it constantly running in the background. There maybe some battery usage whilst it is doing this.
I heard some BT stereo headphones automatically connect properly once you update to the latest drivers for the headphones.

I dont understand. Why do you need to constantly re-pair your headset?
With mine (iclip r35) it was only a 5 click job anyway.
1 click on Comm Mgr
2 Click on BT
1 Click switch on Headset
2 Click pair headset
3 click play music button on headset.
Takes less time to do than it does to write it!
That was with Black 2.5 too. only one problem I noticed was that B2.5 absolutely having the h/s powered off before activating bt via com mgr.
Black Majik is the same but seems slight better range and quality than B2.5

I don't have to re-pair. I have to:
1. click on CommMgr
2. click on BT
3. turn on phones
4. Settings, Bluetooth to bring up the BT settings window
5. click-hold on Bluephone entry under paired devices
6. select "Set as wireless audio" - phones are now active and linked
7. close BT dialog
8. close CommMgr
9. start music software
Your setup seems less fiddly, somehow your headphones are doing some of the work.

Auto BT Pairing
Have your enabled the (Make this device visible to other devices?) Under Start/Settings/Connections/Bluetooth then select Mode. If that doesn't work there might be another fix if you check out:

Okay, I am trying to figure out how i can use my mono bluetooth device (jawbone), to be able to playback audio- not from a phone call.
I'm not using it for music (which would sound horrible anyway), I listen to a lot of podcasts from espn, and would like to be able to listen to it w/o plugging the stereo headphones in, so it isn't so obvious...
Oops, forgot, phone is a kaiser.
I tried switching the joint stereo connector value to 0, and re-pairing the jawbone, but it didn't work. any ideas on how to do it???????

There was a program called Bluetooth Audio Router, but it was for samartphones, anyway try it out.

never mind , I found a program called bluetooth audio by blade2032 that solved my problem .thank you .

A2dp Bluetooth configuration

Hi all,
I've been trying & error to get the best combination/configuration of bitpool for my I-tech Clip Radio bluetooth. What is the best:
1. bitpool?
2. Min/max support bitpool?
3. Sample rate?
Please do help me since i the audio keep on pausing for every second & sometime no sound. believe there is a best configuration for it. for those who have the solution do help me. Thank you.

I uses Tomal's 8.2 ROM with 1.15 Radio and the standard settings
bitpool=30, UseJointStereo=1,SampleRate=48000
with a Itech Radio headset. This works perfectly for both a2dp mode and handsfree.

bluetooth connection issue on t-mobile g2

im having issue with bluetooth connection, its unable or autoresume to stream music after receiving /calling on t-mobile g2, i have jabra stone, is anybody who can help me regarding this issue? I can see the numbers moving in the music player, but no audio comes out until I turn off then turn on. Has anyone else had this problem; and if so what did you do to fix it? i tried jabrra stone bluetooth to other phone such as iphone 3g and treo and they work well they resume automatically to stream music after a call/receive. pls help

I am having the exact same issue. I spoke with HTC tech support and this is a known issue on the G-2. I was told there would be a resolution soon and that they would contact me as soon as a fix was available. I'll post back here as soon as I know more. Shutting off the headset and turning it back on again is a temporary workaround.

I just tried mine few hours ago using MOTOROKR T505 streaming music then called my phone after i hang up it resumes the music I'm using ENON/pershoot idk maybe jst the ROM or the MOTO bluetooth.. hope it helps

I just got a call on my Moto T505 while listening to my G2 player. I noticed two things: 1) even though I was connected via bluetooth to the T505, I heard not only the T505 ring but I also heard my G2 ringtone on the phone itself and, 2) once my call was over, my music did not resume as it should.
My first observation is not that big of deal, I can get used to it. The second issue is concerning especially with the workaround. While driving, I really don't think other drivers want me to fiddling with either the T505 or my phone to get my music back;-)
I hope we can get a fix soon.

Same problem here, G2 Stock, and Moto S9-HD.
I _think_ I had a similar issue with my Blue Ant Q1, lost speech from navigation after taking a call.

i use MOTOROKR T505 it works fine, it resumes music after phone call but i dunno how this bluetooth gadget works cause when i first receive a phone call my phone speaker are ringing then after a while the voice talks over the T505, is that really how it works??

My only experience is with a Sprint Touch Pro 2 with the T505. That pairing was absolutely awesome. When I got a call, the phone did not ring, only the T505. When the call ended, the music playback would resume.
The G2 is a little different. The phone will ring when a call comes in and the music will not resume after a call. The other day while listening to music in my car via the T505, I got a call and the music stopped briefly, I was able to hear my caller ont the T505 but, the music then resumed onthe phone during my phone conversation. How wierd is that?

I have a G2 running Cyanogenmod 6.1.1 and Pershoot's kerner (...28 - the latest one), paired with a T505, and I have no issues with calls.
I have been having issues with music controls though....I used to be able to control whatever was playing via the T505 controls, but now is only controlling the main (dafault) music app, which in my case is Double Twist.
I was wondering if anyone was having anything like this? I can't remember when I upgraded to Pershoots latest kernel, but I think it coincides with the lack of control. I think on 27 I could control all apps....

I have the same problem, I'm using a motorola finiti, but I've tried others and I get the same result. Usually disconnecting the bluetooth and reconnecting helps, but sometimes I have to restart. Another thing I noticed is that when I press the voice dialing button on the blutetooth, the voice dialer on the phone says "starting up" and then quickly says fails and disappears. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Im running the stock unrooted android, but I'm willing to root if it'll help (or maybe flash a new firmware, but I'm kinda scared to)

I've set up a workaround using a tasker profile. Basically, I used an auto-answer profile I found in the samples. I added an exit task that turns the bluetooth off then on again. Works great. I use the moto rokr headset when snowboarding. Thanks to tasker, two problems are solved. I don't have to do anything to answer the phone, and after the call, my music resumes.

you mind sharing the steps how u did i just got a voyager pro + and having same issues 499 for the phone 99 for headset and can not get it to work the way it should is a little anoying

no bug in cm6.1.1 stable, i called htc, they said that he will write an email an forward it to android since its their problem and can not promise a fix, i told him i dont care any more running custom rom and no problems he got kind of quiet for a second lol

JABRA BT3030 + SGS2 = good volume solution

After many searches i think it gives most expective result.
1) First of all there is no need to expose expensive device to public view ex. thieves in sunset street
2) i said no needless wires
3) of course headphones included in the jabra set is not worth writing at all but with Nuforce E700X sounds really clear and bass deeply.
At the end i made some changes in system/etc/asound.conf. Thera are hifi, voice and bt values set to accordingly : 44100, 8000, 8000. Ive changed with text editor bt values to 22050 and it really works for me.
Sound is acceptably good, clear high responses and deep bass without volume +, dsp manager or equalizer apps at all and louder volume at the start. Jabra BT3030 has implemented dsp as well.
I hope it could help some people here.
