What about rom CM9 rc2 and what's problem in this rom and what different CM10 rc1 ?

For me CM9 RC2 is best under all circumstates. No problems at all with it and with my personal undervolting kernel I only have to recharge it every few days. A ROM doesn´t have to be bad just because its older. The differences in CM10 are just a few nice animations and a few more options supported I don´t really need.
But this is just my personal opinion, so like already said try them and decide yourself which one is best for you.
If you want to have best support for games, go with CM10 but if stability is more important for you, use CM9 and if battery is important too, use CM9 RC2 or RC3 or any custom ROM basing on these two.

Why you dont try touchwi5 rom by ipromeh.
I am quite comfortable with the performance and battery life of this rom.

After flashing CWM Recovery launch it and make a backup of your orginal rom. After doing this flash the rom you want to try. This way you always can roll back to your orginal samsung rom.

Sometimes, first boot will take long time. But you can try to Full Wipe(data, cache, dalvik) your phone again via CWM, then reboot.
If doesnt work, try to fixing permission via cwm. I dont know what is that for, but it doesnt hurt to try.

Usually no need to do a full whipe because you are just replacing the stock recovery with CWM recovery. The rom itself says untouched and should reboot normally. But if it´s hanging after flashing CWM, turn off your phone and restart by launching the recovery with the button combination to see CWM was succesfully flashed or not. When it boots into CWM restart it again and see if its still hanging. Should it still hang, go again to CWM recovery, whipe cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions and reboot.

One of a kind was so good at all, But the appearance is not so attractive. So I used touchwi5 build 3 for S4 fells.
I think not much differences between OOAK, Touchwi3 and Touchwi5. Because they developed by same developer.
The conclusion is, try OOAK for performance if you don't really care about the appearance. :thumbup:

the link i gave to you was TOUCHWIZ based ROMs Stock/Custom so that you can still use the features of S-pen. On the other hand, those AOKP/AOSP roms was based on CYANOGENMOD no s-pen features. Different world yet you can many custom kernels can flash rather than tw based..

DITTO from ELECTRON TEAM is one of the CUSTOM ROMs has Note 3 features on it and it is a great project made by E-Team. There are other 4.3 CUSTOM Roms that you can port 4.3 note 3 features. Just research on it sir. Try to go to this link:

this is not my first time to flash. I was used omega,criskelo and CM 10.1.3
today I try to hurricane v5 and dn3 from electron team flash is successfully but after I setup a phone use restart the phone is stops is not loaded its just in white " samsung galaxi n7100 " I was waiting 20min but nothing change. so I use twrp to try again but now is need password but I don't have any.
this happened on both ROMs
do anyone now what happen and help me please?

Do you know how to flash another recovery? I never used twrp before so i don't have idea about the password came out in the recovery if the white logo stucks it is considered soft bricked but dont panic you need to reflash your twrp. If not reflash another custom recovery like Philz recovery 5.15.0 then if not pull out battery for 30 seconds then try to flash twrp again. If the password exists report back. Hope it work.

Before rushing to do anything, please research alot especially how to backup your EFS, otherwise you may end up with a wireless phablet without a phone. Worse you could end up with a brick

ya i know actually i flashed few stock roms using odin previously but never custom roms using those cwm or those stuff just rom n odin that did the job for me but am eager to get those air command so what reading forum of dr ketan and sunnys guide also after completely reading ill move forward

Thanks I think same a TWRP is a problem
because I wipe and doing factory reset and flash backup cm10.1.3 and now every think work and not password on TWRP. I try update and tell you if work.

bro a quick question lil help will be appereciated i know am being a fool here but
ditto rom is touchwiz based right coz i read dr ketan n sunny both talked about 2 different ones one touchwiz based other non touchwiz based
so since ditto rom briings note 3 stuff to note 2 that means its touchwiz based right??

I have only used Dr. Ketan's ROM, and it's Touchwiz based meaning S-pen support . I can't comment on the rest.

hello..thats called a soft brick...try to use another cwrp like philz recovery..and flash the rom using that..or you could flash the rom using the old fashioned way..ODIN..u know right?f

yes...ditto use touchwiz from what i read on their thread..personally i never use ditto before ,just dr ketan and tigra rom.they both are touchwiz based too..hurricane is a touchwiz too..read carefully at their thread..each rom has its own specialty...personally i liked dr ketan cuz it has many tweaks and mod..anyway....happy flashing....

Firstly...There are many issues when porting a camera from a 2013 device to a 2012 device because of a lot of incompatibilities. ..so you need to have patience... Secondly. ..If you read the forums...you'll see that there is a dedicated team that is porting note 3 apps ..and they say that they are in the process of porting the camera... They have already ported air command...and even the rom you are using....those guys have put in a lot of effort to build more stable roms with as many features as they can.... If they release the camera with bugs...many people will complain...and these guys do it for free...so you need to wait...
also...who flashes a s3 compatible zip file on a note 2? You could easily damage the device.... retry flashing your rom and everything should go back to normal

With DN3 v3 you don't go wrong.

You are good to go for the rom as long as you follow the flashing method properly by the authors.
Have fun.

Did you do a full wipe? According to the comments on the users in Dr Ketan's thread installing the ROM without doing a full wipe has shown to cause problems, Also there is a fix for the sCloud FC problem. Please see post #3 in Dr Ketan's thread.

DN3 v3 same rule.
No fc.
No reboots.
Rock solid.
Everyday usage.
Only a small issue: Touchwiz crashes and freezes Note2 if Google Earth is launched in a window thru Multiwindow bar and then closed.

I agree that DN3 is very good but some times it will be very slow to open screens like contacts , gallery , back button and when incoming call it will too too too slow to show the calling number.

Hello! I using DN3 firmware and it very good, but I want use SecLauncher2.apk instead SecLauncher4.apk. Is it really? It's allright with DN3 v.3.1! I'm have new question. When I turn on Poweramp with MusicFx, sound is very loudy and dirty. What I may do with it?

I'm on DN3 v3 and smart scroll working nice but Smart pause not working...

try @dr.ketan ROM. I did the same as you did and right now i am using this ROM as my daily driver. JUST wipe cache, dalvik, system, everything before flashing. I tried DN3 and it gives a lot of force close messages. In functionality both are approximately same.
Let me know if you find it good enough or you run into some issues.

For smart pause to work on stock player you have to be in a well lit environment or try it during day time. :good:

What is a stable I9195 rom? CM is too buggy

I have tried a few roms now, CM10, CM11, CM12, Team UB or something. The magnetic sensor just goes either haywire in circles or is frozen in place and never moves on any app. I just want a nice smooth feeling, good performing, stable rom for my S4 mini LTE I-9195
I would appreciate your recommendations.

Helllo dev... I try it today and no luck stuck on black screen... Soo how i can fix it?

Learn to read i wrote chromecast.. No samsung tv or allshare cast

A bit off topic though. I am looking for smooth, perfectly functional roms for my S4 mini LTE. I really want to experience a custom rom experience, but one where everything works as it should (or better).

Just try it its the best...

Also, when a rom says you should flash a stick 4.4.2 and then do a full wipe and install their rom, why does it need a stock 4.4.2 if it's wiped in the very next step?

Because the recovery its diferent stock recovery from a custom recovery... And you need a full wipe for a clean rom (stock recovery) then a custom recovery and a new rom

But if you already have cyanogen or something, you already have a custom recovery. So why install a fresh 4.4.2 and then wipe and install a custom recovery? Maybe I am missing something.

Im using stock 4.4.2 with xposed. Works great but starting to get bored of it now. Only reason I havent switched again is because I like the fact that stock has no bugs. Small bugs like misspelled words etc irritate me in custom roms

Try the carbon rom, it's amazing...

I went through all the folders for S4 mini LTE and it was empty.

After several experiences with CM 12 and CM 12 based, I got stability, great battery life. So far I can say bug free in RR 2.3.8. But I'm convinced that it is a particular case.
I do not use more GAPPS. I think that helped. But not only that.
Inexplicably in my experience only could stability following a certain script for installation. Out of it the results were always unpredictable.
Bur I think CM 12 and CM 12 based are very close to stability. Soon it will occur.

If it is not on the official page, as far as I am concerned it does not exist. I'm not about to go installing roms I get from people on G+. I am giving CM10.2 another try. Sometimes I boot up and the compass works. Most times it does not. But if I have to put up with not having directional awareness when nagivating so that I end up with (hopefully) a more secure, better on battery life phone then I will give it a try.
