I am not responsible for any damage that may be caused before, during or after the flash. It’s entirely at your own risk.
Thanks first of all to Shokka9 for all the help during cooking and for a flawless M2D package. Also to Blazingwolf for NeoTitanium which is how titanium should have looked.
Big thanks to Bga7x for all the help with sys + FloTanium.
Startup animation courtesy of Airreak (Thanks!!)
SYS/XIP 23053. It’s got both NeoTitanium and M2D cooked in along with a lot of default Samsung program + all the usual additions. Additionally it benefits from TFDetacher which means you can switch between Titanium and Manilla instantly and XDA_UC... More about this later.. It's alot going on at first startup, so please be patient, once set up it runs like lightning.
To change ringtone, navigate to the file with file explorer and tap and hold, select set as ringtone in the popup menu. There is also a problem with most themes, but the WM7 theme attached is working according to Waikiki.. Also there's a taskmanager attached which Close programs with the x-button (ported to omnia thanks to Blazingwolf!!)
If you are having connection problems, try changing to a differenet provider to you, wait 30 sec, then change back to your own.. Then your sms/mms/internet settings will be automatically configured. Also go settings\connnecttions\browser connections and tick Automatically detect settings..
Changes in 23053:
- Top bar works in M2D
- Icons are full size again in M2D Favourites tab
- Kept some WM6.5 widgets
- Added Notepad (thanks Bgill55)
- Removed Office.Works better when installed as cab in my storage + you get the file associations tongue.gif . Just drop into XDA_UC\SD
- Added Midomi (thanks to Sector)

XDA_UC (Automatically install all your apps/reg tweaks etc)
That’s it I think. Seems a lot but I’ve done a lot of work on the sys and it’s still a very fast ROM (Freed up space in right places).
Before flashing this rom:
Make sure you have a XDA_UC folder created on the storage card with a SD folder inside it. Drop in here the apps you want be installed automatically. I recommend you put Touchresponse in here and the Registry tweak cab attached (saves a lot of typing).
After flash:
When you get to the first “tap screen to setup device”, wait for it to restart automatically (around 15-30sec). You might get errors at first startup (mainly ATplugin errors). If you do, hard reset. I get these errors once every 10 flashes, dunno why but a hard reset solves it. It's a lot going on / being installed just after flash, especially all the titanium plugins. You WILL get a TFDetacher /Manilla error, just ignore this.
TFDetacher instructions:
1. After Flash there is no need to enable Touchflo(but you will get an error message, just ignore it). scroll to TFDetacher folder, then TFDConfig. It will open up tab over to config on the bottom.
2. the first thing you will do now in the config screen is change the TouchFlo Mode. It must say "TouchFlo 2D" k that part is done.
3. Now uncheck "launch TouchFlo on start up". Check "After Launch, Hide then Show"
4. press the "change Today Left Soft Key" hit the "quick Assignments..." Arrow and press "show TouchFlo" the Text should now read TouchFlo
5. Go back to your today screen and your left soft key should now say TouchFlo you can hit that to luanch TouchFlo.
6. Go back into config and do the same for the the TouchFlo Left soft key you will want to change it to "hide TouchFlo" the text should say "today". Exit.
Thats it!! You can now change between TouchFlo and titanium at the touch of a button!!
You will get a TFDetacher error at startup, saying that manilla.exe has not been found. Ignore this and follow instructions to setup..
Thanks to Ozra, you can now do the reg-entries with a simple cab (attached).. Just drop into XDA_UC folder and it happens automatically on installation.
If you go in to map the right soft-key in M2DC the left sometimes revert back to contacts. Just go back to TFDConfig and change the right soft-key back to Today.
XDA UC (auto installation of progs/reg entries etc. etc.)
Included in this ROM is XDA UC, which is a brilliant way of installing all your usual cabs after a flash using mort script. The process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention (unless you want to install onto My storage/ Storage card). It will commence a few seconds after starting up and MUST NOT BE INTERRUPTED.Readmore about it HERE.
This is how to do it:
1. Create a XDA_UC folder on the root of your storage card. In this folder, copy all the cabs you want to have installed onto the main memory.
2. In the XDA_UC folder, create a folder called SD. In this folder, place all the cabs that want to install onto Storage card/ My Storage. You will have get the option where to install them. Please note, if you install a cab that needs restarting after install (e.g Office), DO NOT restart, wait til everything’s installed and then restart manually (You will get a message when it’s all done) That’s it!! Please read the original thread over at xda-developers as it explain this in a lot more detail. You can also restore registry tweaks, themes etc. Etc.

thanks man, works very nice..
ok, i'm a complete beginner, so i have to ask: does this mean that my wm 6.1 will be updated to 6.5?
Hi guys. I am running stock ATT Tilt 2.
From the files in the Windows\StartUp folder
HTCStartUp - What does this program do? Important
MessageCSPTool - Does? Important?
PKG - Does? Important
poutlook - I assume it just loads the mail in the background so it loads and responds faster.
Question though,
On StartUp it runs NewBreak.exe, I want to dump that. How?
Also, it is running two programs for mail, one called "tmail.exe" and the other is the "poutlook.exe". Do I need both? What does tmail.exe do?
I'd also like to know what I can remove from startup. I have Tmous, and do not use Outlook to sync, I also do not use push email. I would like to remove anything that is not ABSOLUTELY necessary from startup. Some programs may have installed in startup, and I am perfectly happy just starting them manually when I need them, rather than having them start every time.
poutlook.ink
bttrayce.ink
delwmptempfolder.ink
htcstartup.ink
syncmanager.ink
instant forward.ink
pkg.ink
rungnangent.exe
ysrem.exe
Thank you in advance for your insight to this matter.
Try to move the files...
Try to move (cut / paste) one of the files in the startup folder ONE AT A TIME!! to a temporary folder (any place will do other than where it is now)
(these files are "links" or "'Shortcuts" to the real files in /Windows directory)
Make sure you have all your data backed up to a flash card or SD micro flash card or try the Microsoft "MyPhone" service... After all.. it's free. so if you end up with a phone that wont start up normally you can do a hard reset and the phone will revert back to factory clean install or what ever ROM you flashed into it. Then you can recover your stuff off of the MicroSD card or the MyPhone service.
1 make a new folder in the /windows/startup folder e.g. "temp" or "test"
2 tap and hold one of the files e.g. 'poutlook' - hold it untill you get the blue dots and then a menu.
3. select the "CUT" option from the menu
4. tap on the new folder you created to navigate into it, and then tap and hold untill you get the menu again, and then select "Paste"
5. do a soft reset and see what happens. Play around and see what is working and what is not working.
6. If nothing bad happens try another file until either you get the result you want OR all the files a gone, OR badness happens.
Most of these programs just run in the background and start services like bluetooth or Pocket Outlook so that they will start faster when you select them.
I removed Myfaves from the startup folder on my wing and it stopped My Faves from starting and gave me about 6MB of program memory back.
I never tried the others.
I just got my Touch Pro 2 so i'd be curious to see how you make out.
Good luck!
I've had Froyo on my Epic since its been out and so far I've liked the ACS build the most. Now I can't figure out how to get the sd card to mount to the computer without using some sort of app (if it wants to work). Am i missing something when it comes to mounting the sd card or is it normal? Any help would be appreciated.
First, make sure you turn debugging on, then pull down the notification bar to enable mounting... thats what I had to do to get mine to work. (Debugging = Menu Key->Settings->Applications->Development->USB Debugging)
If that still doesnt work, you may have to create a shortcut to get into the USB Settings through the Activities button that is added in your Shortcuts when you install LauncherPro (can use any Launcher, just need it installed)... Long press on your screen like your going to add a widget, select 'Shortcuts->Activities->Settings->USB Settings', then use that shortcut to choose between Charging, Mass Storage, and Ask on connection.

Im running the latest stable version of CM with Amon Ra recovery. It runs great except for these three problems.
1. I use the Zeam Home Launcher and every time I reboot the system resets it back to the default launcher. I press home and choose Zeam launcher, but none of my widgets load.
2. Is there a way to keep Wifi on even when the screen is turned off. I know this was a setting on MIUI, however I cant find a setting for CM7. I would like it to stay on all the time.
3. I have the latest version of the Market. When I search for an app it displays the total number of matches found in the top right corner. However, when I scroll down the list it ends after about 20-30 apps even though there its showing hundreds of matches. I then do the same search online, see all the available apps, and know for certain that they are compatible and can install them from online.
I have done a factory reset twice and reinstalled everything, including ROM and Recovery.
Thanks for reading and any help you might be able to provide.

1. When you choose the zeam launcher, make sure you check the box that says 'set as default' set your widgets. They should stick now.
2. Settings > Wireless settings > Wifi Settings > Press Menu > Advanced > Wifi sleep policy: set to never
3. If you keep manually scrolling the rest of the results should show up.
One Down....
1. Zeam launcher has been set to default launcher every time. Tried again with no success.
2. FIXED. Thanks. Why in the world would they make you press "Menu" inside of a menu window ? Seems weird to me.
3. Scrolling changes nothing. How would you NOT scroll manually anyways ? Not trying to be rude, just sayin.
One down, two to go !

Try uninstalling adw launcher
And search games on market. Does it really only show 20-30 games..?

Have you tried installing a new market? [vending]
Download the latest CM7 gapps, extract the vending.apk [market], place it on your sd card, then install it.
I had the same problem with the Market, and I know others did too. Mine was only on occasion, but still obnoxious. So far the newest Market leaked from ICS (version 3.2.0) has fixed the problem for me. I couldn't install it over, I had to replace the apk in /system/app, set permissions (rw-r--r--) and reboot. Remove or rename any com.android.vending.apk you may have in /data/app, just in case. Backup your old Market in Titanium Backup or rename it so you can revert back if needed.
Link here: http://db.tt/pTvEmx4v
As for the launcher issue, I had similar problems when I was running CM7 way back on nightly 21 or something. Try updating to a newer version or downgrading to a previous version. Or you can try reflashing the rom over itself. You'll need to reinstall the new Market if you flash anything.

Launcher Issue
Notice: The stock launcher for CM is ADW Launcher. I'm not a big fan of it either so I've also replaced mine. Normally just installing a launcher from the market and selecting it as your default launcher (via the pop up window that displays when you have multiple launchers installed) is all it takes to make it a default. I normally wouldn't advocate changing your system apps. However, in your case it seems like the system just doesn't want to cooperate with you.
Here is how to do it.
1. Make sure ALL launchers are uninstalled. (except for ADW of course)
2. Download a root file explorer like ES File Explorer
3. Download Zeam Home Launcher's apk file to your SD card
4. Open ES File Explorer (or whatever root file manager you downloaded) and make sure your root folder is mounted (so that you can modify its contents instead of it being read only)
5. Copy Zeam Launcher apk from SD card to /System/App/
6. Delete the apk for ADW Launcher (the stock launcher) from /System/App/ (or you can just move it to your SD card in case you decide later that you want to use it again)
7. Reboot phone
8. Enjoy Zeam as your new PERMANENT stock launcher.
Please note that this is NOT my guide, I just simplified it into very easy terms and instructions, but original is by the great WarLockW
Steps to take:
01. Have a T-Mobile T889 Samsung Galaxy Note 2
02. Download these files: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1446771&d=1351716949
03. Extract files to folder on Desktop
04. Root your T-Mobile T889 Samsung Galaxy Note 2
05. Once rooted, make a COMPLETE backup using CWM or Titanium Backup (I did BOTH just in case, I like to be double sure I have a backup)
06. Once backed up, go to Google Play Market and download "APN Backup & Restore"
07. Once installed, open APN Backup & Restore and press on "OK" on the warning message that comes up
08. Close APN Backup & Restore (from task manager too, just in case)
09. Open Titanium Backup and press on Backup/Restore
10. Find the application "APN Backup & Restore" and long press with your finger on it
11. Once menu comes up, press on "Convert to System App"
12. Once done, close Titanium Backup (from task manager too, just in case)
13. Open APN Backup & Restore and press on "OK" on the warning Message that comes up
14. Press on the menu button on the phone and press on "Disable ICS Check"
15. Close APN Backup & Restore (from task manager too, just in case)
16. Open APN Backup & Restore and press on "Backup APNs"
17. Select a name or leave the one in there
18. Once backed up, close APN Backup & Restore (from task manager too, just in case)
19. Connect your phone to your computer
20. Once connected, navigate to your phone drive in My Computer and go to "Phone > ApnBackupRestore" > Copy the created XML file to your computer (once again, just in case)
21. While still in the "Phone > ApnBackupRestore" folder copy/cut/paste the "T-Mobile-APN.xml" file to that folder
22. Once the file has been copied to the "Phone > ApnBackupRestore" folder, open up APN Backup & Restore application on your phone
23. Once open, press on "Delete APNs" and press "Yes"
24. Once deleted, press on "Restore APNs" and select the T-Mobile-APN.xml (the one we originally copies from the zip folder that needed to be downloaded/extracted to a folder on your Desktop, and press "OK"
25. It will then restore the newly modified APN file
26. Close APN Backup & Restore (from task manager too, just in case)
27. Go to Google Play Market and download "Tethering Widget"
28. Once installed, go to the APPS icon on your phone and select Widgets tab on top and drag the Tethering Widget to a new page
29. You should now be able to successfully enable native tethering via the Widget
30. MISSION COMPLETE
*NOTE: DO NOT GO INTO THE ACTUAL T-MOBILE HOTSPOT APPLICATION AS IT WILL OVERWRITE THE APNS AND TETHERING WILL NO LONGER WORK. IF THAT HAPPENS, REPEAT STEPS 23-30.
Please let me know if I have missed anything. Alot of these steps are self explanitory but I have had issues with this the past day, but I finally got it to work so I wanted to share every step in an ultra-easy fashion

I believe so, just make sure you have ROOT already done and if you have Root Explorer, I suggest just copy the contents of the download zip file on to your sd card and you can go through there, as long as you have all the files, you should be able to if I am not mistaken. I am pretty computer savvy, but I have been out of the android world for a few years, coming from an iphone 4, so this is sort of all new to me, but i do believe you should be good to go without a computer. The zip file contains the T-Mobile-APN.xml along with the APK so you should have it all
The quick and dirty is. Grab tmobile.xml from the OP.
Install APN backup.
move APN backup to /system/app from /data/app. You can do this by moving and changing permissions to 644. then rebooting. //don't titanium pro
delete all apns, after backing up. And restore the one from the OP.
Use settings>mobile hotspot and enable hotspot.
do u need titanium backup pro for this? or just free version?
Edit: ok nvm got stuck at the system app step with just the free version..
Yes, that feature is part of the PRO version.

Tried the original post, tried this version as well, not working for me.
Oh well, hope there's another solution sometimes soon.
thans man this works great
great instructions, it almost made me feel i was following a teacher in school hahaahahaha.
Works 100% for me. Thanks!!!!
LOL to the teacher comment haha
I figured it would be best to explain it as if I am explaining to a n00b as myself =D
But main solutions credit goes to WarlockW once again hehe
Wish we had this for the sprint version.

If you got it to work but need to change the password of the hotspot now
go to the notification bar, go into the hotspot settings
do not click on On/Off (it should now be on from the widget)
click on the Hotspot name (Mine was Samsung Galaxy Note II 13)
Then click on Configure (lower right)
and in there you can set the password to be whatever you want
save settings
and you should be good.
Another Question?

I did that as well, turn security off and logged in but it directed me to Tmobile page asking me to do an upgrade on my plan for tethering and using their hotspots, so I just went back to my wifi instead.
Is there a way to bypass that page and go straight to surfing and etc.?

Go through steps 23-30 again, delete the APNs and restore the T-Mobile-APN.xml file from the original zip.
