Hi,
Just got my new Note 2014, but after it goes to standby it wont wake up anymore, i have to reboot it to work again.
Does anyone knows how to fix it?
It still android 4.3 but according with Kies its the latest firmware.

Hi everyone,
I've got this phone from my neighbor who asked me to fix it, the problem is that the phone boots up normally and works good until it enters standby mode! When we try to wake it up, nothing is shown on the screen, in fact, the screen is turned off, but the phone still respond to other buttons such as volume and the power button and the capacitive buttons.
So we tried to:
- reset it to factory setting
- install the latest update (it was downloaded on the phone but not installed)
- change the screen time out to "never"
- change the unlock option to None
- stop power saving mode and the other power management stuff (the CPU management)
Information about the phone:
Android: 4.1.2
Baseband: APQ8064/MDM9x15M
Kernel v: 3.4.0
Build n°: JZO54K
Software v: E97510c-208-10
This phone is from France (SFR) didn't rooted it/ flash a custom rom / unlocked it or whatever!
Please help me to find a solution! :crying:
I don't want to flash it to another rom since it's not mine and my friend wants it as it is. :/
Unfortunatelly we can't help without root. You need root in order to install apps like cpu spy,betterbatterystats. If you don't want to root,then send it to warranty...no offense,but your request for help sounds like when you go to the doctor in pain,you want help,but you don't let the doctor touch you.
In order to have a proper diagnose and see what is causing that sleep.
You coukd try kdz updater to flash original firmware.

Thanks anyway, it fixed itself in fact after the update I've done, smt went wrong and couldn't fetch for further updates, until the day after, I retried and a bunch of update just came out :laugh: and after (maybe 4 updates) the screen goes on, but another problem that I can't activate nfc, and the problem was before and even after all the update, I will tell him to root it and flash a custom rom, I will try to flash CM on it.

Rooted my G3 wanted to update and when it starts to install update it stops at 25% everytime and restarts the phone. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hi My Tab N5120 was brikicked, i was trying to install a firmware from Odin then it gave me a failed, and that I was not able to make it work again.
I was able to go to the recovery screen (Volume down - power) after Using Odin for CF-Auto-Root-konalte-konaltexx-gtn5120 and RecoveryCWM6.03.2-GT-N5120, but every time i install a firmware like N5120XXCMG7_N5120BTUCMG7_BTU or N5120ZHBME1_N5120ZZHBME1_TGY it fails.
Can someone Help me please, I have this issue for a month now and no idea how to fix it

Did you managed to get your Tablet Unbricked? I just wanted to know because I have an N5120 with a broken LCD+Digitizer but the unit still powers ON, you can hear the Samsung booting sound, it charges and whem you touch the screen you can see the menu changing. Let me know you may be able to use the board inside.
Need help urgently. My phone updated from 4.1 to 4.4.2 and buttons stopped working. Everything is stuck. It was stock update. Tried even custom rom DN3 but still the same. My note 2 is from UAE.
I have tried all the method, even custom rom. Now warranty is void so cant even go to samsung service center. Cant downgrade also. i read about samsung service center downgrading to 4.1 on this forum. need help.
Seems its a common problem after update to 4.4.2. i thought i was updating to stable and did not know got trapped now. will have to replace phone. can replacing bootloader might help. menu and back buttons work in recovery screen. very strange issue.
Very strange. I went to samsung repair center and they had to replace motherboard. then camera was not working and headphone was giving issue so that was replaced. Seems all the hardware is replaced and phone firmware is at 4.3. did samsung rollback the update.
Finally back on track. lets see what next. knox back to 0

Did you solve your problem. I have same problem with you. It started from 4.3 update. Now i'm using 4.1.2. Because up the 4.1.2 rom my buttons not working. If you find a solution please inform me
I found a little workaround .... i first update to kit kat with pit file and nand clear and still no sign of buttons...then i flashed twrp recovery and flashed slimbean 4.4.4 (latest version) then miracle the capacitive buttons work perfect ... so i can think someone make a workaround for the official firmware
Hey I currently have the Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5100,
when i connect it to my pc it starts up and stops at the recovery screen. But it is flashing, the screen is always turning on and off.
What does that mean, and how can i fix it? I tried to reflash the firmware with kies but it doesn't recognize the phone. What is the easiest way to get the note back to work?
