Which backup did you restore? If yous till remember, you made that backup while stuck in insecure kernel.
Fix it again by the instructions I PMed you.
If you want to make a data restore, under restore, check only data partition and then restore.

replace your insecured kernel with stock one....it'll work fine !
still if u experience the same prob, jus flash full stock rm-1030 rom using nokia x flasher

I have the same problem i have installed insesured kernal and when i press power button to wake up a black screen appears and covers menu..and back soft key also stop working and camera to..my phone get ****ed

Dont worry......just follow this steps
1. root your phone with nokia x manager
2. Backup and wipe all data of your previous rom using recovery mode or with nokia x manager
3. Then install other rom in your nokia device using nokia x manager or nokia care suit.
Then your device can work properly

I rooted it with CMW Supersu and it was version 2.17.111.3
Hold power button and volume down when the phone is booting, then you will get into recovery mode.

Xperia S bootloop

Hello guys, i had an Xperia U with unblocked Bootloader and every time I had a single bootloop, (Only Sony logo appeared) i just pulled my battery off and installed Stock Ftf thorough flash tool. Now I bought an Xperia S and I am thinking of installing a ROM.... What shall I do in case a boot loop appears, since the battery is not removable? I really need an answer guys.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Answer was given by Envious_Data
one buzz ~ force off
3 buzz ~ hard reset (like pulling your battery)
hmmm it depends on what your looking to do
if you want to keep your bootloader locked folow these steps
root your device
install cwm for locked bootloder
make or downloadflashable zip of stock rom
flash if bootloop
for unlocked bootloader
Root
install cwm (one for lbl works on ubl for obvious reasons)
install a custom kernel
(almost all for xperia s custom kernels have recoverys commonly cwm and some with twrp)
make or download a stock rom
i dont know what you do with your phone so this is a mostly failsafe fix

So, in case i fail doing sth i must have a Stock ROM zip in my phone's memory, and when my phone starts boot(loop)ing, i should enter cwm and flash the Zip.Thanks bro!
And a last question, what happens in case someone doesn't have a Zip ans his phone keeps boot looping?
you can use flashtool or sony pc companion to flash a stock rom onto your device

I know that bro, but how shall i power off my phone since the battery cannot be removed? It will keep booting without purpose and i won't be able to shut it down and connect it to my pc
You can switch off using by pressing Volume up and power key while the device is on. This is similar to removing battery of the phone.

yes holding volume up and power will force off
one buzz ~ force off

you can power off during boot from your PC but id recommend forcing off instead, it seems data gets corrupted more easy when its requested to turn off

[Q] Nokia xl update help and gapps.

So recently I updated my nokia (RM1030) to the laoftware update I.e 1.2.3.21 but I iam confused that shouldnt I get the MixRadio app instead of the normal radio on the latest update? Cuz I have seen it on other devices. Also I want to install the google play services so I can get playstore and stuff . Do I. Eed to root cuz I dont want to root because it can ge bricked or something like that so any suggestions?
Both MixRadio and normal radio are present in 1.2.3.21 update. and no need to root if you want to install gapps. Just use AngSanley's Nokia X Manager.

simple instruction is put the gapps in your phone memory or sd card
if you have custom recovery (lewa, miui, cwm, twrp) just install the zip file
always make a backup of your stable rom before flashing, theres nothing wrong in having mistake just make sure you have back up in your recovery or in any case have a backup of stock rom (if recovering from backup did not work) you can always flash back stock rom to your device via nx flasher

First you need the updated ADB driver for nokia x.
Here is the thread by Dom3616 :http://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-x/general/fix-updated-adb-drivers-nokia-x-v1-2-4-1-t2835827
you will find download link and the installation Procedure.
download any gapps flashable zip file for 4.1.2 to your pc( I used the one mentioned in this post-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53977207&postcount=31)
Then open nokia x manager and connect you phone to pc as usb memory.
After it detect your phone click on Install GApps. then press ok and select the GApps.zip file you downloaded.
After that it will copy the zip file to your internal memory and boot your device in TWRP temporarily.(You will not able to boot in twrp again).
In twrp click on install and navigate to your .zip file and select it. Then swipe to confirm. it will install it and then click reboot. It will ask you to root your device just click on no. Done.
