I rooted it with CMW Supersu and it was version 2.17.111.3

Hold power button and volume down when the phone is booting, then you will get into recovery mode.

Need serious help. Phone not booting

So,I tried installing CM10 following instructions from lloirs thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835285).
I flashed the boot.img in the first step because he says it is a better option.
After that I proceeded to flash the CM10 zip file, but the install failed.
After that my phone wouldn't boot, so I did a restore from CWM and now my phone is stuck on the HTC One screen for a good half an hour.
Please help. Really need the phone tomorrow.

Which ROM would be safe? Because I used the correct Kernel with this as well. Think I should go with the CM9?
for time being use rc 5.0..With kiss kernel.. full wipe first

See 2 post above you. Search for the index thread in the dev section. I think u need to do something with hboot. Search and research.
But how did u root your phone with unrevoke? Because unrevoke cant root the 2 latest firmwares of the wildfire, because of the hboot version.

again: all we do here is just guessing as the info you're giving is almost general - nothing specific - no details.
What software did you use to "root" your wildfire? If you don't know/remember the name - did you download it? from where? how's the file name? did you do it with htcdev?
We even don't know what phone exactly you have - are you sure it's a "wildfire"? not a "bee" or a "wildfire s"?
You said you booted into recovery - how did you do that? By holding "volume down" and "power" button simultanously until boot? What happens then? Does it show the red ! mark when you boot and when you boot into recovery?
If you just rooted your phone it's possible that you either don't have a recovery installed nor a operation system...
We really need a bit more detailed information to help

If u just searched a bit around the forums of wildfire u came across this But i will help a little.
First we need to know if u are s-off. Boot into bootloader (volume down + power button) and see if s-off is stated there or s-on. Report it to us. IF S-ON DONT DO THE NEXT STEPS! (it wont work XD)
1. First read those post here carefully to understand what you are doing and what you can do.
2. than see this guide under the topic "What after s-off" in the index thread.
3. Boot into recovery mode and see what happens.
4. See the index thread for more information

[Q] Backing up One X

Hello,
I currently have HTC One X and will buy One X Plus in a few days.
I want to backup all my data(music,pics...) but as well apps and settings so when I get the One X Plus it will have all data
my One X had. It will be like a same phone.
I know I can do this with Titanium Backup PRO but I don't have a rooted phone and don't want to root it.
Is there another App/Method to do this full Backup?
I should mention that my current One X is 4.0.4 while the One X Plus will be 4.1.1
Thanks for help!
Then, also hox had android 4.1.1, why your not?
However, for music, pic, etc that you have in SD card, you can make a copy/paste to computer and after to HOX+.
For the apps, you can use Carbon
It doesn't require Root

Hi Guich,
I have an Almost 1 year old HTC One X withn official OTA jellybean 4.1.1 update (I liev in the Nederlands).
I've decided to root my phone but before I wanna make a back up ofcourse! I've just finished to try it for the 3rd time today: I press power button + volume rocker down. Get the fastboot menu; go down to ''recovery'' with the volume rocker. Press power button and ....I GET A TRIANGLE WITH A EXCLAMATION POINT ON APHONE ICON. My phone stays like this for ± 2 min and restarts normally. What I'm doing wrong here? My phone is now not fully charged. Is this the problem?
Thanx!
Your problem is that you still have the stock recovery, you need a custom recovery to make a nandroid backup. You can also PM in dutch

Then turn off device, press and hold volume down + power
Thanks to you both. I hope you dont mind the noob questions?
Is the kernal included in the viper x rom or do i have to download something else as well?
Thanks
A
Thanks checked hboot its 1.39
Is this a good thing?
Thanks for the help
Andy
ViperX includes a slightly tweaked stock kernel, which is recommended.
Your hboot version is compatible with the ROM! Just flash and you're good to go!!
Thanks TT,
I will have a proper read tonight and when i have a spare hour i will probably give it a go.
Thanks for answering all my questions I really do appreciate it.
Andy
You can download kernel from Vipers thread(in second post) or extract it yourself from rom.zip(drag and drop method).
Thanks have just done a factory reset in hope my battery is better
If that doesn't work then it's flash time

Yeah its inside the Rom.zip, you must copy it out there and flash it with fastboot or the toolkit
To sum it up
1: copy the rom to the sdcard of the phone
2: flash the boot.img
3: perform a full wipe in recovery
4: install the viper rom
Mr Hofs,
I have noticed you post and help a lot here - thanks!
I was intending to use the toolkit as im a real noob.
Hopefully it should be straightforward with that.

Try this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?b28a4voqpqvj7kp
If you liked the Rom, and you had functional phone service and data, then you should keep it. The packaging GAPPS with the Roms is kind of illegal, and so developers do not include these in their Roms. Search around to find an appropriate download for them in zip format which matches the base android for the Rom you want. Simply install the zip through recovery after installing the Rom itself.
However, if you want to reset your device, follow one of the guides of opening the RUU and extracting the img files from TEMP.
