So recently I updated my nokia (RM1030) to the laoftware update I.e 1.2.3.21 but I iam confused that shouldnt I get the MixRadio app instead of the normal radio on the latest update? Cuz I have seen it on other devices. Also I want to install the google play services so I can get playstore and stuff . Do I. Eed to root cuz I dont want to root because it can ge bricked or something like that so any suggestions?
Both MixRadio and normal radio are present in 1.2.3.21 update. and no need to root if you want to install gapps. Just use AngSanley's Nokia X Manager.

simple instruction is put the gapps in your phone memory or sd card
if you have custom recovery (lewa, miui, cwm, twrp) just install the zip file
always make a backup of your stable rom before flashing, theres nothing wrong in having mistake just make sure you have back up in your recovery or in any case have a backup of stock rom (if recovering from backup did not work) you can always flash back stock rom to your device via nx flasher

I mean does nokia x manager adds custom recovery temporarly for just installing a zip?

First you need the updated ADB driver for nokia x.
Here is the thread by Dom3616 :http://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-x/general/fix-updated-adb-drivers-nokia-x-v1-2-4-1-t2835827
you will find download link and the installation Procedure.
download any gapps flashable zip file for 4.1.2 to your pc( I used the one mentioned in this post-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53977207&postcount=31)
Then open nokia x manager and connect you phone to pc as usb memory.
After it detect your phone click on Install GApps. then press ok and select the GApps.zip file you downloaded.
After that it will copy the zip file to your internal memory and boot your device in TWRP temporarily.(You will not able to boot in twrp again).
In twrp click on install and navigate to your .zip file and select it. Then swipe to confirm. it will install it and then click reboot. It will ask you to root your device just click on no. Done.

There is a new firmware out that I'm running on my F320 now. Its F320K11a completely stock. However its a update.zip flash, so you need to install recovery and then flash it. I have flashed this over a F320S and L Model no problems. So its safe to say it will work on all F320's make a CWM backup first and place in on your hard drive just incase.
Changes include now in the menu nav settings you can now high the menu buttons for most apps.
Source and download
Its a 2.1GB download
Thanks for that my friend,we do need some love for our korean variants also lol
The download is 1.9gb for me and the name file is F320_11A_CUSTOM_ROM.rar
I hope im not downloading a wrong one...
But is this a Stock update from LG Korea or a custom rom ?

Yes the korean model needs some love, really its the best version with a removable battery and mircosd support
Its not a custom rom, I've installed its stock carrier F32oK Olleh firmware 11A, it just installed like a custom rom as its not a KDZ but a update.zip
You need the CWM touch mod apk installer here to install it. You should make a cwm backup to an external source before flashing the update zip. And later factory reset if your coming from F320L or F320S to stop and errors.

Not sure, which recovery are you using? I can test for you. If I install it I loose my mircosd card paths and can access my sd.
Open recovery, its ok tho i did it already now i need to see how it goes lol
There was no need of a clean set up tho,it s an otan so its supposed to go above any firmware. No problems or errors so far and i kept all my files and setting intact.

The latest K11C firmware leaked release dated 24th of Sept. Its an update.zip within the rar file so flash via twrp or cwm and remember to wipe/factory reset to stop any errors. (Always backup too)

Hi all, I've got an M8 and really want to add a few features to it. I'm a bit of a noob to all of this so I hope you don't mind these questions in this forum.
I think Android Revolution HD and the Sense 6 Toolbox have the features that I'd like. So I need to:
1. Install ARHD
2. Install the Xposed framework using ARHD
3. Install Sense 6
I've been reading this page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265618
So I need to:
1. Unlock the bootloader (steps 1 to 19)
2. Flash a custom recovery (next section, steps 1 to 11) - Where do I get a custom recovery though?
3. Flash a custom ROM (next section, steps 1 to 7) - This is the part which installs ARHD?
4. Install Xposed through ARHD
5. Install Sense 6
Please forgive my noobish questions and correct me where I'm making a fool of myself! I'm a quick learner
Thanks in advance

you can do step 1 & 2 by using
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699065
Once your device rooted, just download the rom , copy to your phone and flash it via recovery.
step 4&5 are part of step 3, which is installing ROM
you can download the rom from the following link.
http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.com.au/p/android-revolution-hd-mirror-site-var.html
Thanks desi A couple more questions if you don't mind!

Please can I get a consensus - should I use the "Toolkit V2.0" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699065) or the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265618 to root the phone?
At what stage can I make a nandroid backup?
Thanks!

Thanks, I think I've got it now...the toolkit has TWRP which is a custom recovery right?
I've also been reading about S-off...I don't think I need to know about it for what I'm planning?
Thanks again
Ok..I'm pretty sure I don't need it...
I'm going for it now...my first root. Wish me luck!
I've used the tool kit successfully and used TWRP to make a backup
I backed up before installing super user.
There you're, closer go install arhd.
Ok, HRHD installed, Sense 6 installed, Xposed installed.
But when I opened Xposed from the app drawer, under "Framework" it says "The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?"
Any ideas?
Ok I've done it, I had to allow apps from unknown sources and then give Xposed superuser permission.

I think there are some security concern in universal kit. BTW i don't use antivirus. Either windows is blocking or it is buggy, i don't know. I have rooted my device using TWRP 2.7 (via Nokia X manager). But i m facing issue while backing up my Stock Rom. As i said screen is turning black. Each time i have to remove the battery.

Guys! i have successfully installed the ROM:victory: Whole process took around 45 minutesgood: However the biggest pain in ass was installing ADB drivers:crying: Somehow windows was not detecting it. That is why i decided to share my experience, so that u don't waste ur valuable time. After installing the ADB drivers, simply install the NokiaCareSuiteForStore 5.4.:good: Luckily it is available at XDA forum itself
All credit goes to @YSH ALSAGER. Awesome! man u deserve unlimited Thanks!:good:
However there are just few bugs left. Which is listed below:
1) FM is not working
2) Walkman keeps popping error "unfortunately download music info has stopped"
3) It is not detecting the storage properly. Internal as external and vice versa.
That's it, rest is working like a charm. I m really happy:laugh:

You can Fix radio by my zip fix, For walkman just delete download music info from system apps, and For MTP change it from Settings app then Storage options, press menu and change it to MTP.
Note: If you want to use this ROM in other language (it's only Indonesian and English) just Flash its language Pack by me Here

I m not able to find download music info using root explorer. Regarding MTP can u be more specific. I have already tick on MTP. Where is this setting app located? Lastly is there any way i can change default camera app? At the moment google camera app is not working. Sony cybershot app is working fine, but it is not set to default, due to which i am unable to open camera using google voice. Sorry to bother u

I know u r trying to help me But trust me i m not able to find download music info file using both ES file explorer and root explorer. I thoroughly check the system-app folder. Infact all this files are arrange alphabetically. There are only two file starting with word "D" The camera is pre-installed with the ROM. I can't remove or disable it. If possible please also clarify regarding storage detection issue. Screenshot is attached:good:
