I've rooted my z1c with locked bootloader and install a rom after wiped /system. But /system cannot be mounted as r/w. I've flashed dualrecovery again while it did not work.
Nothing is in /sys/kernel/security/sony_ric/ and /sbin/ric cannot be deleted after I executed /system/xbin/rickiller.sh
How can i solve it? Is is a problem caused by rom and which file is missing? Or will it be solved after unlocking bootloader and flash another kernel?
Please help.

You can't simply execute the script, it needs to be executed at boot before RIC is intialized. I advise you to flash stock rom with flashtool (for clean /system) then simply root with this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784900 and install dualrecovery again. :good:

Thx. It works. It seems that installmount.sh in the new root tool enables the r/w permission.

For some custom roms you need to flash kernels via fastboot and for this you need unlocked bootloader.
if bootloader it's locked use Google and search there is official way to unlock but you will lose warranty and drm.

First flash any kernel you want instructions will be given from where you will download like doomkernel it has inbuit recovery. Reboot into recovery choose your rom
Wipe system, chache, dalvik chache install zip from sd card
Dont flash ics rom over gb kernel or gb rom over ics kernel or it will cause bootloop

Considering you already have flashtool and your desired kernel follow this :
1) Plug in your phone in fastboot mode [S-Off, hold menu key and plug in to PC]
2) Place you .img on your desktop
3) Open up flashtool, select fastboot mode and select flash kernel and select it from the desktop
4) Once kernel is flashed un plug your device restart it open up CWM and flash desired ROM.
Hopefully i helped you out

You need to unlock your bootloader. Root is not needed at all.

Yes root is not required so tell what exact error you are getting and first confirm that you have adb drivers installed

I want detailed steps of installing cwm
Coz i hv googled loads of forum bt i'm very confused aftr seeing dem i want any1 of u to share xct method of installing cwm
Thnks in advnce!!
1) Unlock your bootloader, Google 'Sony unlock bootloader' for this.
2) Install a custom kernel with CWM built in, you will need flashtool for that.
That is the only way you can install CWM, it is not available for locked bootloaders.

Before unlocking bootloader (if it's allowed on your device) backup the ta partition

It always happens upon unlocking your boot loader. Don't panic download the .ftf file, flash it and wait
*blink*
It's normal problem, try to flash ftf file with Flashpoint and do a full wipe data from flashtool and after flash just wait it for first boot it will take a while, because you do a full wipe ok
if when flashed the ftf file how can i root the phone? maybe can you write it? if it is not a problem thanks

Where can i check the bootloader status? Cause I unlocked the bootloader just i have a bootloop, you know.
Edit: I checked in Service Menu. Bootloader unlock: Yes. This would be?

After flashing stock rom using flashtool , you ll not get bootloop....
After that
Dial *#*#7378423#*#* . Then go to -> "Service Info" -> "Configuration". If there is:
Bootloader unlock allowed - Yes << this means that your Bootloader is Locked, but can be unlocked ..
If it shows
Bootloader Unlocked - Yes << this means that your bootloader is unlocked
Hope it helps

To get custom recovery ,,
Open flashtool, then connect your phone via fastboot mode, then click flash icon then select fastboot mode, then select kernal to flash ...
Then choose the downloaded custom recovery image file .. That's it..,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46720390#post46720390
Everything is working, sometimes google play services will show that it has stopped working unfortunately.. But no major problem with this rom..
Ambient display feature is not available yet.,
When u call someone ,it ll take two seconds more to display the calling screen.
All small problems, nothing major..
