[Q] POP BB email works, android email doesn't

I'm coming off a Blackberry curve 8300 and i was able to send and receive my company's email via POP3/SMTP just fine.
On my Android phone, i've never been able to get my company's SMTP to work on the e-mail program on the phone.
There's nothing complicated about the setup. mail.company.com for in and out servers, ports 110/25, no SSL, no log-in required.
any suggestions?
How can you run POP without a login? How would the POP server know who was asking to collect his|her mail?
read again. outgoing mail server is not working. i can receive my mail without issues. sending mail is the problem...
does it help to know it runs off an Exchange server?
I know nothing about Exchange, sorry.
found my answer.

[Q] Disable email account certificate verification?

Hey
I was wondering if there is a way to get my school emails from an exchange configuration, I've managed to get it down to a matter of "Certificate not verified" and, even though I am not a network administrator I know that its because its was signed by the school itself. Is there a way I can disable the verification or bypass it somehow?
Thanks in advance
Install the certificate on your phone. Either email it or put it on your web server.
Like the previous poster said - just email it to yourself. You can even email it to your exchange account and the log onto the webmail to get it

LG Mail & Exchange Server

Does anyone use LG Mail for their work Exchange Server? IF so, do you get constant message where it says your work email password has changed and to re-enter it? I didn't have this issue on my Note 3 using Samsung Email. On top of that my calendar doesn't sync anymore? I would have to recreate the account to see new entries I just added.

Click to collapse
I do, and I don't. Works perfectly.

Bypass Exchange Security

Does anyone know of a good app or hack to use with lollipop to bypass needing a pin or password to setup your exchange email account?
Xposed.

Problem with connection to Exchange

Hi all
I've been on the official Samsung rom until now, and have recently installed the CM rom (cm-13.0-20160702-NIGHTLY-serranoltexx).
I'm trying to connect to my work Exchange account.
When adding an account I have an option to add an Exchange account, but not an Exchange ActiveSync account
When I trying creating the Exchange account it refused to accept my password.
Does anyone know of a way to get the B]Exchange ActiveSync[/B] account option?
If not - I've installed Blue Mail which has very nice support for email, but not for calendar. Does anyone know of a good way to sync the exchange calendar into the google one?
Thanks
