Hi The problem is that the phone c2005 flash mode is not the case for the moment the green light turns on and then turns off and the phone is in a state of zeus mode.
Hello Mnmfk,
If the phone is stuck in ZEUS mode there is nothing you can do other than getting it repaired by a authorized Sony Repair center as this sounds like a hardbrick to me.
ZEUS mode is a hardware emergency mode, and there is no way right now to fix your phone in this mode by yourself.
Have a great weekend,

Hello,
So, regarding the current state of my phone:
This is an Xperia Arc S LT18i
I can't seem to turn it on at all. I can't try to connect it in fastboot because holding the home button down and connecting it does nothing, but loading it in flash mode seems to work.
When plugged into the computer via USB the led light by the connection port lights up solid green. When I plug it into an adapter, the LED just blinks green. I get this same blinking when I hold down the power button.
Speaking with Sony Customer support they believe it's a battery problem. I've ordered a new battery due to arrive friday or saturday. Checking online, however, this seems to be similar to the FOTA Bricking problem that Arc users experience - however, the difference being I can neither send it in (as Customer support claims they cannot fix it in the US) nor was I running the same version of android. Before my phone was bricked I had flashed it to ICS and stupidly accepted an update, after which my phone shut down and was left in its current state.
Flashing it does nothing, even worse PC Companion won't repair it as the phone's been tinkered with, and I'm entirely lost as to what to do. If it's just a battery problem I'll be overjoyed, but this clearly doesnt seem like a battery problem to me.
Please help!
Edit: Also, the FOTA fix link is dead...
For fastboot hold the menu button down whilst connecting, holding home won't do anything

Its not a battery issue for sure.
Do this.
Download and flash only the stock kernel (ICS or GB) and then flash 4.1.B.0.587(ICS) or 4.0.2.A.0.69 (GB) ftf in flashtool
If u flash GB kernel then flash GB.ftf in flashtool, If u flash ics kernel then flash any ics ftf in flashtool...That shud work
hello friends, i am flashing a new .ftf firmware into my ion but while flashing i got some error and then my cell automatically boots and it goes into bootloop.
i tried to do soft reset (volume up+power ) while cell is connected to pc via usb and it suddenly goes into FASTBOOT mode (blue led)
now it doesnt exiting from it. It constatly showing me blue light from past 3 hrs.
What should i do guys?
in flashtool connecting in flashboot mode it showing me DEVICE NOT FOUND
pls help me asap
pls somebody help me out
Sorry for my poor English, hope this will help:
First try another USB port on your PC, maybe you have some driver-related problems.
If it doesn't work, try another PC so Windows will try to detect the driver itself, wait till the installation finished (everything will be checked as green V mark, none of them is red).
thanks honey, but my problem is my device is soft bricked and it stucks in fastboot mode since last 5 hrs what should i do?
should i wait till all battery gets empty?
or should i kept it for charge?
i am on locked bootloader
Yes, but first try to let Windows detect your phone. If it's detected then you only need re-flashing stock ROM. If you're in FLASHMODE, you need your PC detects your phone.
You said the led is blue, so I don't think it's flashmode... for flashmode, the led is green, solid, no blinking.
And there is a topic for recovering from soft-brick. Have you checked it yet? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
I don't see any BIG problem with your phone.
You're failed to flash the .ftf, so you'll get bootloop.
If you don't know what to do, the easiest way is bringing it to SONY CENTER
i refered that thread, but my problem is different, it unable to do soft n hard reset,
my laptop doesnt recognise the cell, i am unable to go into flashmode, my cell is stuck on blue led(fastboot mode)
what should i do in this case?
Ah ha, it's fastboot, but in the OP you said FLASHBOOT so I thought it was FLASH MODE... :-s
Wait for the battery drained. Then re-plug the charger, if you see the red led, then it's OK. If it's still blinking, wait more.
Now run Flashtool, choose Flash Mode like normal but you don't need to press the volume down or whatever, just plug the phone there for charging. When the phone get about 10% of battery it'll auto flash (~10-15mins).
After successful do charge your phone till full
thank you so much my friend...
when i connect my cell to wall charger it blink purple light.
so i decided to drain the battery full..
how much time it will take to drain?
it draining battery from past 5.30 hrs.
at that time my battery % was 36%
guys now my cell showing red led constant.
but it doesnt go into flashmode what to do?
You left ur phone completely drained out, then plug in the charger it' solid red, no blinking right? If so, unplug the charger, start flashboot, choose flash mode, choose ftf file, and then it ask you must boot ur phone into flashmode right? Plug ur phone and wait for it to be charged, after 10-15mins it will auto flash.u dont need to manual boot into flashmode because it's impossible

when i connct to pc only red light blinks not green one.
should i do remain my cell in that condition?
As I said above, just leave it for about 10-15mins. The phone will auto turn on and auto flash Rom for you. And leave your flashboot as it is till your phone os flashed

Hi:
Today i was doing restore to my stock rom after installing JB rom , my phone was connecting with my PC to give it some charge and the restoring was running without problems.
I left my phone for like 30 minuit restoring in recovery then when i saw it , all i can see only on black screen "I mean the screen is full off , not on with black loght".
I can't run it , reboot , open fastboot mode or flashmode , and when i connect it to PC or to the charger i have only red light , and when i disconnect it from the charger the red light gone and still dead.
It works!!!!!!!
I had known 3 thigs:
1- In the recovery mode , connecting the phone to charge it is time wasting because it's not getting charge in the recovery mode.
2- When the battery is 0% you can't ever open flashmode or fastboot.
3- When your device don't boot or open flashmode or vibrate , the first thing you have to try is charging it atleast 10 minuits.
conclusion
now, your phone can turn on?
so the problem was only batery problem?

I have xperia M which i think is bricked now. It gets stuck ay the sony logo and later a black screen appears with a white horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen and restarts all over again. it is rooted but the bootloader is still locked. while connected to pc it shows qhsusb_dload and detects only fastboot mode in flash tool. it still runs the stock jelly bean which i updated using pc companion. Earlier i installed xposed framework and went goofing around in build props, may be thats what caused it. Please someone help me fix this.

Okay I did some research about this "qhsusb_dload", it means Qualcomm High Speed USB Download Mode and it doesn't translate to a good condition at all
It usually happens because your phone's bootloader is corrupted:... meaning hard-bricked..some recover from it by miracles.
From what I've researched, try putting the phone connected to a charger and full charge it, then try attempting to turn it on, keep trying, and also try pressing the power button for 15secs if it still won't boot up properly.
If all fails, then I'm sorry, I can't help you on this.. send it to the service center..
I'm so sorry for your device usually goofing around a compatible xposed with only root won't bring the phone into a total hardbrick....
This happens most commonly, from what I've researched, if you drain your phone completely to 0% and try to boot it up again..

same happens with me but it is still in flashmode and lets me flash stock rom when i bricked it, wouldn't worry about it as long as the led was green it doesn't matter if it goes off after.
Hi guys!
I'm trying to bring back to life a Gio from a friend who somehow killed it trying to flash it.
Now the phone does nothing besides turn on the back light of the screen. I can´t put it in download mode or recovery mode.
Although Windows and Odin found the phone can´t flash it. I'm guessing because I can't get the phone to enter download mode.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Thanks!
UPDATE
I've manege to make a usb jig to try to enter in download mode. But, as before, when I connect it just turn on the back light of the screen.
The jig works fine on another phone.
Any tips??
No one??
