Guys,
I have rooted SM-T520 with latest OTA (T520UEUAND1).
Installed dolphin browser & hacked flash for KitKat. Flash was working for one minute then stop (it does it every time after factory reset). I cannot figure put what is blocking flash player.
Please help
(I'm not a guy, but I will take a stab at this) In settings for Dolphin browser, under user agent, be sure it is set to 'desktop'. Took me awhile to figure this out.

Thanks, but I have that set up to desktop already. It goes on and off. I was able to get it back to work by clearing dolphins cache. It seems that it is something between dolphin and flash plugin.
Any other ideas on how to get it permanently to work please
You mentioned that you cleaned the cache on the browser. Have you cleaned the cache on the whole tablet? Cache cleaner NG from the market or others work great for this. I don't know why it's not working - it works fine on my 10.1. Do you have the Dolphin JetPack installed, too?
Dolphin Jetpack is part of dolphin now and on by default. No need for separate download. In Dolphin Settings/Web Content, try setting Flash to Always On. When I have it set to On Demand, Flash doesn't always work.

has anyone had this problem? I go to the various internet apps to browse the net, including hte native one for android, and after i open them and they load up the home page, or any page....they shut down and close....it must be a glitch with the new rom.....any ideas to help me?
Might get more replies if you post in the correct section. Evo development is only for people who create roms

Yeah, wrong section. This would be a Q&A thread. Anyways, the best way to fix it is to do a factory reset. There are some problems reported after running the update without wiping, so definitely wipe to make sure everything is working.
remove adobe flash and reinstall it. works perfect afterwards

I just decreased my browsercache setting to the next highest under 8mb and it stopped crashing after that.i dunno if its even related.

I was also have the browser issue, and I did that, and now it doesn't crash, but it does say Adobe Flash player version 9 or high is required when I try to play a video... and if I try uninstalling flash player, it says cannot be uninstalled...
Anyone have the exact name .apk of the flash player so I can delete it via root explorer?
Fix
EDIT: Mkay if your getting problems with Flash player, set your cache on your browser to the second highest under 8MB, then install the flash.apk from here, and boom! Working flash

Better yet, just try this:
Code:
$adb shell rm -R /data/data/com.htc.flashliteplugin /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer
The syndicate rom browser is messed up, and wont let me download certain files, I was wondering if there are any solutions or if someone could attach a flashable zip of a working browser.

I'm having the same fu*kin problem.....I love this rom but the browser is really messin up...when I change to landscape sometimes it won't change.....when I play flash....youtube isn't working just force closes all the time....and where is the damn alarmclock!?
Download ByteTornado from the market, it'll let you download the stuff that you cant. You could always just use Dolphin HD.
I had this happen too so I bit the bullet wiped everything 3 times re flashed then enabled journaling with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071723 no more FC issues and now I nandroid backup once a week to make sure i have a stable version setup the way I want it at all times.
I rooted my Evo today with unrEVOked version 3.32 to get root to watch Hulu on my EVO. I've tried putting Hulu on my Evo, but all I get is the blue box on the Hulu app or Hulu needs Flash 10.1 something on the browser. I've uninstalled Flash with Titanium Backup and reboot the phone to install Flash for the hex-fix, the Samsung Capative and the flash from 10.3 to 99.99.99.9, but they all don't work. Can someone please help me get Hulu to work on my HTC Evo Stock rom with 3.70.651.1 firmware?
i dug this apk's up here on xda, i forgot where
Using titanium scroll to your current flash player, wipe data then uninstall. Now go to your file manager (root explorer, astro etc..) install modified flash then HULU.apk.
It should work. From HULU app choose a vid, hit hour glass/white screen, wait, then it should start playing.
to view HULU site (better IMHO, easier to navigate) from stock browser type, about:debug ,then enter then menu, more, settings change UA string to desktop.
should be good to go
It's doesn't work for my phone. I get the Blue Question Mark box when I click on a video link and when I search for a video it says my flash need to be updated. I did everything you told me to do.

Try this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794512&page=21
It does work and has quite a while . The hulu apk requires task killer to shut it off.
The hulu web site works as is.
^^ try that. it may be that the old version of flash isn't being fully removed.
Thanks Willy900Wonka and Jalai. Willy you help me with my problem, and Jalai you were correct with the problem to. You both gave me the solution to the problem I needed for Hulu to work. Thanks!
What was the solution?
Details please.
Edit:
Found solution for 10.3 and hulu.apk.
1. Use root uninstaller to uninstall flash player
2. Use root uninstaller to uninstall flash lite. (After 4 months, finally notice that it was still installed)
3. Go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications>All> locate all of your browsers and clear cache, clear info and force stop app.
4. Install hacked 10.3 or whatever you want, then install hulu.apk (no link to files google them)
5. Do not restart phone
6. Open stock browser
7. Type "about:debug" in URL, then hit enter
8. Go to menu>settings and set "UAString" to "Desktop" (if you don't see UAString, repeat 7 & 8)
9. Exit back to browser, go to a full webpage. (ex: http://www.google.com)
10. Repeat step 7 and Clear all the following; all cookie data, cache, history, form data, password, location access.
11. Exit back to browser
12. finally go to hulu and test it out
If this helps any one please hit the thank you button.
Uninstall flash by Titanium Backup and install the 10.2. flash player modded.
Will using the modified Flash apk stop my Netflix App from working?
It shouldn't. I haven't had any problems. Unless you are using a gingerbread ROM.

I will try it
Hi, everyone; adding to the flood of questions...
I've been having some issues after a reboot lately:
- a couple of my apps will disappear. Namely Line Runner and the Merriam Webster Dictionary. I did some searching on this earlier and people who have had similar problems said it was due to the apps being installed on SD. I moved them to the phone, which seemed to solve the problem, but:
- rebooting also seems to make me lose my latest Google Search and Maps updates. The market will prompt me to update these. These apps are already on the phone, so no clue how to fix that one. But the most annoying thing is:
- after reboot, several of my game apps will force close when I try to open them. It seems like it's the more processor-intense ones: Pew Pew, Osmos, Anomaly, World of Goo. I thought maybe it was because of the undervolting/underclocking settings I have (from GideonX), but the apps work fine (running quite smoothly) after I install them, as long as I don't reboot. As soon as I reboot, if I try to open them again I get FC. If I uninstall then reinstall, they run fine again.
Any ideas? I'm running Juggernaut 4.1 with faux's 009u kernel and, as I said above, Gideon's script. I tried one reboot back to faux's stock clock/voltage settings, but I still got FCs on the apps. Granted, I didn't try it again or give it time to settle in or anything.
Any thoughts, folks? Thanks!
fix permissions? fresh wipe and install? clear cache? fiddle around
Ah, forgot to mention. Tried all of the above (fix permissions, clear cache, reflashed ROM, even recovered to my pre-custom ROM backup and reflashed from there).
I did some more testing on this, and I think I've narrowed down the problem. I flashed back to stock voltage/clock settings under faux's kernel, then reinstalled one of the apps I had issues with (Osmos). Upon reboot it still ran okay. So it seems I won't get force closes after reboot IF the app was installed under stock settings.
Does anyone know why undervolting and/or underclocking would cause apps to force close only after reboot?
EDIT:
Well, never mind. I did some more testing, and what I thought worked last time didn't work again. Must have just gotten lucky that time. Sigh.
Try wiping your phone with darksides super wipe and clean flash a rom. Check the md5 sums to make sure youre not installing a bad download

Oh, wow, didn't even know about the existence of that tool. Will definitely give that a try when I have some free time this weekend. Hopefully I can report back with positive news.
Thanks!
Don't want to count my chickens, but using super wipe seems to have done the trick so far! Using super wipe before flashing Jugg 5.0 seems to have gotten rid of my problem of FC apps.
Thanks again!
I've disabled lots of apps I won't use - great feature, but I want to re-enable the stock browser to use it's download video feature.
Out of the whole list it's the only one that hasn't got a highlighted, 'pressable' enable button??
I tried uninstalling the Firefox Beta thinking it might ask what browser I wanted to use but no go.
Anybody got any idea please?

i had this too. but i had to do factory reset anyway, so that solved the problem. but otherwise i couldn't find a solution of how to re-enable stock browser
I couldn't even disable the stock browser so can't help there, but I could in 1.28
Ah... it's Eddy Elevate Didn't get an answer over there on the new help section so thought I'd risk it on here!
I think I'll just stick with Firefox, I really don't want to do a factory reset just after I've got everything just as I want it. I couldn't be bothered with another restore
Unless anyone else has an answer....
There must be a way of doing it, perhaps some sort of adb command?
