Hey! I'm looking for the service manual for T889 so I can repair the correct chip pieces on the motherboard to fix my "no sim inserted issue". No, it's not the sim tray, its one of the chips relative to the sim tray and I need to figure out which one! Thanks again!

Dear all
I bought a phone which is SHARP SOFTBANK SH934 from Japan. The problem is when i bring back to my country - Malaysia. I notice that this phone cannot detect the network right after i changed to the local SIM card.
I have search through the websites and videos. Most of them are use another sim card with a chip on it that you attach to your GSM sim card and insert into the phone. It's called either a 'Hypersim' or a 'Turbosim'. But this thing is costly.
Does anyone know the another way to settle this problem?
Very much appreciate!!
does anyone know?
hope to get help deeply..
Anyone bought a SIM Tray for Galaxy Nexus GSM model and replaced on their own. I couldn't find a replacement sim tray available in ebay or a do it yourself guide. Appreciate if anyone has successfully replaced it and let me know where to get it.
I will try call Samsung US but I think they wont provide warranty for international phones, meanwhile please let me know if you have suggestions on how to replace the damaged SIM card tray.

Never mind....called samsung and they opened a repair request and sent me a shipping label. Since this was an IO device i think they cover under warranty, i was not positive but good that it is covered under warranty
Hi. Been searching the forum but couldnt find any related posts.Sry if im wrong. I have a galaxy nexus and bla bla after a while i changed from a normal sim to micro sim,so i bought a "connector" or so,to adjust the size, put it in the sim slot of my nexus, but, there was some resistance...so eventually the phone didnt recognize the sim,and i noticed that i broke a litte connector piece in the sim slot( three litte things, one is broken now); so the phone wont recognize my sim. Anyone has any idea if there is smth i can do for myself to fix it? Or where i could go(shop for mobile phones etc) ,and an estimate on how much that might cost?
Thanks in advance
cheers

I lost my P3XL on a accident and recently, after 8 weeks, I got it back when someone found it laying in a Bush near the place where the accident happened - it's summer time fortunately and except a little dirt the device is fine, everything is working and no water damage!
The person who found it saw the emergency information and brought it to my address, big luck!!! 8 weeks outside, 3 times heavy rain, the fabric case it had was moulding but the device itself is just fine, crazy!
When the device was lost I locked the Sim inside the device via the provider's homepage, so I got a replacement SIM a little while later... The usual stuff what people do in situations like this
Now the problem I have is the new Sim, the provider told me that it's a new generation of Sim and the module on the Sim looks different, it's silver and the module (chip on the Sim card) has a different setup, the lines are very different! According to the provider (O2 germany) the Sim uses less electricity than the previous generation and unfortunately it's not detected by my device at all, no reaction, nothing, like there's no Sim inside...
- I reseted the network settings
- factory reseted
- upgrade to Android R
Nothing helped, however the Sim is detected immediately by my 3 other Android devices and the Pixel detects all 4 Sim cards I tried, it's only the one Sim I have a contract with that makes issues. The provider sent a new replacement Sim which looks exactly like the previous one and is also not detected.
I don't think it's in relation to the weeks it was laying outside as it's only this specific Sim card, again, the card works in all others device and the Pixel 3 XL detects all other Sim cards I tried...
I luckily found a provider that offers eSim so I could register at least the virtual Sim to make calls and have data (I wanted something that is prepaid and where I can leave every month and is not to expensive, it's 'simquadrat' now)...
It's like the hardware is not capable to detect certain Sim cards with a specific module (chip on the Sim).
Any ideas, someone else with this specific issue?
Interesting problem. Do you think the provider has blacklisted your device on their network due to the supposed loss of the phone? The sim needs to detect the IMEI and perhaps that's become the issue?
