Why don't go search for google first?
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7105
Well of course i did that.
samsung-updates was on of my first side to look in, but it don't contain the ROM for N7105XXDLK7
Traveled the net for 3 hours.
So where else to go ?
Best regards.

did you try www . sammobile.com/firmwares/2/
Hello
Maybe I misunderstood something.
When I look under "Settings" - "About Phone" and look under the Baseband version I read: N7105XXDLK7
Now when I want Samsung Original Software back at it again it might be a completely different ROM I should be looking for.
ROM must support Danish.
The phone is a Samsung (GT-N7105) LTE
The phone is Rooted and there's Team Win Recovery Project v. 2.7.0.2 installed on it.
Yes, I'm a little rookie in this area
Best regards
Jan

Last night I tried rooting my 12 days old N7100 (Note 2). I succeeded, but somehow neither of my 2 SIMs were recognized anymore.
Since then I've tried many different custom ROMs (cyanogen, omega, hypernote...), all with the same result, "No SIM".
I've been flashing most of this through heimdall on OSX. I also installed some ROMs through CWM.
I learnt that my phone is an ALJ3 and I tried the stock ROM for that. And also for some other models.
Only one of the stock ROMs actually gets past the SAMSUNG logo, and that one also says "No SIM".
It almost seems as if Samsung built in some feature that wrecks the phone if you try to root it.
I'm not sure what I could try next except for giving up, buying a new phone (probably not a Samsung) and using this N7100 as a wifi-only tablet.
Meanwhile I found a long list of ROMs for the N7100 at grantbarker dot com - it'll take me a lot of time to try all of them. Is there any one that is more likely to give me a working SIM again?

Sorry to hear that mate, I know you are in a tight situation. Before flashing various roms, did you take the backup of the EFS partition by chance??? If yes, then try restoring it. If not, then go to the posted mentioned below, its a kinda rescue firmware with all parts of the firmware intact.

This just might save your day if you haven't already tried this.

I already got "No SIM" at a point where I had not touched the SIM.
Same problem. Please help!
Sorry I am a toal noob to posting here.
But I am having the same problem!
I am having the accidentally installed omega rom for Verizon, I have att. Everything loaded but it wouldn't detect my sim. So I cleared caches and installed notorious prime but still no sim.
I then did a restore from the clockwork backup and still no sim.
Any help would be highly appreciated!
I'm thinking I might have messed up my kernel or fried my sim somehow?

Try the SIM in another phone use a MicroSIM to normal SIM converter if needed.
Both the micro SIMs I have work in other phones.
Installing a ROM usually also overwrites the kernel, from what I learned the SIM related stuff is in modem.bin, baseband or something similar. (You can unzip the zip and then untar the .tar.md5, which is a plain .tar file actually. That will usually give you a bunch of .img files, and modem.bin.)

Thank you for the response.

Well. I found your problem. Either you've flashed an i317 firmware on your n7100; or you've flashed an n7100 firmware on your i317. Find your model number, and use ODIN to flash the appropriate firmware. DO NOT USE CWM OR A CUSTOM FIRMWARE! RETURN TO WORKING STOCK VIA ODIN FIRST, THEN YOU CAN WORRY ABOUT ROOTING AND CWM!! AND DON'T TICK "REFORMAT" IN ODIN!! THAT'S A NO NO!! Use ExynosAbuse to root if you want. ROM Manager can give you CWM... I think. Appropriate firmwares are listed below.
If you've never used ODIN before, download it and Kies or current Samsung drivers on a Windows machine and follow Dr. Ketan's guide for flashing. It works a treat!
SGH-I317: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/181184536/fa1bbef/I317UCALJ2_I317ATTALJ2_ATT.zip.html
GT-N7100: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/185548129/fba59f8/N7100XXDLL4_N7100OXADLL4_XEF.zip.html
HINT: If you bought your Note II from AT&T in the United States, it's an SGH-I317, and you screwed up when you either flashed a GT-N7100 ROM, or at least a GT-N7100 modem. Without an exact account of what all you've done, I can't say for sure. But you definitely flashed something for the wrong device. Get back to working stock and report back.

From this it seems that an XXALJ3 ROM with an ALJ2 radio would do it.
So I thought N7100XXALJ3_N7100OXEALJ2_SER.zip would work but it didn't.
I also tried N7100XXALJ3_N7100OLBALJ3_XME.zip before.
I got the above information by going back to Hyper Note, as none of the stock ROMs has worked so far (except for the first of course..)
By the way, I bought this device in Germany.
I hope someone can give me some hints on how to continue, otherwise I'll have to head back to the store...
Thank you!
IT WORKED!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SENDING ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!
Yes indeed I used a rom for the gt-n700, I have the sgh-i317.
One thing I am still confused about is why my CWM back up didn't resolve this? Nor did the noteorious rom...
Oh and I was having a lot of problems downloading from hotfile, stockroms dot net works much better (not limited download speeds).
Now I'm off to root and get NOTEorious rom on there!!
"note2nosim" find the correct firmware on stockroms .net (check the model name/number under battery)
Hopefully this will help otheres with this issue!

Your backup didn't take care of your problem because CWM doesn't backup or restore your modem. As for downloading stock ROMs, I'd just live with the speeds available via HotFile. SamMobile only ever uses HotFile and there is no more credible stock firmware source than SamMobile. Best of luck with your Note II. In the future, get your ROMs and support in the i317 forum here on XDA. There's no better source for ROMs, support, and device info.

Okay. ODIN-flash it completely back to stock. Don't flash recovery. Don't root. You can use the n7100 ROM I posted earlier. It's the latest. After flashing back to stock, boot into stock recovery and do a full wipe. Then reboot. Report back after you've done that.

Is there a way to do this with heimdall?
Would this be enough?

Happy it worked for you.
Under the battery it says
MODEL: GT-N7100
FCC ID: A3LGTN7100
SSN: -N7100GSMH
On stockroms.net that would give me N7100XXALJ3_N7100DBTALJ2_DBT.zip, which kinda matches my AP/CP/CSC strings.
I'll probably first try N7100XXDLL4_N7100OXADLL4_XEF.zip, as suggested by Mister_Mxyzptlk.
(Also because I already started downloading this _XEF file with hotfile.)

I did this, with N7100XXDLL4_N7100OXADLL4_XEF, it doesn't get past the bluish "SAMSUNG".
And now also no luck with the N7100XXALJ3_N7100DBTALJ2_DBT ROM.
Is there a way to see why it stalls at the SAMSUNG logo?
OK, so bear with me, as I haven't rooted a phone is quite a while, and am having trouble locating just what I need. My goal is strictly to root the phone, I don't necessarily want to move off my os, as I am happy with it (Jellybean 4.1.2). If that is required, my apologies for being so uninformed on the process.
Here is my phone info:
Samsung Galaxy SII SCH-R760X (Carolina West Wireless is the carrier, but my recent rom stated that it was CDMA generic).
Android Ver = 4.1.2
Build = JZO54K.SCH-R760X.GB28
Kernel = 3.0.31-980103
Hardware version = H:R760.01 K.Q
I have tried to find an updated version of CF-ROOT, or something similar...but open to suggestions.
Thanks!

I saw this one, but kind of assumed it would overwrite my updated rom. Since I still have the updater for jellybean (from Carolina West), I guess I can always go back to the way it is now if I don't care for it...so I will give it a shot. Thanks for the info! I appreciate it.

That didn't work out for me. Took a while to locate a good link for the kernel, but it seems to load fine with Odin, but I get the startup screen with a yellow triangle, and it doesn't move past that. I had my doubts as it seemed to be older than my current os/etc., but gave it a shot anyhow. I think the kernel is the only thing I need (as I only need root, not the custom rom, unless I have to)...so if I can get that working, all will be great. Thanks in advance for any additional direction.
Hi. Dont jump on me for those questions but couldnt find anything here on xda nor google helped me.
So here it is.
Just bought my Note 8. GT-N5110. It has Android 4.1.2 and build version JZO54K.N5110XXBMD1. Not rooted
As I know 4.2.2 is available I wanted to update. But OTA says I am up to date.
I tried then Kies. I have all the drivers uptodate and Kies version uptodate as well. When I connect my Note it is recognized but it seems that Kies doesnt read everything what it should.
It doesnt show the firmware version at all.
When I am trying to check for firmware updates all I get is mssg:
GT-N5110 does not support initialising.
I also tried sammobile. But cuz I couldnt determine which version of Note 8 I have and didnt know which firmware to pick up and installed their apk.
It should check for me everything but I am getting only
Model GT-N5110
Product code. - nothing
PDA N5110XXBMD1
CSC N5110CCBMD1
Modem - nothing
After hitting GET LATEST receiving only mssg - No info foun for the provided firmware.
So my questions are:
- How can I determine is the firmware update available for my Note or not yet?
- How can I determine which version of Note do I have? I bought it on amazon.co.uk so I think it is European version but are there country specific version as well for WIFI only model?
- Which firmware should I download from sammobile to stay "legal" lets say. UK? Dont want to root at the moment.
Any help really appreciated.
cheers

Hi.
I have the same version. (Settings, System, About (or something like that at the bottom) and then in the buildnumber there is the version.
Mine is rooted so i can't do OTA and it doesn't find an update.
I guess since there isn't any 4.2.2 version on sammobile, there doesnt exist any yet for our build.
Greetings
Chris
Thanks for that.
Decided to root so wont worry anymore about OTA or KIES updates.

From this link you can get to know about the latest available firmware for your device Model & Product Code. See image 1.
And this link will give you info about all the firmware released for the same. See image 2.
Is the tablet you bought is a used one? Because if it is brand new, then the PDA should be N5110XXBMC9, which is the first release. Also missing Product code can mean something very wrong.

The closet i could find is this..

You could install this and remove nothing and install non of the addons and be pretty close to stock.

I'm hoping to restore the tablet to factory stock! So ideally I need a link to the official Samsung UK ROM and as I said I can find every variant but not UK.
As a last resort! What would happen if I installed a Different countries ROM on my tablet ? Would it just not be compatible?
www(.)sammobile.com/firmwares/
just enter your model number and region on the webpage.
If you're flashing official stock rom, it doesn't matter what country it is, there could be just different bloatware.

Download that and checked the CSC. By default it is set to NEE (Sweden) so thats not the BTU (UK) version.
It seems to work OK though. Better than the custom Rom I've had. Any implications in terms of updates and stuff like that as a result of potentially having a NON UK variant of the software?

hey i know you might be thinking i ask alot of questions but you are the only one who is replying to me here but im stuck in a big problem if you could help me i would be really grate full so what happened was, i bought a note 3 recently it had a jackyaway rom installed by its previous owner it was with jelly bean software, now i want to upgrade my note 3 to 4.4 kitkat but i cant upgrade as it is rooted and has a kernel jackyaway installed. i thought of flashing a note 3 stock rom from the net on to the device but each device has its own build number, i tried checking for my build number in settings but its original build number is changed and its showing me jackyaway written over there no build number, its not on its box and not on the manual. what shall i do i wanna go to stock rom and then upgrade to 4.4 there are no backups also made by the previous owner what should i do?, please be brief i dont want to wreck this device
THANKYOU!!!
what i am sure about
-)the device is rooted my note
-)the buildnumber is hidden or changed to jackyaway in caps
-)i went to sammobile to search for my device which is note 3 n9005 but each firmware over their has a different build number
-)sincerely
