Can anyone recommend an inexpensive dock for Nexus 5 with built-in USB charging? I need one for my office where phone stands most of the time in dock unless I need to use it. I currently have a cheapo dock for Samsung Galaxy Nexus (bought for like $5) but it does not fit N5 and USB connector on N5 is turned around.
What I would like is something similar - form-fitting, affordable, unobtrusive, stable to use phone while in dock and with built-in charging.
Any recommendations would be welcomed.
It's too soon for bespoke docks and the universal ones don't work for the reason you mentioned. I'm checking every day for the Kidigi dock that will come to market but it's not on sale yet.
An alternative is to buy a desk stand and plug in a charging cable as normal.
I hope Kidigi know it too... Look at the Dock, the USB Connector is not in the right direction.

I'm sure they'll get it right. That's the one i'm waiting for btw. I really like the look of it so i hope it's out soon. I did drop them an email asking when we might expect it but haven't heard back yet.

I am curious has anyone tried using a wireless charging add on and know if it works properly?
I'm a writer for Qiwireless.com and I use my Mi3 with a universal wireless charging receiver to charge it.

Note, WITH a receiver. A receiver is a piece of hardware which sits under the base of the phone, and is connected to the charging circuit. Just google the term.
You'd have to be really motivated to take your phone apart, just to attach that. Without considering the space that module would need vs the available space inside the phone, which is pretty slim to start with. Actually with a metal phone back, I believe the module would have to sit outside of the phone, between the plastic cover and the back - so the phone back would not be flat.
I have had a Nexus 4 with wireless charging for the last 2 years, and I rarely use the wireless charger I bought:
- charges slower than a wall charger
- if you pick the phone up - as we all do - you stop charging and additionally multiply the number of charging cycles.
Cables are not as cool as a Qi pad, but a Qi pad also needs its cable...
Anyway, out of the box, the mi3 doesn't do wireless charging - just confirmed that with my wireless charger

That supports wireless charging? I use wireless charging at home and at work on a pair of samsung QI-compatible fast chargers, but can't find a case that supports it while still in the case. I'm guessing because the ring interferes with the coils and it's probably also too thick.
Any advice would be gratefully accepted.
O.k so i am looking for a Fast Charge wireless car charger for my phone and car.
Samsung used to make one, however it seems to have been discontinued. I also believe it may not have been a fast charge cradle and just a standard charge.
I like to keep things safe so i would like to get an original Samsung one, if there is one available.
If not could anybody point me in the right direction as to what i am looking for, possibly a different make but with the same specs?

I have the Samsung S3 watch which only allow wireless charging and I bought the OP7 knowing that it doesn't have wireless charging option, but I would like to have a dock station for both and I was unable to find a **** station or something similar that allow me to have charging both devices.
Anyone find something useful to get both together?

Buy a wireless charging pad, stick it into your oneplus and put a case over it. Then you can wirelessly charge both devices

Thanks for the tip, bu before to add something "permanent" to the phone I would prefer to have something that fit my situation, but if nobody has seen something similar could be an option but I would have to buy a solid color case too.

Not really, because in that model I have to plug the cord on every device. I'm looking for something to connect like the Apple bases where you hook the phone and something to charge the watch.
The other idea to user the add on for the phone to charge wireless would be an option but I would like to avoid something like that as I usually don't wear cases for the phone and it would be like something sticky
