I download the s5 dialer and contacts. I flashed and get a force close. Can someone post the stock dialer and contacts. Or what to do to stop the force close.

I had working on v8. I just flashed to v9 which I'm on and didn't take. I will get a working 1 shortly.

My mistake I forgot to delete Seccontats_Osup.apk and Secphone.apk. in system/priv-app It's working just fine.
I'm on Insane KitKat.

How can I go about doing this? I've tried deleting the stock Mms.apk and replacing it the stock ICS Mms.apk, then deleting dalvik and cache, but the app would freeze.

No, look. Download the messaging apk you want. Copy it. (probably not needed but cover yo ass is my standard) now use root explorer to delete the stock messanger. Then place your app in the system/app folder. Go to it there and open it. Install it. (hit yes when it says replace if it does.) probably dont need to but reboot your phone after that. Just make you feel like you made a big move. Then open your messenger. If it dont work pm me. If it does then thanks are in order!! happy texting!

Even after going into S voice setting and changing the transition it still lags, so my question is, is that normal? Either way, is there a way to reduce that lag even further?

Probably depending on other apps running in the background?
Go into your "development" settings and set your animation toggles to "off"...
That may help a bit....g

Fastest, most responsive phone I have ever used. The only lag I experience regularly, is when I open the widget menu in the app drawer. It takes a few seconds to load and freezes if I swipe before it's done. Stupidly frustrating when the rest of the machine is so goddamn smooth!

Also, if it is background programs, they can use the setting in"development" to limit the number of background tasks to 3 or 4 and it should help.

Any flashable zip for aosp messaging? I'm currently running alpha 8 and jest used to aosp from my s3 and haven't found a flashable zip that works yes for the s4

It's fully functional? I did manage to get one to partially work last night the only problem I ran into is that you can't send emojis. It looks like they're sending but the person on the other end is receiving ** instead of the emoji. I can receive them fine though, they just wont send properly

This one will only work on MEA firmware and up. So it won't work on MDL based roms.

Hello, I'm running CM 11 and have backed up via titanium backup and via my recovery, if i wipe my device and install another rom and restore it to the current backup, will my device be mostly the same? What I'm wondering is, will all my messages and so be saved? Also i have a lot of my apps and data on an sd card, if i remove the sd card wipe phone, then out it back in, will it all be the same or will i face issues? Thanks in advance

Just flash in recovery tested and working may work on other NE2 roms will break theme if themed as classic is stock for now.
Also will updating this for priest punch when it gets a update if its not included.
