Try this:
In CWM
- Clear cache
- Clear dalvik
- reset permissions
In the OS
- clear cache on the market app
- if needed push a new vending.apk to the phone
- if needed clear data & cache and re-enter your email info.
Try to see what's the best fix for you. If nothing works you'll need to reflash the ROM.
Is the mod you flashed nociq compatible?

I've noticed most apps I install won't show up in the app drawer until after I reboot the phone. I am on stock att 4.0.4. Anyone else having this issue and know of a way to fix it?

mcazares7,
I would try clearing the CACHE for the Home Launcher your using (assuming it's Touch Wiz Stock built in launcher in your case) If that doesn't work, then go one further and RESET the launcher....in which case, you will lose any customizations. If that fails, clear system cache and dalvik cache via CWM.
I'm using FullySamsung 1.0.1. + FIX. As soon as I select Settings> Language and Input, Settings panel crashes. Before flashing the FIX zip, I'm able to access Language & Input from Settings panel. Any suggestions is highly appreciated. Do I need to clear Dalvik Cache after flashing the base ROM and before flashing the FIX?
Go into menu then manage apps and see if you can clear cache for settings there then try to reopen. If that don't work try flashing the fix again with wiping cache and dalvik see if that solves it.

Thanks for the reply Reinaldo. Tried rebooting into recovery and first wiped cache then cache + dalvik. Then wiped dalvik cache. Then flashed the fix again and reboot. Still the same issue with settings panel. Any more suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?

I use link2sd on my Xperia Play (NXT ROM) and thought I'd wipe my dalvik cache in CWM. After doing so however, my phone booted but displayed the low memory warning and some apps were missing. I rebooted again but my phone kept repeating my boot animation and didn't boot. I restored a recent nandroid backup but was wondering if anyone know why this happened? Also, is there a way to restore only my dalvik cache from a nandroid and get things to normal?
Thanks

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
AW: Wiping dalvik cache?
Isn't there normally an option in CWM for this under Backup/Restore if you choose something like Custom Restore?

I don't think there is. You'd have to restore data completely if you want to restore the dalvik cache i think. In the end i ended up buying Titanium Backup pro and extracted my apps and data from a nandroid backup i made of the system

Only categories show, and search doesnt work.
I've completely cleared all data, reverted to stock OS, rerooted and reinstalled twrp, tried different Google Accounts, cleared cache, everything i could think of.
Since you have had this problem with multiple ROMs I'm going to guess.... User error?
Did you wipe system, data and caches before installing?
