BAMF is now using private signing keys. This means other system mods from other devs will not work with this rom, most likely, unless signed with our key. This was a necessary evil to make the rom more secure. It will help prevent a malicious application from gaining system control and getting access to sensitive data. Themers and modders that work with the team can contact us for these private keys. We cannot allow for public availability for obvious reasons, however. For those we do give the keys to, if they are leaked, we will simply change the key and give nobody access. So please respect our wishes to keep them private. The signing of this rom and apps MAY require a wipe to properly install.
Changelog, kernel:
----------
Overclocked to 1.35ghz, with stock speed steps.
Defaults to 1.2ghz
Tweaked deadline and CFS
charging while off works (Thanks Fabolous, Bixie)

Before I wipe everything to try this, is there any control provided over the search widget on the home screen? I know I'm in the minority, but I really like having it and don't want to give it up. I'd flash a mod over it to bring back the stock launcher, but by the sound of things, it looks like I can't with these private key files.

Basically you can use 2 windows side by side like watch a video and browse the net......ergo a true multitasking system.
Our nexus 7 has a bigger screen real estate and the only limiting factor i see is the availability of 1GB of RAM.But if anyone can make it work, then it is the devs.
So if any dev is Interested.....here is a link to a thread where the op has found all the goodies required for this port on the original note(the work there has just begun ::silly

Or you can check this out.
Tablets are big. Smartphone apps are small. This would seem to present an obvious answer to the many, many Android apps that scale up to massive resolutions instead of adjusting their total user interface Ice Cream Sandwich-style. But no, apps form unconcerned or merely oblivious developers continue to scale up, as if someone ran over an Android smartphone with a steamroller. Enter Cornerstone, a method for managing windows of apps on Android, jut like on Linux, OS X and, uh, Windows.

I'm surprised there's no aosp project like this already. I'm sure it relies heavily on the touchwiz framework so it probably can't be ported.
I've been using popup browser which works pretty well. I'd definitely love to see this feature though.
This and the Quick Apps feature is amazing.
The original Transformer had ported over the Quick Apps feature. The dev is gone and I haven't see it since. The multipane solution would ease multitasking with work projects.
from first day i get a nexus 7 i wanted multiwindow port to it, every single day ive googling it and today i find this thread, I WAAAAAANT THAT PORT !!! xDDD

Even lg has this feature on the optimus g.not sure what its called exactly.there has to be a dev thread somewhere for this.I mean we have two companies using this feature.on the optimus g we can adjust the transparency of the other window.it is just like the popup feature on the dice player

First things first. We do NOT yet have permission from our source to release this build. However, we do have permission to post the testing results as well as screenshots.
If and when we do receive permission to release the build it will be posted here.
In the meantime we've tried to test everything we can possibly think of and post the results here. We'll update as we find more.
Please feel free to ask questions! We'll answer all that we can (except for the, "Can you sneak me a copy early" question ).
Proceed to Post 2 for screenshots and Post 3 for findings.
Enjoy!

What we've discovered:
Older modems not compatible with FK09. You will lose 3G and 4G without the FK09 modem installed.
Several apps needing updates (Google Play Books, Google Play Magazines, Google Play Music, Google+, Maps, NASCAR, Sprint TV & Movies, YouTube, mSpot Radio, Sprint Music Plus and Telenav).
Working Google Now!
Cob can finally rejoice! The Recent Apps display bug is finally fixed!
Loads of new Motion options!
TW Launcher massively updated!
Default keyboard has Swype like support (and in my opinion is better than the 4.2 Android KB!).
Connections optimizer is back (but it's oddly not as invasive or as much of a bother as before).
LOADS of Lock Screen options!
LED control options.
Blocking mode (like a customizable airplane mode and call blocker in one).
Battery percentage display off by default. When enabled it shows to the left of the battery rather than on top of the battery (see screenshots).
Long press on toggle takes you to the corresponding settings menu.
Extended Power Menu built in (little bit different from what you'd see on a custom ROM)
More to come!
Can't wait, keep us updated

Also, if/when this is released, will the modem be released as well?

Do you know if fk09 modem will work with other builds?

More updates:
1) Reminder that Flash isn't supported.
2) TB working fine
3) Bloat no longer allowed to uninstall without another app like TB. You can disable it, which does like TB's freeze function.
4) On the version, tap like you did with ICS and get one JB. Do a palm swipe from L to R on the top and get a bunch of JBs. You can play around with them too.
5) Calendar obviously redone as shown in screenie
6) Accuweather widget not resizeable.
7) AP widget gone, replaced with Yahoo News.
8) LED Indicator options! (See screenshot for options!)
9) Task manager bug non-existent. Looks the same as the FJ10 screenie I posted before.

For those who keep sending PM's and hitting us up on Talk, PLEASE STOP!!!
We have given our word to our sources that we will not be posting this build without their go ahead. It would be a gross violation of their trust for us to send it out to anyone other than those we have been told that we can. We don't want to lose their trust and force everyone else to suffer the consequences when we lose the source of these leaks.
We hope to be able to post it soon though!
Dude, you guys rule! (Wasn't expecting this post- How many E4GT users are left here? I keep thinking- the threads look dead lately.) I am holding out till Sprint gets the S4 or another Nexus device, so it is wonderful to know we at least are getting 4.1.2, while the wait is ongoing. I can't wait to see what the Dev's do with it- take your time though... no rush here- take time for your family and loved ones for da holidays and keep having fun!

Calc app works perfectly with multi window....
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
If you guys are talking about the stock app, how can you say it works perfectly when the dimensions of the app force you to use more than three quarters of the screen to use it? Could you recommend one that uses half the screen, because if I am expected to give up so much real estate for it, it would be better to completely switch from one app to another. I had thought the whole idea of multitasking was to do more than one thing at a time.
EDIT
Honestly, if you guys are just attempting to be rude, I'd rather not have the help because I was intending to get answers to a serious question.
If the video player that comes stock didn't show the full dimensions of the movie but "worked perfectly" with multi window by merely running and displaying half of the screen, I doubt that would be good enough for you. Of course, you could just expand the window to get more of the picture, but that defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

I second aircal, I use it on jellybam (no multi-window as it is AOSP) but floating calc = better the multi-window calc since you can have 3 things up at a time then lol.
Of course the calc is not super feature rich, but for general math it is good enough for me.

Thanks. With the dev name, I was able to find it. Without it it seemed as though you were talking about the stock and I didn't know any better. It was pretty far down the list, but I found it and I will try it out. The screen shot surely looks much more promising then the stock one on our devices. The Air also looks to have even greater utility and I will give it a look as well. Thanks again.
