Hi All,
Customs is being a nuisance and asking for the Declaration of conformity (Certificate of compliance) for EU for my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Ed. Model SM-P600 I tried emailing Samsung UK but they're taking ages to reply. Has anyone looked for this document before? Or knows where to find it? There's nothing on the product website for either UK or US
Grateful if anyone can help.
Thanks!

No one?
I got a reply from Samsung UK saying
Hello,
Thank you for your email. Your customer reference number is 2115524381.
In regards to the EU compliance to radio emissions, all of our devices have MAC stamp stamped on the back explaining the standard in regards to whether it can be used within the EU or not.
In addition to that, the document of conformity will need to be provided by your retailer whom you bough the device off.
We hope this information was useful.

So... maybe if someone in the US/UK could ask a known retailer that'd be just great!
@Airbag888 I tried researching online for about 30mins but found nothing.
I think you need to contact the person you bought the tablet off and get them to provide you the document.

Lol, thanks for trying. According to samsung's email the retailer should have the Certificate of Conformity or Declaration of Conformity. I think there's a few names. It's w/e that says this equipment is in conformance with EU regulations for telecomunications and lists the standards it adheres to.

I just realized one thing I'll miss about my Transformer is having a physically connected keyboard that I can use while travelling by plane. From what I've read Bluetooth keyboards are a no-no for in flight usage. Has anyone used a USB connected mini-keyboard using the Samsung USB adapter? I also know Samsung will be coming out (from what I've read here) with a keyboard dock but it's not available yet. I thought I also read somewhere that the Tab 10.1 dock will work with the Note 10.1.
Has anyone had any luck or a good setup for using an in-flight keyboard setup for the Note 10.1?
Hello.
I use this one http://www.logitech.com/fr-fr/mice-pointers/mice-keyboard-combos/6229
Works perfectly, both mice and keyboard .

Exactly. Might not be BT but anything wireless shouldn't be used in flight.

I'm ready to order one! Don't even care about battery and ports on the Asus one I had. Sure it was nice but I've lived without them just fine. Just need a real hardware keyboard for travel.

Ok, I know everyone will probably gag on this but...
As I was reading this thread, I went upstairs and obsconded (kids dont use it, WTH) the WII Usb KB and connected it. Works fantastic!
If you have one laying around... it may solve your want.
I picked up the official Samsung keyboard dock last week, it works nicely for that purpose!
http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/...es/EKD-K14AWEGSTD?subsubtype=other-multimedia
Unfortunately, it's expensive and not available in most stores yet. Picked it up from the Samsung store in Sydney CBD.
Just so you know, Australia and USA both use the US keyboard layout (as opposed to the UK, which uses the UK layout), so maybe that could help you guys in the states source one of these? You won't have a messed up layout like you would ordering from the UK. Then again, I don't know any Australian place offering these for shipping internationally so that could be moot.

Very frustrating to not have these available for purchase in the US.
Is it possible to close it? Like the transformer or a regular laptop? Dont feel like not being able to close it..
An extra battery would be nice though incase of very long flights or train/car rides..
It doesn't hinge so you can't "fold" it closed like a regular laptop. Instead you just pull it out of the dock.
I know it has been discussed but I wanted to share my work. Not beautiful but it works. This is the dock for the Tab 10.1 modified for use with my Note 10.1

Might be coming from China. Can't remember. Looking forward to more info. Thanks.
Before I start, Yes, I am new to the forums, and people can call me a noob if I did genuinely made a mistake posting here haha.
I was due for an upgrade on the 6th December just past. I didn't think there were two different models of this type of mobile, until I found it last week that I cannot upgrade my storage. I found out my model is an N7105 and was told that model isn't designed for rooting or whatever that Samsung guy said at the store.
I don't know if I am too late to stop this contract as I was told from Citizen Advice Bureau that I can still cancel it because it's not fit for purpose and it was false pretense.
I am quite frustrated and Annoyed due to the fact only to finding out that I cannot extend my storage nearly end of my 30 days. Wow...just wonderful!
Not only I’m stuck with this contract with 24 months on the papers, yet I am limited to space.
So, I'm in a difficult position here lol.
What can I do?
I have some pics but due to being a newbie here I can't post any links.
I've tried removing the sd card and putting it back in.
Any advice or any direction in this situation would be very helpful.
P.S. I forgot to say ‘’Happy New Year’’
Return it and get a n7100.

So I can still return it? even though it's passed 30 days on my contract? I will call them tomorrow and see what they have to say.

I didn't know you were past your 30. Your first post you did you were nearly at the end of your 30.
You may have to sell it and take a small loss.

Where do you buy it? Some places will let you return within 30 and exchange for a longer period of time.

I received it from Phones4u. They won't take it back because there's no fault with the phone itself. I could get some shop on the high street to root it and let me get access to the storage or something.

The models you're talking about are not Sprint models - Sprint has model number SPH-L900. Did you buy these and flash these over to Sprint? Or perhaps you're dealing with an international version of the Note 2?
*Edit* Yeah, see the site is UK. I'll ask a Mod to move this to the generic GT-N7100 (Note 2) forum for you so you can get the help you need. Thanks!

Hi all,
I have a Note 10.1 2014 that I bricked for good-really!-and I want to try putting a replacement mother board in. At least I assume it's the MB. Anyone know where parts might be available in the U.S.? (I can't deal with China shipping time, forget overseas at all)
Other alternative is if someone here has a damaged unit with a known good board that I could cannibalize. I'm very experienced with working on small parts, used to work in defense electronics so doing the physical replacement will go easy for me, and thanks to everyone here, I can flash the ROM, etc.
Very much appreciated if anyone can help-thanks in advance!

There is a service Jtag brick repair that fixes them for about $50 here is the link to web page http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-note-10-1-2013-jtag-brick-repair/
This link is for the GT-N8013 but they fix many models. They do international shipping and there phone number is at the top of the web page.
A video of what they do.
Hey, thanks! I just emailed them-we'll see what they say. Much appreciated!

Does anyone know if Staples ever had Galaxy tab pro 8.4? They only have the pro 12 listed on their website. I have a lot of rewards to burn at Staples and I would prefer to buy it from there, but its not even listed on their site.

Yea I did, but as usual, they weren't much useful other than that "It will be on Staples.com if our merchandise department decides to sell it."
I've never seen it. I looked at Staples a few times since release.

I'm looking for a nib for the white Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 stylus. Mine is starting to come off, and I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive one, which will work just as well as the stock nib. If anyone can direct me to a online store, or even tell me where I can find it at a store (best buy?), I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
If you still have the package, usually there are some 6 extra nibs in it, inside a small transparent bag (3 of plastic, 3 of rubber, I think)
Unfortunately, I don't have the package since I got a refurbished Note 2014. Does anyone know where I can get these nibs from? A link would be extremely helpful.
I'm sort of desperate!

Well the reviews seem OK and its nibs you're looking for. Its just nibs so even if it is a fake it shouldn't affect you. In the UK Amazon are really good with returns and things, I'm sure its the same in the US as well :good:
