Has anyone found the offical keyboard dock or standard dock for sale at their Best Buys?
I know the NY store had them at launch but has Samsung spread the love?

They were selling them here @ Our BB today 3 out of 2 BB did here. Dock and Keyboard(only these two)

I saw both the dock and keyboard at my local best buy in Northern California. They also had two belkin cases, as well as the Zagg screen protector.

I have the keyboard dock... I will post pics, video, and a semi review about it tomorrow.

I found the dock at my local stores but it seems no Florida store has the keyboard dock in stock.
I wish it came with an extra power adapter but I guess that's asking too much!
I'm also contemplating this one from Logitech:

I saw that one as well. I like how it gives you the option to view in landscape or portrait mode.
I wonder how well it works?

Im not sure. I clicked on preorder, then it took me to my cart and it said "in stock".

my best buy had them and they look good.

all I have been seeing in the 3 bestbuys I have gone to are the keyboard docks and that was as of yesterday. On Friday they had nothing in the Woodbridge NJ, Staten Island NY, and Brooklyn NY Best Buy's. I havent seen another media stand since the day I went to the tabs launch on the 8th.

I just ordered this. Best price I have seen on a lapdock. I am will be joining the Atrix forums soon as I just replaced my Inspire 4G with an Atrix. Can't wait to check out webtop and what it can do.

I ordered one! Had to pay a little extra to ship it to the Netherlands but for a $120 it still better then any deal I have seen.

I found a refurb on ebay for 87$ with free shipping I can't wait to get it and mess around. I was trying to save up for a refurb dell vostro but I needed a tooth pulled and I had to re-think about a portable computer lol

All the roms (excluding cm7) will run webtop. It's just usually NOT included in the rom. If you need webtop, Samcripp has provided webtop fruitcakes in his thread, they can be flashed with cwm.
Most roms include one of faux123's kernels. So you will more then likely have a webtop status bar that does not function. Obviously faux is working on this. I am using a 1.3 ghz kernel he provided for testing. As far as I know, it is NOT a final fix.
Faux123 also provides a stock at&t kernel in his thread, that works perfectly with webtop.

Thanks 95rr900, figures mine will be running CM7 when I get it, but I'll have to figure out which other one I want to use then, and just use an alternate launcher.
Will the AOSP rom do it? I would guess not since that's what CM7 is based on, right? has to be something based off of a moto ROM?

Anyone non US bought it successfully?
I'm from Argentina and I must tell, the price difference is dangerously huge.

AOSP will not. So far, nobody has released a ROM with WebTop that isn't Blur/stock-based.

Well I ordered it and its already on its way to me. I've not seen it listed anywhere else. They do claim its the genuine 10.1 note dock so I hope I'm happy when it arrives.

TYping on mine now ! - Arrived about an hour ago. Not as good as the Transformer Prime keyboard is my first impression, but it does keep the tab at a nice angle. Need to find away to stop the soft keyboard popping up though, thats really annoying.

Mine arrived this morning. Not bad at all seen as though I am in Holland and I ordered it from the UK around 17:00 yesterday.
Oh, and it visited Brussels on its way to me.
Unfortunately it has been delivered with a less than attached space bar, so I need to arrange a replacement.

It's a keyboard setting that tells it to pop up. Just disable that under Language and input,

Another option is to download null keyboard from the market and select it as the software keyboard and you should be good to go.

I've been waiting for this, but it looks like its already sold out.
Where are you located, and what's that store's ETA for delivery? From what I can tell on their website, they're located in the UK. I'm hoping for a US supplier of the keyboard so I don't have to wait a month and pay 2x the keyboard price to have it shipped.

It might well be worth waiting for a keyboard from the US which will have a familiar layout, rather than having to deal with the different layout of Keys on a UK spec one - take it from someone who has to use Swiss-German at work and UK at home :-&

shiiiiiiit (said in clay davis voice) what is the difference between a UK/US keyboard layout? they never mention that it is the UK version on the link i bought it from that i can find. after they sent me the shipping info though they are obviously based in the UK, which also explains the higher price.

Some keys will be in different places ( SHIFT + 4 for a $ sign ), oh and it won't work in the morning until it has had a proper mug of tea.

you can probably adjust the Settings>Language and input to appropriate language - I did this on my apple keyboard, I think the @ and " keys were mixed, fixed when I switched from Australia to USA input.

a blue-tooth keyboard is much better than a dock, specially when combine with OTG usb for a mouse, or charging, am i right?

Not if you enter any secure data. Bluetooth keyboards are banned at my employer because all of your keyboard input can be easily sniffed from a surprisingly long distance away. Plus, I don't want more batteries to worry about. The Samsung keyboard dock lets you charge while using the keyboard. I hope to hack it up a bit and embed a USB hub into it as well.

I want a smart dock will samsung ever stock them? I registered on their facebook page for the 50% but it expires on the first of the year I really hope they get it in stock by then.

I'm on the same boat. I also got a 50% off coupon and I'm waiting for this dock and the bundle of 4 or 5 didn't flip covers, and it had been or of stock for over a month.
I'm also beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to get to use my coupon, or if Samsung will ever get it together and fix their supply chain problems.

FWIW, one of the Samsung accessory team reps at CES said that if the Smart Dock does not come in stock before the codes expire, to just call them when it does come in and they will honor the coupon. May work, may not work, but at least worth a shot.

[Q] Nib for stylus

I'm looking for a nib for the white Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 stylus. Mine is starting to come off, and I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive one, which will work just as well as the stock nib. If anyone can direct me to a online store, or even tell me where I can find it at a store (best buy?), I'd appreciate it.

If you still have the package, usually there are some 6 extra nibs in it, inside a small transparent bag (3 of plastic, 3 of rubber, I think)

Unfortunately, I don't have the package since I got a refurbished Note 2014. Does anyone know where I can get these nibs from? A link would be extremely helpful.

Well the reviews seem OK and its nibs you're looking for. Its just nibs so even if it is a fake it shouldn't affect you. In the UK Amazon are really good with returns and things, I'm sure its the same in the US as well :good:
