GOOD NEWS
I read from chinese forum.
A good news for the Xperia Neo User.
U can root your Xperia Neo if u hasn't update via SEUS
therefore for 2.3.2 Neo user, use Gingerbreak ver 1.2 to root first and use OTA
to update to 2.3.3.
You successful root your Neo without unloadbootloader
For those already upgrade to 2.3.3, now we have find a way to downgrade to 2.3.2 firmware
HK version
International version
Proceed the step which show to u at the link

[Q] [q] unlockedbootloader + .42 fw want to upgrade to .64 fw

Hello,
As the title already says, I'm running .42 firmware with the 58 baseband, and my bootloader is already unlocked, can i just flash the ftf file with the .62 firmware and not brick my phone or anything like that? I haven't seen any questions on the forum about it yet and I'm afraid to brick my phone or something. I want to upgrade to the 64 baseband so i can flash the ICS Beta.
Thanks in advance

P.S. am srry fr mah crappeh inglesh iamfrom ntthrerlanderso so thanks for your understanding
And also another question hehe :x where can i find the ftf file with the 64 baseband and the 62 firmware because FXPCM9 says u need it but there's no link.
Flashing an ftf on an unlocked bootloader is totally safe, only OTA updates are bad (unless you're testpoint unlocked). The .62 firmware is here, I've confirmed it as a working link
Thanks so much for the quick reply!

If so can you please share your build.prop file or type *#*#7378423#*#* service info > software info
Phone software version

customization version ?
I dont know if flashtool 4.0.4 for arc changed build.prop.. I need it too..
Here you go!
Updated to 4.0.4 using SEUS.....Screenshots of software info attached...

Thanks for your tutorial, but in my case it ended with the message "root access denied" Is it necessary to have a rooted device to flash? I thought that this process could be executed without root.
