Improve Wi-Fi signal

Hi guys!
Excuse me before if my english is bad but I'm an italian teenager!
That's it: my Xperia Arc has a little problem.
When I'm a little away from mi access point, my Arc get a Wifi connection (limitated connectivity) and I can't use my Wifi connection.
Why can i improve my wifi range from my arc? With and iPhone and a Nokia N95 this problem didn't happen.
It's so important. I tried to follow lots o tips in androidforumdotcom but the problem still continue to afflict my phone.
PS: with the cyanogen mod did this problem disappear or?

2.3.4 is the latest so run SEUS, PCC or the Flashtool and see if the update helps.

when this "limited connectivity" appears you are CONNECTED anyway....change wifi channel mayby helps.

The device is updated. In Italy the update is not out yet!

Go to PC, open browser and go 192.168.1.1.
Or look you wifi router manual...because you need username and password to log in router settings.

i have the same problem with my wifi router ,try to install FXR WIFI FIX AND RESCUE in android market then let me know if your wifi is fixed or not

Nothing happened.. the problem continue to afflict my phone..

try to reboot phone when that affect your phone and try again..
If that dosent help you, then you should go to service center and tell them your problem

Market dont download anything on Wifi

Hi. I have unique problem. I cant download or update anything from market via WiFi. It works only via mobile data. I deleted cache and data from market app,but no succes. I also tried another WiFi, dont work. Everything via WiFi works,but this not. Dont have root. Also reinstalled Market.

Hi normally it's just a problem related to no space left, and try to check if you have enough storage to install.

Sup dude go to the play store press 3dot menu/settings/ tick/check update via WiFi only its abit of a longshot but worth ago if it don't work I recommend a settings reset if that don't work do a factory reset wipe everythink it should fix your problem
edit: If you have a firewall on phone disable it same if your using a router disable firewall or put phone in dmz mode via router settings if it works setup a static ip and exclude from firewall

I have news. It doesnt want to download only on my WiFi and in my girlfriend WiFi and on my Galaxy Tab too,so problems with rooters. I did nothing with rooters,so i dont know how it hapened. I tried change wep to wpa2,but no succes. Everything works but downloading from market no.

I also have a problem with downloading apps from google play, but i found this forum and problem is with the dns settings in router, read this and set your router according instruction : http://translate.google.com.au/tran...t+draytek&hl=en&biw=1280&bih=718&prmd=imvnsfd
Set dns to primary 8.8.8.8, secondary 8.8.4.4

[Q] Xperia Play Express Rom ICS [GSM] V5 Tethering

cannot seem to get tethering working on my sony ericsson xperia play r800i using Express Rom by imputazz. i get on pc unidentified network, and other mobile phones wont connect via my phones tethering option. using wpa2 or just wpa. any ideas? or is this feature just not supported on this rom?

Also does this Rom wipe dalvik cache on boot. It optimizes on startup everytime

Native WifiTether Hotspot Through VPN

For those having issues trying to tether the VPN data bandwidth by native hotspot, just do this:
1- Setup your wifi tether
2- Connect your device to your wifi tether web
3- Run TetherVPN.sh
This step assume:
- You are already connected through vpn and has a working internet access in your phone
- You know how to run a script
- You know the attached file is not a pdf, is a sh script

I know how to run a script! ! What I want is you should add more details
This is what I do and doesn't work for me
1-turn data on (4glte)
2-connect to vpn
3-check if im able to browse the web
4-turn on WIFi hotspot
5-connect my pc to phone tether
6-my pc not able to browse web
7-I run the script
8- try again to browse the internet at pc but not luck. ..
What im doing wrong?
If I dont connect to vpn of course my pc will connect to internet BUT I want to bypass my hotspot limite

try run the script before connect to hotspot, you must run the script with su

why 192.168.43.0 in the script.. seems that would change depending on what ips phone gets.

Can't use Mobile internet but can use texting and calling

Hey guys,
I have an Xperia ZL C6506 from Bell Aliant,
I recently tried upgrading my phone to .244, but it failed every time. I tried to restore the soft key's size because they were stunk to try to see it that worked, but I got a bootloop.
So I flashed it manually with Sony Update Service, and it worked, but I noticed when I was at a pizza shop, my mobile data didn't work.
However, I'm still able to get calls, and text messages like normal, and use my Wi-Fi.
Any ideas?

When I do this, I don't get any type of notification of it downloading, I just get a small amount of Wi-Fi usage.

Take a look at settings> wireless and networks> more> Mobile networks> access point names...
Is there anything there relative to your supplier?
