If you can not plug the mico-usb in and charge, then you may have to get another battery or a standalone battery charger.

If you got a soft brick then do a hard reset.

Im confused with the kdz method of fixing this phone, in files available they have tot files but the "installer app" requires a KDZ. what am I to do...

My note 2 doesn't bootup

I was updating to latest version of cyanogenmod through OTA and after that my phones battery just died I mean it showed 1 percent and even though I charged it, it still was running off the battery and no matter how long I charged it it just didn't boot up
I can load download mode\ recovery but I installed through odin a stock rom and still it boots up and says I have no battery and turns off even if it connected to the original samsung charger, and I can't just turn it on like with the power button I need to load recovery and then reboot.

Do you think that a battery can die just like that with no reason?
I think its a software problem and not a technical one.
does anyone have another solution?
You have good reasons to believe it's a software thing, yet you also don't.
Focus on what you are able to do at the moment.
Since your phone is just a brick now, no matter what your suspicions are, you need to test it with another battery and eliminate possibilities.
Either the rom you flashed bricked your phone, or the battery just decided to call it a life. Either way, you need a battery to test whether it did actually die, or to determine whether it's a true software issue.

Yup it could happen(at least to me). My battery can last 10hours then suddenly when I woke up in a morning my phone dead. Use charger while power on only last to samsung screen. Thought it's a softbrick so tried to reflash but not working. Luckily I have a friend with the same phone so borrow his battery
so I checked with my friends battery and it still seem to have the same problem.
so does anyone have another solution maybe?

Have you tried to clear Data/Cache? AFAIK Odin does not clear them. You can try to reset all partitions with Odin using PIT file and then without rebooting flash stock rom. Hope that helps.

[GUIDE] Bypass low battery warning on LG Mobile Tool

This might not work for you as it did not work for me but it is the only way I have been able to pass the low battery message so it might work for some. I get a connection problem after step 3
Step 1.
Download tool and LG drivers (if you don't have them) from here and here and install them normally
Step 2.
Remove battery and note down your device model and serial number. Boot phone in to download mode by switching phone off or pulling battery if soft bricked, then hold down both of the volume keys and plug in the USB data cable
Step 3.
Run LG Mobile Tool and wait for the software to tell you it recognises the handset as either being the latest software or a new update is available. Unplug the handset but keep it in download mode then in LG Mobile Tools click on options then update recovery. It will now prompt you to enter your handset details, fill out the top 2 boxes and click ok. You will soon be prompted by a message asking you to plug your handset in, plug it in then press retry. Wait EXACTLY 5 seconds (count 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi) then unplug the phone as quickly as possible! Very important, it might take a few tries to get it so just alter the speed at which you are saying Mississippi lol!. If you get the same error message about battery too low then you have failed and need to try it again. Once you have succeeded you can do either of the 2 things below:
3a. Plug phone back in immediately and wait for the file to download and flash (recommended) (I am currently trying this and will report back as soon as I can)
3b. If you are soft bricked and scared you have limited battery then don't plug it back in, pull your battery out and let the program run and it will do everything including download the required software for flashing. When the software is almost completely downloaded, boot back in to download mode and let the downloaded software flash to your phone. (might have an error at software installation this method. I couldn't get it to work I think due to the phone being disconnected for so long.)
Step 4.
MAKE SURE YOU DO A FACTORY RESET STRAIGHT AFTER THE SOFTWARE HAS INSTALLED
Step 5. (Optional)
Download the older version of FreeGee from here if you are still a bit unsure if the latest version will soft brick your handset again.
I have managed to use LG Flash Tools now, even after being affected. I would not advise trying this though, as it was an accident for me. I had the back cover off while flashing a custom rom with CWM. After the rom file was installed, I rebooted my phone from CWM. As the phone was rebooting (was on the rom boot animation) the battery fell out. After I put the battery back in the phone would load to the rom boot animation, but it would freeze on this screen and then reboot and do the same thing over and over (bootloop to animation) - I then tried to factory reset and flash the rom again, with the same thing happening again) - I then went in to restore my phone using a backup through CWM. After the restoration, then phone would still hang at boot animation and then bootloop. I retried restoring and flashing multiple roms and re root the phone with a saved zip file on my phone. None of this was working. I decided to try to use LG Flast Tools again, only this time it actually passed the low battery warning. The funny thing is, I have tried thousands of times even at 100% battery level and lower (when there was nothing wrong with my phone at all) and it has never worked. This time it did (even though I had 66% battery) and still works now, as I just tried it again.
I've tried this method but unfortunately, the update stoped..
i passed through step 3a but when installing the software, around 80%, the lg mobile support tool suddenly disappear.
i'm trying it again for the second time, i'll update after my attempt.
thanks.

HONESTLY WHY! I am starting to get so frustrated that nobody can figure this out! Surely there is somebody out there that can someone reverse the damage that FreeGee caused by way of ADB commands? I just wish I knew what the hell I was looking for
OK guys.. After exhausting all known tricks but failure I just walked into LG service centre andgot stock ROM installed. It took just ten minute for them to install.
I just though given an opportunity, I will steal their laptop n take it home..hahhha..
Anyway as I of now I am jut **** scared to o anything with the phone. I just rooted it and playing around with DPI settings using closed framework.

I deal with this situation 3 time...last time little scary with only boot to cwm ( fix with flash twrp hack by madmack and install rom )...never get same sollution to by pass low bat warning...
I think we just have to uninstall and reinstall all LG driver..restart..and keep trying with 100% batt..
May be LG decide flash or not when we connect via Lg mobile tool via internet..
Because once i have succed flash with only 20 % battery...last time i get low batt warning with 60% batt...
Once you get low batt warning it keep rejecting flash even with 100% battery..
Lol never give up trying is best sollution

sorry for my noob question.
you just walked into LG service centre? they didn't question you about how your phone got into that situation?
i'm afraid that lg might ignore my phone because i rooted and attempt to disable the scurity through freegee..
They have asked me. I just said I was trying to do factory reset n it got struck. But I am not sure if he completely beloved me. It all boils down to how friendly that guy in the counter is. After all ,for them, its just a 10 main job. No parts or labour involved. Just pushing some files.
So just go ahead n try. My phone is also rooted n flashed freegee. But I got the service.

Hi guys,
I'm facing the same problem here but with a G Pad. Can't pget past the low battery error.
I figured a way to make the mobile tool download the files but when it comes to flashing it I get the same error again.
How did you flash the file after downloading it?
Any help will be really appreciated.

Bam ... i got it!
For all with the low battery error, here is my solution (on Win8 machine):
1. Flashed E988 V5 rom with cwm
I think its editional, because i got low battery error error after i tried to flashed stock rom.
2. Flashed stock at&t rom V10g
3. Flashed E980H Panama ROM V10a
And it works, i dont get low battery error, even with ~65% battery... Maybe a try for all with same problem? :fingers-crossed:

Really bad

Hello all- I managed to completely screw up my F240S, can not get into recovery and have tried every way for 2 days now.
My main issue is that I have been trying to flash the F240S KDZ with the LG update tool and all goes well until about 20-30% into the flash process and I get a message saying "Can not continue due to low battery level, please charge fully and retry" but I am fully charged. Very frustrating.
Does anyone know anything I can do ?
I have been toying around with Android mobiles for a few years now, rooting, custom ROMs, etc.. but this is the very first time I believe I may have completely bricked my mobile, very disappointing.
Cheers for any help !! LL13-

Cheers for that Poc... but have tried every possible combination and no luck. I actually bought it to a mobile repair guy, can't believe I had to do it but just want it working at this point. Fingers crossed !!!

put away your battery and do the same flashing without battery...:good:
This Battery low problem is really annoying and has no real reason........i read somewhere that you should use a downloader to download a kdz otherwise it will give error.............it worked once and i flashed successfully but couldn't repeat it....so more luck than logic
an alternate solution is to flash TOT and DLL files using LGPST tool......you may have to search Chinese forums for TOT and DLL files for your specific model. Some Chinese forums below...use chrome for auto tranlsate
http://bbs.gfan.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=1256&filter=typeid&typeid=8314
http://www.sonyue.com/bbs/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=1615
fortunately i could get into my recovery so i flashed a ROM via sideload and save myself
best of luck
Are you on a Windows 8 computer? I read that you have to use windows 7. For some reason W8 gives the low battery issue.
on windows 7........battery issue still present
Thank you for that information guys. I actually brought the phone to a mobile repair place and as of a week now he is completely puzzled, can not fix it. I am away at the moment so will see him on Monday and hopefully he gets it going. I will try the other methods as far as the battery issue goes, I also read about the .TOT and .DLL files but it looked very complicated. I may just have to get into it though.
lkiizm. are you saying that the battery does not have to be in the phone when you are flashing it ?
Cheers, LL13-
This mobile appears to be worse than bricked. The repair shop had never seen anything like it, they had to give up on it.
I can not use the LG flash tool and .KDZ file as I get the low battery error. I can not, repeat NOT get into any recovery at all, I have tried every method.
The phone is stuck in some half baked mode where some things work and some do not, every time I turn the phone off it goes back to the start and anything put on it is erased. Factory reset is useless.
I'm only a little while from simply tossing this mobile in the trash. Does anyone have any ideas on how to salvage this ?
Cheers, LL13-

Tot + DLL should save you... That tool does not have the low battery error.. where are you getting stuck exactly in the boot process? If the mobile turns on, it can be recovered no matter what

Hi vive... I been real upset over this but may be on the verge of a breakthrough as I just tried the mobile support tool for the hell of it and when my "low battery" error would normally pop up I just tried unplugging and plugging in rapidly and it made it through and now seems to be in the process of a proper upgrade.
I'm on 42% now and it's been going for about 19 minutes, fingers crossed this could be it.
I have been looking at the TOT and DLL way, a bit tricky for a guy like me but I may have to suck it up and just dig in.
The real killer is the large download size, I may have to go to an internet cafe for that.
I will report back !!
Cheers, LL13-
I have learned my lesson this time, no more dodgy Chinese ROMs for me !!

Try flashing the rom less than 1 GB using the KDZ_FW_UPD.exe with CS_Emergancy mode it should work if your phone have enough battery power to keep it on in download mode for 10 minutes or so, if not then try through LGNPST using tot file. Or check if it charges in the custom recovery.
Correct me if I am wrong

Turn off your phone and put it in download mode by pressing and holding ‘Volume Up’ + ‘Volume Down’ and inserting USB and use the software to flash KDZ that I attached the screetshot, KDZ_FW_UPD.exe, this one can't flash the KDZ file bigger than 1 GB so if your KDZ is more than ! GB in size then download one that is less then 1 GB recover your phone charge it then flash your desired one. You are using the R & D Tool it always check the battery level and not allow you to flash if battery is less than 50%.
Note: If you have the mako bootloader install this tool might not flash the kdz (It never did for me) to come back to full stock you will have to use the LGNPST

If it's of any help, I had exactly the same problem just a few days ago... Read from this post further down, there were some suggestions from folks, and the final solution to my issue. Long story short, KDZ Updater can work with the dead battery, if you manage to find a KDZ that can be flashed with it. I found a 1.17GB KDZ that I was able to flash (any others, just slightly larger, would give me an extract error), and then just took it from there.
As mentioned, TeenyBin and LGNPST might be another solution, but I have no first-hand experience with it, so I can't comment...
Oh, and BTW, you are saying you "tried to use KDZ Updater", but your screenshot shows the LG Mobile Support Tool -- that's a different application, and a different process. Look at a screenshot by @hackenggr a couple of posts above -- that's KDZ Updater.

I think because you decive is converted with mako bootloader LG software not found the LG phone so they stop.
Use the LGNPST to flash the E975 tot file same way you did with teenybin just rename the .tot to .bin and you will be on the LG stock and software will work fine to your desire KDZ

First tell us what the issue is?
Is it a soft brick? Just flash your TOT file by the LG flash tool and your good to go. But first you should give us some more information

If you can't access the download mode you've hard bricked your phone some way. You should send it back and let it repair by someone
If you're out of warranty and feel up to taking your phone apart you could try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359
If you still have warranty, send it in.
