Help: Stuck on bootloader and accidentally wiped rom - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys
Bit stupid of me.
I rooted and installed recovery then i wanted to wipe the data and start a clean rom - the stock rom, no other rom was ever loaded.
I went into recovery and wiped cache and data etc
I think what I have done is wipe the rom itself and wiped all data.
I can boot up but it sticks on the HTC screen and I can't even turn the phone off from there.
I'm sure this is fixable but it's been a long time since i used adb etc and i am not even sure where or what or the steps to take to get to a point where I can load stock rom back on to my phone. If anyone could throw a few pointers my way I'd be grateful.
Cheers in advance.

Turn phone off by keep the power button down for about 10 seconds, volume down and power together to boot into recovery, install new rom

it won't boot into recovery

Can you get to bootloader.? I bet if you keep trying you will be able to
Maybe try power and volume up to turn off, then hold volume down while turning on

wait to get into clockwork mod its up and down arrows and power button then when it says samsung let go power button but keep holding up and down arrows until clockwork turns on.
once in clockwork factory reset wipe cache and reflash a different rom. if needed dload and new rom and load into clock work it usng mount usb option under advanced to put the rom on your phone then flash it. if you cant get into clockwork go to this guide to use odin to flash back a stock rom and start over.

I flashed the CWM and I was able to go into recovery and flash the liquid rom. And now it doesnt turn on or even vibrate when I try to power it on. Nothing on the screen. And when i plug it into the computer a message asking me to format the Drive. And screen doesnt turn on or show the charging indicator when I try to charge it.

I installed CWM with odin and I was able to boot into CWM recovery I wiped data and cache then install LIQUIDSMOOTH rom then latest gapps and restart.Nothing shows up on the screen and no vibration or anything.
I got the phone for about 8 months. Should I send it in to Samsung or try one of those jtag repair service. Their description says they can repair hard brick devices. Has anyone tried it and are they reliable?
if you have CWMR installed you should be able to just turn off your device and turn it on hold both volume up and down once the CWMR comes up take your fingers off the volume buttons.
EDIT: if you can access the CWMR find the proper ROM for your device put in a SDcard and put the SDcard in your phone and boot up CWMR and install from zip from sdcard following this to install it correctly.
I normally do...
Wipe Data/Factory reset
Wipe cache partition
install zip from sdcard
go to Advanced
Wipe dalvik cache
Wipe battery status
Fix permissions (just incase)
Reboot Device
wait about usually 3-8 minutes depends on the ROM. if it's longer then that then your stuck in a boot loop
this is all on done on CWMR v6.0.1.5
Same thing happen to me. Now my phone won't turn on

Urgent (phone glitching)

I used kies to go back to stock rom, now my phone starts goes to samsung screen, then goes to samsung screen, and keep looping it. never going into android os :S
Boot into recovery and wipe data (factory reset) and cache.

Calm down. And no need to open a new thread everytime.
Pull off the battery and boot in stock recovery by pressing "volume up+homme button+ power button" when Samsung logo appears release power button but keep pressing the other two.
You will be then in recovery.
Select wipe phone/factory reset
And wipe cache. After that select reboot.
Phone should boot normally.

Flash the xposed framework and select at least the APM mod......makes powering off easy
i installed xposed with toolbox now but i dont find anything to change power options
I have no clue anymore what you are looking for anyway, a way to power off the phone ?
Hit it real hard with a heavy hammer !
I never used it, i am running viper and it has APM built in to acces the quick menu's and settings
i want it to when i press long power button taht it keeping off and not starting again when i remove finger from button

Not gonna happen, power button is hard coded to simulate a battery pull and reboot by default on longpress.
Turn it off via other methods !
and my keyboard on phone also dont have an "Y" button
Y .....mine does....see : small one y and capital Y You seem to have weird problems. ...
now a not weird problem
my brightness keeps being on full. I doesnt change anything when i change it on settings to lower or higher. it stays bright
Flash another rom or reflash the rom with a FULL wipe. It's a issue that is unlikely to happen on a so close to stock rom. And read the rom thread, check AND search if there are more reports of that problem !
I did not have this on stock and now i also don't have it on Viper X.

[Q] [VK810] Can't Boot into TWRP With Hard Keys

I am rooted with TWRP 2.7.0.2 installed. I can boot into TWRP using the Quickboot app, but not using the button combo (power+vol. down, when the logo appears release power, while still holding vol. down push power and vol. up). Does anyone know how to get into TWRP on the Verizon VK810 from a powered off device?
Just be super quick...(think power on/sound down - power off then all 3 at once. Recovery will display.
MAKE a recovery backup! Be safe.

Thanks for helping, Cal. No matter how quick I am, it just restarts to the logo, even if I start before I see the logo. If I hold the three buttons for a long time, I get the ieme screen to flash for about a second. Also, if I hold down the power and volume down for a long time I get stock "System Recovery", the one with the 4 options. From there I can either reboot, wipe cache, factory reset or power off.

Make sure you are shutdown. All must be off - Then start the button hold process to 'recovery'.

I've been doing that, to no avail. Curious thing, though. I booted into System Recovery by pushing the power+volume down. I was given 4 options. Factory reset, power off, wipe cache and safe boot. I use the volume rocker to get to "wipe cache", push power to select, and it takes me to TWRP. I can get there now from a powered off state, which is the goal, I just don't know why.

If it works, Great! Why worry 'why'!!
New to me! Still on the 500.

I had problems getting into recovery also. To resolve this issue, I just downloaded reboot recovery from the play store. Works like a charm.
spiceditup and cal, what device do you have? 500 does not equal vk810 unfortunately for us poor saps who sit under the verizon throne.

I use Quickboot. It works too. The thing is, if I ever have a boot loop or brick my device, I'll have no way to get into recovery with Quickboot.
Do you have TWRP installed and are you having the same problem I am, namely the button combo doesn't work?

As far as I know, the only way of getting into TWRP from a powered off state on the VK810 is by selecting an option from the stock recovery such as "Factory Reset". Wipe Cache performed the same thing, trying to pass a command off to the rest of the stock recovery, but since it's been replaced with TWRP, TWRP is simply loaded and the command (no matter if it's Factory Reset or Wipe Cache) isn't executed.
For example, it works the same way with the LG G3, at least on Verizon.

Good to know that I didn't mess something up. I searched the Web, but couldn't find anything that even remotely said what you said above. Thanks for clarifying it.

You're welcome! I was totally surprised the first time I found out my LG devices used that "stock recovery front end" and that you can't boot directly to custom recovery from power off. I meant to add that if anyone found I was full of bat guano to please correct anything I said.
