My Grand is not connecting to my PC.
My PC does not recognize it, nothing happens when I plug
my phone in.
I tried using Kies but it didn't work.
Can you please help me?

check your data cable it may not be working correctly use other data cable

Make sure you have the Samsung USB driver for mobile phone installed on your PC.

Install Samsung Driver Correctly and See if still doesn't work use other USB cable and connect..

When I try to install the drivers it says : "acces denied".
I tried using other USB cables but it didn't help.

When I plug my mobile phone to your PC and select "USB Connection", you do not install the drivers of Cellular and therefore does not connect .. Why? What I do to solve?

I'm trying to connect the phone with your computer with the USB cable.
On the phone you have to select the connection type you want to use, first of all, u have to install the drivers, when your done, plugin your defy and wait for windows to recognize it. You will have an icon on the right thats is showing new hardware installation. Click on it and see how it goes(you have at least to install 6 or 7 of them). After that on the phone, select mass storage as connection type, and pay attention that debug mode is off(on cell phone go to settings, applications, development, and turn off debug mode) And thats it...

Hi everyone i need help! Im trying to use odin to undo root on my epic touch. Unfortunately, my computer is not able to detect my phone. When i plug in the phone to the computer all it does is charge. USB debug is off and im not sure what else i need to do. The computer does have samsung kies drivers installed.

And search this has been covered a hundred times
First thing is try different USB cable and I'd then reinstall drivers I'd that doesn't help

USB debugging needs to be on, not off
It doesnt sound like you are in Download Mode. Bottom volume + Power.
Also try rebooting PC, someone already mentioned different USB ports, reinstall Odin, etc.

I tried rebooting the pc, using a different cable, and reinstalling Odin. I still cant get my phone to detect in odin mode. Any advice or help please?

Any dinging noises when pluugged into the computer? Is your phone recognized in device manger?

This sounds like your problem. Same thing happened to me first time I tried to root.
No dinging noise and the phone is NOT recognized in device manager. I think i may have a faulty USB port on the phone.

although the op doesn't say I have to ask. what did you flash before trying to unroot. did you put the international ics on there?
I did not put on ICS. I am currently runnning caulkin rom
I want to ask does anyone know how to fix USB connection on Samsung Galaxy W? It's always show USB doesn't recognize everytime i connect to my PC, i try to connect with different data cable and PC, but it still same.

Please, please any help!!! the last days my laptop dont recognized my S4.... I try in a different computer but its the same....I dont know if do this after install the rom called Hyperdrive RSL14... because when I install this rom show something wrong in the installation, but I continue and use it... but I dont shure if the computer dont recognized after that......

i try send my phone in Odin mode , but its the same !!!... I try to do on my cell restoring to an old nandroid backup but its the same....so only have in my sdcard two roms to install : wiked 10 and hyperdrive RSL14... but I want my pc recognized my cell... please helpme on this !!!

its NOT my pc.... its not the cable... I have 3 laptops....windows 7 and one with windows 8 with the latest drivers intalled... other phones its works with them..,. just only my S4, so I have 3 usb cables ones OEM and 2 more generic... the 3 usb cables works with other cell in the pcs...
what its wrong with my S4.... if conect to my pc the phone its charging, but just only charging.. not recognized to other modes... I want to know what can I do, because its important fix it, to work with ODIN and not pull out the ExtSDCard every time to want to past any file between my cell and my pc...
something its wrong with the port on my cell... did you think I need replace the port or something like that ????:crying:

windows recognize problems
I went through that for about a week. and my solution was as simple as using another usb cable. it sounds simple but try it. make sure its made for your phone. some pprograms will run with other cables and some wont.
my friend send me 2nd hand LG F180K, and i try to connect it to my computer, but nothing happen, Device manager not detect it, it only show slow charging, not MTP etc. and i cant enter recovery mode too. but it working well without problem, startup without problem, everything work properly, except for computer connection and recovery mode. can anyone help me ? sorry for my bad english

Its already on, computer just not recognized it, ady try in other computer, installing usb driver, nothing happen, only slow charging notification popup
Try Download and Installing "LGUnitedMobileDriver" then connect USB.
Tell me Android Version.

Must be yes, it have supersu apps, but when i open it, it say supersu binary file missing

Root again, maybe you use restore backup app but not Rooted before.
Root it using "Root tool" application. Then install optimus G recovery apk from the forum...and reboot recovery . then use 3 wipes and reboot. After reboot connect usb cable.

ady re-root it, can you give me step-by step to install that optimus G recovery app+the link to download it? search it on forum and cant found it. im newbie btw
I faced the same problem with my F180s.
To fix this annoying bug, just connect your phone via a USB hub.
Change your connection to anything like [MTP] or [LG software] (I prefer the later).
Then unplug and plug your cable between USB hub and PC, do this a few times and your phone will vibrate, which means that your phone is now connected.
now the phone full rooted, but the USB still cant connect to my computer. ady try other cable/computer, reinstall driver. it only detect slowcharging, not MPT option (ady change in setting-pc connection+enable debug too)

ady try that too, many2 time, still no luck for me
i just think if my port broken or not, but it charge very well, only pc connection not work (show slow charging notification only)
