USB Connection Problem MS2Ginger

Hello Everyone.
I have a problem with this rom.
When I plug my mobile phone to your PC and select "USB Connection", you do not install the drivers of Cellular and therefore does not connect .. Why? What I do to solve?

it's the same .. how do i solve this problem ?

I'm trying to connect the phone with your computer with the USB cable.

On the phone you have to select the connection type you want to use, first of all, u have to install the drivers, when your done, plugin your defy and wait for windows to recognize it. You will have an icon on the right thats is showing new hardware installation. Click on it and see how it goes(you have at least to install 6 or 7 of them). After that on the phone, select mass storage as connection type, and pay attention that debug mode is off(on cell phone go to settings, applications, development, and turn off debug mode) And thats it...

My computer installa all driver than mtp usb driver ... what can i do? Help me please!

[Q] Help Please! Computer cant detect Epic Touch!

Hi everyone i need help! Im trying to use odin to undo root on my epic touch. Unfortunately, my computer is not able to detect my phone. When i plug in the phone to the computer all it does is charge. USB debug is off and im not sure what else i need to do. The computer does have samsung kies drivers installed.

And search this has been covered a hundred times
First thing is try different USB cable and I'd then reinstall drivers I'd that doesn't help

USB debugging needs to be on, not off

It doesnt sound like you are in Download Mode. Bottom volume + Power.

Also try rebooting PC, someone already mentioned different USB ports, reinstall Odin, etc.

I tried rebooting the pc, using a different cable, and reinstalling Odin. I still cant get my phone to detect in odin mode. Any advice or help please?

Any dinging noises when pluugged into the computer? Is your phone recognized in device manger?

This sounds like your problem. Same thing happened to me first time I tried to root.

No dinging noise and the phone is NOT recognized in device manager. I think i may have a faulty USB port on the phone.

although the op doesn't say I have to ask. what did you flash before trying to unroot. did you put the international ics on there?

I did not put on ICS. I am currently runnning caulkin rom

GT-I9000 gos directly into download mode >> Please Help <<<

I have GT-I9000 Mobile, my mobile now is not working, when you turn it on it gos directly into download mode, and when i connect it to computer it is unrecognized device.
do driver worked and ODIN is not recognize it also.
I tried Samsung Kis and other ROM methods nothing worked.
but my mobile is going directly to the download mode without touching any buttons.
Please Please Please help .

Try downloading the Nexus S usb drivers and hope that will get it recognized. Also try different USB cables and a different computer.

Try to remove Kies and all drivers you have. Install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728929 and try it. Good luck.
PS: Also try it with Odin 1.83

Thanks man but did not work, I tried drivers, cables computers ... etc.
I think the problem is with the kernel or boot loader but to fix it you need to connect the device with the computer .
and always says unrecognized device.

1. Try to post in the correct section
2. Do USB really work, or is it may not working ?
3. UNINSTALL the i9000 driver.
4. download this HERE
5. install the driver, restart your computer.
6. now it HAS TO work, if not, then the hardware should be the fault !
BY THE WAY : try this on another computer to be shure you did everything fine !!

1- Please tell me what section should I put my post in .
2- I have GT-I9000 and Galaxy S2 , the USP port is fine, and the cable is fine
3- I tried 3 computers windows xp , 7 and 7 64bit
4- I am afraid that you are right ... it is a hardware issue. , but how can it be if the mobile is starting and going to the download mode ???

I ****ed up my USB port after 19 months of usage... it was charging, but no reply or identification from the port... samsung repaired it and everything is working fine... so maybe you broke it too ?

Have you try with another computer ?... :cyclops:

windows cant recognized my S4

Please, please any help!!! the last days my laptop dont recognized my S4.... I try in a different computer but its the same....I dont know if do this after install the rom called Hyperdrive RSL14... because when I install this rom show something wrong in the installation, but I continue and use it... but I dont shure if the computer dont recognized after that......
I try in different slots of usb on my laptop.. I try in another laptop ... show the same screen :
"One of the usb devices atached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognized"
i try send my phone in Odin mode , but its the same !!!... I try to do on my cell restoring to an old nandroid backup but its the same....so only have in my sdcard two roms to install : wiked 10 and hyperdrive RSL14... but I want my pc recognized my cell... please helpme on this !!!

I did ut..but its the same...download kies but not... my 3 pcs cant recognized my S4... if its my S4 with somsghing wrong ?

its NOT my pc.... its not the cable... I have 3 laptops....windows 7 and one with windows 8 with the latest drivers intalled... other phones its works with them..,. just only my S4, so I have 3 usb cables ones OEM and 2 more generic... the 3 usb cables works with other cell in the pcs...
what its wrong with my S4.... if conect to my pc the phone its charging, but just only charging.. not recognized to other modes... I want to know what can I do, because its important fix it, to work with ODIN and not pull out the ExtSDCard every time to want to past any file between my cell and my pc...

which version of Samsung kies ur using

Have you tried removing the drivers from device manager and reinstalling them?

windows recognize problems
I went through that for about a week. and my solution was as simple as using another usb cable. it sounds simple but try it. make sure its made for your phone. some pprograms will run with other cables and some wont.

check your data cable it may not be working correctly use other data cable

Make sure you have the Samsung USB driver for mobile phone installed on your PC.

When I try to install the drivers it says : "acces denied".
I tried using other USB cables but it didn't help.
