I can't remember whether I istalled quickboot, I might have as at first after I installed CM it did go into android OS but I wanted to check whether CM stays if I boot into recovery and that's when it didn't let me get out of recovery no matter what I did.
I did fix it by installing the stock rom. Thanks for your help.

The CWM you flashed is a temporary one.
When you restart the phone into recovery, it goes into the original Samsung recovery, right? If so, then just re-flash the CWM. You'll need to do this every time to go into CWM.

yeah i'm know that, but when im enter CWM not loaded, what version do you use ? give me please
I use the one from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141395
(that thread says version 6.0.2.8, but when I run it it says 6.0.4.5)
I do not understand what you mean by "when im enter CWM not loaded". You need to flash the zip every time you want to run CWM, like you did the first time - somebody should correct me if I'm wrong.

what ROM do you use ?
when I was in stock MF1 I installed 6.0.2.8 (Shaaan thread, TY BTW) and it was temporary.
Then I flashed CM10.2 which installed me a new version of CWM (6.0.4.6) which is now persistent.
Can you develop a little bit more about your software configuration please ? ROM ? kernel ?
I have a similar problem. After i flashed cm 10.1 recovery dissapeared. I don't have cwm neither stock recovery. Any way to flash it via odin?

[Q] Rooted Note falling into bootloop after CWM Install

Alright. This was very confusing to identify why this was happening, but I managed to pin point the steps which caused it to happen.
I am running 4.4 Kit Kat firmware, I also just recently rooted the phone through CF Autoroot. The next move I wanted to make was to install the CynogenMod ROM, but I did not have a custom recovery installed yet. After downloading the ROM manager app, I installed/flashed CWM and the app read that I had it as my set recovery, so I could check that off the list.
However when I try to boot the phone into recovery mode CWM does not appear at all, but instead the android logo appears with three lines of words that read:
Recovery Booting
Recovery is not Seandroid enforcing
Set warranty bit: recovery
The screen remains like this for a couple of seconds, then shuts off, then repeats. The only way I have been able to fix it is by flashing the stock firmware again through Odin, then rooting the phone the same way I did previously. It seems that setting my recovery to CWM in ROM manager is the cause of this problem, but why? Should I install CWM through other means? Is it ROM manager?
Any advice would be great!
Thanks!

Which recovery Version you are flashed on your tab?
And which root.zip you are used?
Flash Stockrom and try it again.

Im using the latest TWRP recovery 2.7.0.0 and for root i use a zip called universal root armeabi *smth like that*
I allready flashed the stockrom 3 times and i got the same result. also im using the T210XXANC2 firmware.
In CWM, wipe data and factory reset. Then go to Download mode, use Odin and flash your stock rom. That should do it.

What ROM are you trying to flash? You must have missed a step. Make sure you read the instructions carefully before doing anything and use a custom rom for your device. Try again. I'm also new to Android and has softbricked my tab a couple of times now.
Go back to stock. Let your device boot completely. Install recovery again. Reboot again.
To make it easier, how about watching a video so you can see how it's done properly? It helped me a lot. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2459817
Good luck.

So i have flashed (again) the stock firmware from sammobile,i rooted it,installed cwm 6.0.4.7 and then i flashed SEAL rom v4 and its not working. Its like something that doesnt let custom rom boot on my tab. Sad part is that i cant provide a logcat because the android wont boot.
EDIT: Do i have to unlock the bootloader?

I allready tried 3 roms(seal, 4.2.2 beta 2 and inspire) and all goes to the same result. Also, after installing the cwm i flash first the blackhawk kernel and android boots normally (stock rom with custom kernel) but custom rom with or without custom kernel wont boot.
I had similar problem try flashing seal v3.

cwm bootloop

First time this happens. Was going to do a nandroid from rom manager and the phone got stuck in boot loop. Cwm would start and restart the phone over and over again. I had to do odin back to 4.3 root66.
I was installing a 4.4 tw rom with Agni kernel 4.2.1 and after setting up rom manager if I tried going into recovery it will start boot looping.
has this happened to anyone and fixed it.
Thanks, cheers.

Since I did a odin restore, I must have had installed the latest CWM from rom manager. Its after I install 4.4 t rom nd agni kernel that it happans. Very weird thinking of staying on4.3 till I figure this out.
Else I need to next to my PC is it happens again. I was wondering if there was a way to stop booting into CWM since bootinging into the rom has no issues.

If rom manager thought you were running a SGH-I317 it may have installed the wrong model's cwm. Get the proper file and flash manually.

Glad to sat it not happening anymore. No CWB Boot loop anymore.
I cannot say how it happened but I think I was flashing to many stuff on first flash and that was causing it.
I followed the directions and let rom settle for 10 minutes before flashing SU, Kernel and key board fix.

well i took that file from freegee folder, maybe you must flash this file first
Download CWM OR TWRP without any hassle
Just download freegee(root) from Google play store and once installed and opened ....let it download the necessary....then just click on cwm or twrp as per ur wish ......u might then feel as if the app has frozen....but it is the process of downloading...... And once finished it will show flash successful ....
Works with 4.4.2?
I used the FreeGee app on stock 4.4.2 V20c earlier, but it bricked my device. Why is that? How do I install a recovery on 4.4.2?
i have a question on flashing the cwm recovery image, i had to go back to stock as i was soft bricked - i now need to install a recovery and i am sure that when i did this a few weeks ago on my g pro i used flashify and flashed the cwm recovery image through this app and everything works ed well, now i am trying to do it and it flashes the file but wont go into recovery - it says fastboot mode started but never goes into recovery, i also tried rom toolbox to flash it and not having any luck - anyone have a way to do this ?

Philz touch cwm is a good one, you can find here on xda, or via Google search. However, my personal experience with cwm touch variant on e980 is that it causes the recovery bootloop (where you just keeps on going back to the recovery screen). Version 6.0.47 is stable , and will not cause the boot loop say when you try to open the recovery by using the up volume + power buttons. This seem to be the issue too with the cwm provided by cm update in the developer's option. Read the postings in the Philz's thread if you want to know more about the recovery loop and the touch cwm.
I get wrong date and time whene i make a backup. I have a E986. How can i fix this?
