Hey guys.
I've been a long time lurker and finally am needing some help here.
I'm selling off my Huawei P6 and would like to get it back to stock fully rather urgently but there's a few little issues which I know I'm just not thinking straight to solve.
I've gone from KK back to 4.2.2, I've flashed back stock recovery and redid B125/B111. I then downloaded stock from Huawei's website.
It's almost though as if traces of 4.4.2 are left on the phone
1)The default Huawei boot animation doesn't show, it just says Android still while it use to be sparkly animation
2)The drop down menu bottons are still showing and I can still swipe up and down to hide it.
3)When you reset the phone the default screen with the 2 people, clock, weather etc isn't there, it's just a blank home screen
4)When you swipe down, no buttons to turn on wifi/mobile data etc is there
in About phone it says:
Emotion UI 1.6
4.2.2
Kernel is 3.0.8-00780
So I'm not sure what to do at this point?
Any advice?
Please and thanks!!
Got it working!!
Flashed TWRP, Wiped Dalvik, System and Cache.
Rebooted into Bootloader
Flashed stock recovery
Rebooted into stock recovery with UP/VOL+-
Flashed B125
All back to normal.

So I had just flashed the latest rooted stock rom and everything went fine. When my nexus booted up I was turning back on the root app, ultimate dynamic navbar I believe. It rebooted my phone to change the build prop. Well after the Google logo came up it became a black screen. I would normally do a battery pull but I don't know how to do that. The screen is still on so if anyone could help I would be very grateful. I have a backup on twrp right now just don't know how to access it.

If you just hold the power button down, the device will reboot. Optionally, if you can connect it to the computer and adb sees it, you can "adb reboot recovery" to get into the recovery and restore your backup.

Check to make sure whatever app you flashed is compatible with the firmware version of the rom you flashed. I had this happen to me last night when I tried to flash a JSS15J mod for the new JSS15Q update.
Hello!
Today, my bro - gnex succesfully waked me up with a new alarm sound (a really weird loop of a Timely sound)... It froze in the "snooze" screen in Timely, and it didn't do anything so I removed the battery and then I turned it on.. It passed the Google logo, but the boot animation never appeared... It didn't reboot (no boot loop), and it got quite hot in the area next to the camera... Now it doesn't start. I can get into fastboot and recovery (Twrp)
It's been like a week since I got it into ParanoidAndroid 4.3 (3.99v), and since, it rebooted a couple of times, don't know if it has something to do with the Rom or the Kernel or if it's relevant...
My gnex is rooted and unlocked (obviously), with PA 3.99 (the latest 4.3?) and franco kernel (r391 nightly).
- First, I wiped cache\dalvik - No change
- Then I did a full wipe - No change
- Tried to install stock 4.3 with the Toolkit (yep, I know that's not the best way... won't do it again) - didn't worked (It looked like it succesfully installed radio and bootloader but then an error stops everything)
I always thought I was such a badass installing things to my unbrickable gnexus, now I'm too scared to do anything else to it without any help...
I'm from Costa Rica, please excuse my English
Any help would be much appreciated!!
EDIT: Managed to install stock again, 4.3, stock recovery and radios... Got halfway of the boot animation but then boot-loop... Went to stock recovery and wiped cache, no change... Re-flashed stock android, no change... Re-locked and unlocked the bootloader so it would wipe everything... Sadly no change...

How did you flash stock? With fastboot via the flash-all.bat?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium HD app
Still a bit of noob here - but here's what happened:
I was running clean bean 4.2, then I successfully installed the MK3 baseband w/o any problems. I found that the wifi was broken so I flashed the wifi fix from (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541900).
Once that flashed ok my system tried to reboot and then proceeded to sit at the samsung loading screen. After 10+ mins I hard pulled the battery and was able to get into twrp and tried a restore backup from before any changes today. Once that finished it rebooted and is still sitting at s3 load screen.
Now when I try to get into recovery nothing happens.
Powering of and on remains sitting at the s3 load screen.
Any help would be appreciated.
Update: Ok not all hope is lost - I can get back into recovery, but restore while successful refuses to load past the s3 screen.
I'm a bit at loss now what to do - would factory resetting it do the trick?
Update 2: Tried a factory reset and still nothing - still sits at the s3 load screen.
Ok - I got a rom manually back on the sd card and reflashed a base rom.
Phone boots back into android. :good:
I have learned my lesson.
Yes, lesson is do not flash zips made for stock touchwiz when you are on AOSP, or vice versa.
my phone LG E975 keep shutting down after the LG animated logo.
Few days ago, I installed brain dots, and keep playing it until my phone got hot and then shut down, but I can turn it back on and everything worked normally, today I played again and my phone got so hot again and shut down.
but now, it always shut down again after the animated LG logo. sometimes I can see my wallpaper before my phone shut down sometimes it shut down in animated LG logo.
my phone is unlocked, rooted and has CWM recovery 4.1.2 Stock ROM
I tried :
- custom restore to restore boot img from my old nandriod backup. still dont work.
- flash custom kernel ( that I have tested it before and work great, Solid Kernel 0.8)
- wipe cache and wipe dalvik, after "starting apps" message then it shut down again.
is there a way to test which app that cause my phone to crash?
a log of what my phone did last time before crash?
If I can, I dont want to flash my phone
Hi guys. I have a factory refurbished AT&T E980 that had stock 4.2.2 on it when I got it. Assuming it was the last OTA that was pushed out. I attempted to downgrade to 10g because I was still learning the recovery options for this phone. I've since flashed most of the available JB builds with similiar results. From off, the phone will show the AT&T logo for a few seconds, then go to a black screen for several seconds. Then I have to hit the power button twice to bring up the home screen. There is no boot animation, but you can hear the accompanying sound. I seemingly cannot get any roms to boot, other than stock, as they all hang at a black screen, even after wiping/factory reset. I also cannot get any variants of recoveries to work, other than the CWM packaged with GPro Recovery. The TWRP included with that only shows a black screen with the back and menu buttons lit up, and the home button cycling through colors.
I've searched through the forums and haven't seen anyone experiencing this issue. My only clue to the problem is reading something about another LG phone that, once refurbished, came with updated display drivers that caused a similar issue. Here.
Any insight would be appreciated.
*Edit
I flashed SphinX Pro v2.0 after posting this. It corrected the above issues, and allowed me to boot into the included philz recovery with no problems. I then tried to use philz to flash the Cloudy TWRP in preparation for installing Super Mini V6.5 but was unsuccessful. What I assume is supposed to be recovery is now a black screen. The bootanimation is gone, but I no longer have to cycle the power button to show the home screen once it boots all the way up.
