Anyone know how to access it?

should be active if both devices support HD Voice.

I think it will help you.
I mean there is no setting HD voice just deals with the codec they use. I will say calls are clear and better than the S4 in my opinion. However, I will say it is softer and I am missing that speaker boost feature the S4 had.

Just as a reminder, Sprint is CDMA/WIMAX. This phone will NOT work on a GSM/HSPA network.

I'm wondering why both Sprint's versions of Galaxy S phone have notification lights, when none of the other carriers Galaxy S devices receive them. I guess Sprint may know what people prefer & will ask/demand it be on their devices......Too bad their network SUCKS
Don't need notification lights as I'm on the phone full time anyways

Just as a reminder, Sprint's network sucks. The Yesterday Network has become downright embarrassing. If it was on a GSM provider or Verizon's that be one thing.

Same here! I pre-ordered this bad boy already. Can't wait. These two weeks are going to be torture. I'm temporarily using a Samsung Reclaim for God's sake!!
A question: I posted this elsewhere but didn't get much of a response. You all think that for root / flashing custom roms purposes, will be coming to the same thread? (this one)
I'm asking because the US variants seem to differ in several ways and I'm not sure if all the variants will be discussed/rooted/developed on the same thread. Any guesses?
Also, you guys feeling pretty sure the bootloader will remain unlocked? (Man, I hope so).
What do ya think the battery life will be like since it has a larger screen? It says up to 8.7 hours of talk time
not a big deal

I have actually noticed alot of improvements to there network actually, alot faster data speeds in the last couple months without turning on WIMAX! my fiance on the other hand has T-Mobile and they have gone in a downward spiral.

Have to say, I've been trying to figure that one out also. With the slightly different hardware, I wonder if we'll be using the same place. Annoyingly like others noticed already - having it as "epic 4g touch" is giving me fits trying to find info as easy as it should be. lol
They have got it working on aosp ICS for sensation. Can anyone port it to nexus.

This will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Surely the reason why its available for stock ICS on the Sensation is because its available for the stock Sense ROM on the Sensation (and the other HTC T-Mobile phones).
We had WiFi calling on the G2 on all of the ROMs (Sense, AOSP, MIUI) because it came stock on the G2.
I highly doubt we'll ever see it on the Galaxy Nexus.
From what I've heard, T-Mobile wifi calling requires modifications in the ril, which is not open source.

It requires the ril to support certain features/ calls. If it does you are good to go. If it does not (in the case of the nexus s) you are dead in the water unless a ril from a device that does support these calls works on your device.

I put together my own version using csipsimple, callcentric, ipkall, google voice, google voice callback (donate), and tasker.
Sounds complicated, but it works really well, and is zero maintenance once set up.
If you're interested,i will share my setup.

I used that for my tasker profile basis (codesplice did great work), but I found Groove IP to have TERRIBLE call quality...and that method also means that calls won't ring through to your gmail, which I love.
Here is my guide that I just posted:

Guys, will be having a virgin cdma HTC ONE V in a few days. I wanted to ask what is your view on sound quality and bass as compared to phones like nexus S?

I'm using Rockbox to play music right now.
Its sound quality is a lot better than stock music player.
You can try it out.
But it is still a beta version so it don't work properly sometimes.

I want to do some public pranks, but I don't know what mic to get. Since my Galaxy S2 is the only audio recorder I have. My limit is about $50.

Hello. Well my friend... I have tried recording with my Jabra headset and it works pretty well. Bought it from amazon about a year ago and it's still holding up just fine.
Link: http://www.amazon.com/Jabra-EASYGO-...23487&sr=8-3&keywords=jabra+bluetooth+headset
If you want to use the headset as a voice recorder you'll need an app called Bluetooth Recorder Lite.
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bluetooth.recorder&hl=es
It's not the best app but oh well... There aren't too many free options right now.
If you really are into that I recommend Easy Voice Recorder Pro. It costs around 4 dollars right now and it has bluetooth support.

Hope I helped :good:
Has anyone bought or tested this APT-X headset? I assume the actual headphones are similar to the free ones we get with the HTC One. Any views welcome as I use a Samsung HS3000 at the moment and I am wondering if this HTC APT-X verison is better. Thanks in advance
Bump. Hoping someone can help me
