Has anyone bought or tested this APT-X headset? I assume the actual headphones are similar to the free ones we get with the HTC One. Any views welcome as I use a Samsung HS3000 at the moment and I am wondering if this HTC APT-X verison is better. Thanks in advance
Bump. Hoping someone can help me

There are a lot better sounding head sets than beats that are cheaper but any set will "work" I think head sets with forward/back buttons usually only work on iphones.

It's beats by HTC now not Dr Dre

Hi
I have a jawbone era which worked with my old htc desire but totally sucks with the nexus. This is a common issue I have subsequently found out.
Can anyone tell me if the Jawbone Icon HD works with the nexus ?
How about the plantronics headsets ?
Any other recommendations for a good BT headset?
Any feedback or suggestions are most appreciated.
Thanks, Dean
I use a jawbone era with mine and like it. I also use the jawbone app with it.

I'm having terrible trouble with mine - people on the other end can hardly hear me. These 2 links show people having the same issues:
eg http://forums.jawbone.com/t5/ERA/Jawbone-ERA-connection-with-Samsung-Galaxy-Nexus-i9250-Ice-Cream/td-p/28890 and

So you guys using it with the nexus havent experienced any problems ?
The Icon HD works amazing for me. I have it and use it everyday. No problems I've ran into. Had it since Nexus launch.

So I just got the Apple Earpods and it seems that the microphone does not work at all. During calls and in apps. It doesn't matter what ROM I am on. However I do know the microphone on the headphones does work on other phones like the Nexus 4. Is there anyway that the microphone support could be implemented into a ROM? Or is it something hardware related that Samsung did with the headphone jack?

Like all Apple products, they decided to make their own version of TRRS jacks, so Apple reversed two of the poles on the jack. You can buy a converter here for 10.00

Thank you! But I am wondering why does it not work on the GS3? It works on the nexus 4 and according to android central when they reviewed the earpods, the microphone does work the android.

I believe in the review AC used a GNex, and if you read through the comments, people say the mic does not work on a SGS3 and even the GNex.
Try downloading Jays headset control from play store and see if it works.

HEllo i have a HTC BH S600 Bluetooth Stereo and i cant connect to my HTC one and my notebook same time?
Any help
It's not supposed to.

Yeah unless your stereo has the capability to connect to more than one device at a time, there's nothing you can do...

Some bluetooth receivers have multipoint capability, but without it, there's nothing you can do.
The Sony MW600 Stereo Bluetooth Headset does multipoint up to three devices. Worth checking out.

By plugging your headphones in. I misplaced my bluetooth device last week, and used the auxillary input in my car as a speakerphone. The car does not have a microphone/hands free system, it just puts the audio out of the speakers, and knows based on the bands on the headset jack (lack thereof) not to look for audio input through the headset.
Wow can't believe I never noticed that...you're right! Thanks mate
