Hello guys ,,
at NOV 29 (about 3 days ago) google has released a new version of google maps (google maps 6 )
my problem that i'm unable to download it and the reason it's not supported at my country , and i tried to change my market location using market enabler app but it didn't work for me
so , my demand from you that i want the program by apk format to install it directly at my phone .
any explanation would be appreciated .
You can just use market enabler to fake your location, you can use another country like France or USA..

PS: Don't search for google maps directly, just search gmail after choose more application from google and you can update maps

Market enabler won't work cos its not recognizing SGS2 as compatible. Its not about the location.
But simply using google or make a simple search here on xda and your would find the apk. Some newer roms also come pre-installed with it.
PS. I accidentally thank you. Those buttons are too close to each other.

Maybe because there are two Market Enabler programs in the android market...
I use the fist one and it work : Look to the result

Just searched for maps on the market and when I went into the app it showed update. So I did. Didn't need any tricks etc.

Are you located outside the US? AFAIK, you are required to be in the US for the widget to be available.

HI, i just try the normal and the transparent widget and both get me errors while installing, it says that there's a current version of the app and it's signed so there's a error with the signature.
i am on takju 4.1.2 and i still have sound search.

Not sure about yakju, but on takju, if you are not in the U.S., there are two apps and one widget that are disabled (although they are still installed):
Wallet
Magazines
Ears widget
You need to enable them to use them (and you have to enable them on every boot). You can use Package Enabler, or ROM Toolbox or Titanium Backup, or a few other apps to enable them.

Thanks a Lot, i Just check with Package Enabler and i have disabled Wallet, Magazines, Videos and Ears widget for Colombia (yakju on 4.1.2).

Hi, just try to activate it, but if you are running 4.1.2 and you are not inside the US, you have this disabled..

Just flash it brotha! That was for manually pushing it to your device, which isn't needed anymore with the flashable
To ensure you're on v5.0.32 go into Google Play then settings and the last thing in setting should be "Build Version 5.0.32"!

Hmmm... try wiping cache and data for play store or go into recovery and wipe cache & dalvik cache.

Just the opposite for me.
Google Play Services is hell bent on picking the version it wants and self-updates no matter what I choose. I used to have this problem with Team Blackout's version on my S3.
So.....it keeps going back to an older version. The Play Store is okay.

I used Titanium Backup Pro
Flashed Only The Rom And Not the Update.
Backed Up Play Store and Services.
Uninstalled Both and Re-installed them Again Through Titanium Backup.

There is a gameeloft issue with canvas 4 eg.Mc 4 not working.Almost all Gameloft games aren't working Please fix this issue although I haven't tried Mc4 after installing this ROM I will try n tell you.Hope my boot image and charger animation is fixed coz I messed up boot image and switched off charger animation by previously installed custom ROM .

I was too facing the same issue. Just download the update and flash manually through recovery but I wouldn't recommend it as when I did so the rom upgraded to V3.2 and the Play Store & Services started FCing:silly:
Android L Launcher is good, but
If i want to use the default stock launcher for canvas 4 what to do ?
I really need this sorted out. Its stock rom so atleast stock launcher should come with it rather than L launcher, or even if L launcher is better there should be no need of removing the stock launcher,

Copy the stock launcher from stock rom. Put it in system/app/.. Chqnge the permission to r-w-r-r. Reboot and enjoy.. U can also install stock launcher and normal app..

All the features working well and smooth just like it should run in stock v3
but after update v1.2, the stock default launcher is missing and is replaced by L launcher. What if I need to use the stock launcher of Canvas 4 ?
How do I switch the launcher ? Have u removed the stock launcher ? If yes, then how to find the APK of it so as to install it again and whats the procedure ?

Download v3 rom again not update and extarct then go to system, app then find luncher2 apk and copy to your phone sd after that go your device, system, app and past it and reboot your device... U done

Lol.. U can get stock launcher on google easily.. If still u r nt able to find tht mail me i will make a flashable zip of stock launcher...

There is no root nor recovery available for this app so far.
I need the four apps:
-Google Account Manager
-Google Services Framework
-Google Play Services
-Google Play Store
I have tried to download the apks from apkmirror but this solution does not work. Keeps giving me error:
"Youtube won't run without Google Play service, which are missing from your device"
When clicking "INSTALL" it should invoke Google Play Store, but this app does not work.
Clearing cache also does not work.
Please, any suggestions?

Hello, sorry for such a late response. I could assume you changed your mobile or found your own solution. But in case not, the way to go would be a package you have to install using recovery or fastboot mode. This must be prepared by a dev or somebody who knows how to deal with the file permissions and pack the apps you need properly so the flashing works. the apps must be in system level, that is why installing the apks does not solve your problem.
