Now that you've got the recovery working, you can try any other touch based recovery like PhilZ Recovery or PX Recovery and don't use stock ROM as custom ROMs are faster than stock ROM, now that you've got a custom recovery, it wouldn't be so difficult for you. :highfive: :fingers-crossed:
But first confirm that the recovery or ROM you are going to flash will work with Canadian Gio (GT-5660M) or not or you will have to use ODIN again.
If You Want to Keep TWRP, you can flash the updated version (Released Yesterday) from your current recovery from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2728689
as the version you currently have is one year old.

Dont Flash This as this is not stable yet. i have tested it and i was stuck in recovery until i flashed a new one Use PhilZ Recovery Which is also touch based and one word you will say after using this is AWESOME!!! BTW flashing an .img through terminal or flashing .zip through recovery is easier than flashing a .tar via ODIN

Hi,
I have a Bell Galaxy S3 that has TWRP installed right now, but for some reason, only about 1/4 ROMS I try to flash on it lately, doesn't work. I would like to give CWM a try again, but I can't seem to find a way to flash it back. ROM manager doesn't give me the option and I can't find an up to date flashable TWRP or ODIN .tar file.

I'm in a similar position with TWRP already installed but ROM manager gives me the option to flash CWM. If I use ROM manager will it still replace TWRP? I'm assuming it does, but I wanted to double check first.
PS I'm running an LG Optimius 4X HD, but a Google search for my question brought up this thread, which saves me starting my own.

I would not use Rom Manager. I would download a flashable zip made for your phone and flash it from TWRP. Alternatively, you could install it via adb/fastboot.

Yes. Personally, I used the latest release of Philz Touch which is based on CWM. There is a version that can be flashed via a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM) and a tar version that can be flashed in the PDA section of desktop Odin.

I get incorrectly centered letters "T210" and there's exclamation sign in yellow triangle when trying to enter download mode or recovery after installing TWRP recovery.tar.md5 for T210 with ODIN.

Attached is an attempt at CWM 6.0.4.5 for T110 ported from the T210 version.
I compiled the T110 kernel from sources with a few modifications that I hope will make this work correctly.
I have not tested this recovery since I don't have a T110.
Make sure you have the stock T110 recovery that you can reflash in Odin if this doesn't boot (posted above).
Unzip the attached file and use Odin to flash the "recovery.tar.md5" file. Remember to uncheck auto reboot in Odin and boot directly to recovery when you get the "RES OK" message in Odin.
Please report back.
See my other recovery threads in the development section for how to use Odin to flash a recovery.
Flash at your own risk.
EDIT: Didn't work correctly. Attachment removed (will try again tomorrow).

Okay, I'm stressed. This is not how I planned it, I'll try to keep it short:
Wanted to do a full clean install of this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2504016
So what I did:
-Used odin (bootloader) to flash mj5
-Used odin (pda) to flash twrp
-Used twrp to flash rom
-Realised I forgot to wipe, so wiped everything, then wiped media seperate (enter yes to continue) then my N2 rebooted.
Now it's stuck in a boot loop. Teamwin screen keeps flashing every 5 seconds, never going into it.
-Re-flashed twrp via odin, didn't help.
Rom doesn't boot either, bootloop at samsung logo.
**** this is so not good for my stress levels
I have no clue how I broke twrp because I even re-flashed it via odin and still bootloop
Download mode still works thank ****
Okay good news, flashed philz recovery and works! Very happy that I have some sort of recovery back. Now flashing rom, hopefully it boots.
-First boot going on. Very happy now. Sorry for opening this thread, I get REALLY stressed REALLY fast. Once the rom is done booting (which looks like it's going to happen) this thread is not useful anymore, sorry!
-Booting for a few minutes now, stess level is rising...
-Still booting... damn!

well i took that file from freegee folder, maybe you must flash this file first
Download CWM OR TWRP without any hassle
Just download freegee(root) from Google play store and once installed and opened ....let it download the necessary....then just click on cwm or twrp as per ur wish ......u might then feel as if the app has frozen....but it is the process of downloading...... And once finished it will show flash successful ....
Works with 4.4.2?
I used the FreeGee app on stock 4.4.2 V20c earlier, but it bricked my device. Why is that? How do I install a recovery on 4.4.2?
i have a question on flashing the cwm recovery image, i had to go back to stock as i was soft bricked - i now need to install a recovery and i am sure that when i did this a few weeks ago on my g pro i used flashify and flashed the cwm recovery image through this app and everything works ed well, now i am trying to do it and it flashes the file but wont go into recovery - it says fastboot mode started but never goes into recovery, i also tried rom toolbox to flash it and not having any luck - anyone have a way to do this ?

I would like to install a CWM touch variant, is there a way to get it done with KK stock rom?
I know it needs to be "lokified", but I have no clue how to do this.
Is there any tutorial to do this?

Philz touch cwm is a good one, you can find here on xda, or via Google search. However, my personal experience with cwm touch variant on e980 is that it causes the recovery bootloop (where you just keeps on going back to the recovery screen). Version 6.0.47 is stable , and will not cause the boot loop say when you try to open the recovery by using the up volume + power buttons. This seem to be the issue too with the cwm provided by cm update in the developer's option. Read the postings in the Philz's thread if you want to know more about the recovery loop and the touch cwm.
I get wrong date and time whene i make a backup. I have a E986. How can i fix this?

This isn't normally required on the M8, unless its some quirk specific to MIUI (which is a ROM I don't a have much knowledge of).
Make sure your TWRP version is up to date.
Make sure your hboot is up to date.
Wipe user data and cache (default wipe in TWRP) before flashing the ROM.
Those are the most common reasons for no boot after flashing multiple ROMs.
I dont use TWRP. I use Philz Touch recovery.
Where can i download latest TWRP ?

That may be the issue right there. I know some folks are still using it, but Philz hasn't been updated in a long time. And since some newer ROMs have issues with older TWRP builds, I would assume the same would be true with Philz.
You can get TWRP here: https://dl.twrp.me/m8/
