Hi,
Screen glass of my device was broken and i decided to change it. Unfortunately i broke the flex ( i dont know its name) which is in red area. Can someone tell me what that part is and what it does. Now how can i fix it? Can i replace it or have to replace whole lcd assembly screen? Please show me the way to follow.

same problem
Hey have you fixed your hox yet? I've got the same problem and don't know what to do.
Recently, I'm been having problems with my phone in that the screen wasn't turning on. All I had to do was press the power b utton and re-awaken the screen, but now I can't. The odd part is that I can press on the screen and hear/feel the icons and apps being pressed. Any ideas?
more than likely the lcd has gone bad or the main flex cable

How much would it cost to replace either of those parts?

google it, ebay seems to have lcds ~20$ and flex ~35$
if wacking it fixes it then it could just be a loose connection and no parts needed, maybe open it up and check

No. I'd reset the phone and see if that helps, otherwise get it replaced.

Hello!
The Back and Menu buttons are stopped working on my LG Optimus G pro e980h and i don't really know why. It wasn't dropped on the ground or anything. Now, when i press one of thosse buttons, the phone starts the nearest application above the button. Do you know any solutions for this?
(Tryed to power off/on a lot of times but nothing happened.)
Thanks!

Digitizer means the whole display ? I mean like the lcd display ...you have change that ?
Just need a quick simple answer before i complete this. Is adhesive needed on the new screen needed when replacing a cracked one? If so what is suggested?
