Vibrate when ringing (m8) - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anybody let me know if there is a way to turn on vibrate when ringing on the m8 with a stock ROM? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Hey, how about telling us how to do it, please? Now that you mention it, I'd like to know too.
Thanks.

Your phone can't be in vibrate mode has to be in ringer mode
Setting>sound>Vibrate(vibrate feedback for calls) check box

Thanks. That was an odd and confusing way for them to describe the option.

Possibility of making camera flash go off when I receive a text?

My phone often does not vibrate when I receive a text and I often have it with the screen facing down. I know with useless iOS it is possible, so I would assume my droid can do it as well, but I have now idea how to do it...... Any ideas? I am running CM10. Thanks

You turned vibration on in sound settings or in SMS settings?
What ROM are you using? Or are you stock?

Not sure if this is the same issue, but I replaced the TouchWiz messaging app with the stock AOSP app. I don't get notifications or a vibration for messages while I'm still in the messaging app. Even with the screen off. I have to make sure to exit out to the home screen before locking my phone. It's been driving me crazy.

Open the phone application, then tap the settings button to the left of the home button. Then choose "Call settings." From there you want to select "Call alert." From that menu uncheck "Alerts on call."

Oo sorry for confusing you by right clicking I meant the menu key
Settings/sound vibration on ring- uncheck.
Also on same screen -open vibration intensity and slide rhe bars all rhe way left and you should take care of your issue.

Did you read the first post dude? We don't want to eliminate the vibration all together, just eliminated while on a call.

BlinkFeed using battery even when off

Hi, my M8 seems to be using quite a lot of power even though it's turned off. For example, overnight whilst I was asleep, it used 30% of the total power consumption. Anyone know why this is happening? Here's a screenshot from just now, after I'd reset my phone.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using xda app-developers app
BlinkFeed is also the name of the launcher.
Thanks mate!
