Hi, my M8 seems to be using quite a lot of power even though it's turned off. For example, overnight whilst I was asleep, it used 30% of the total power consumption. Anyone know why this is happening? Here's a screenshot from just now, after I'd reset my phone.

BlinkFeed is also the name of the launcher.
Thanks mate!

As new sense has fully new power menu UI and doesnt show screen on time any more (in terms of tracking for power eater its much more efficient), I'm looking for an app, that will show my screen on and stanby time since last charge. I really want compare these two parameters with old sense and ics....any ideas?

Well, mate. Mediaserver wakelock isn't that much of a concern. Listening to music, touch sounds, type sounds, whatever that produce a sound will cause in waking phone as mediaserver wakelock.

If you listen to music, and/or use other sound producing apps, that's normal, mate.
Be aware that programs which can produce sound, even in silent mode cause wakelocks as they need audioout. For example, games. Downloading data of a game, even when the screen is off keeps awake your device with audioout wakelock.

Anyway to keep the battery from draining so ridiculously fast?

What ROM are you running? What apps are you using frequently? A lot goes into determining how to get better battery life

If I've helped, please hit the thanks button

Yes sorry for lack of info. I was working and only had a second! I'm currently stock completely. Just got the phone yesterday from a friend who bought it but decided he wanted an iPhone 5s. I'm not using anything really. Made a phone call this morning for about 15 minutes. And a little texting here and there. But when the phone is screen off and sleeping the battery is just draining like crazy. I'll post stats in a second.

I believe it's power and volume down if you're on sense and power and home with aosp.
I disabled wifi so I didn't get that constant wifi notification crap. It helped a little. I plan to s_off and root the phone as soon as possible so I can start disabling things to help too.

Hey, how about telling us how to do it, please? Now that you mention it, I'd like to know too.
Thanks.
Your phone can't be in vibrate mode has to be in ringer mode
Setting>sound>Vibrate(vibrate feedback for calls) check box

Thanks. That was an odd and confusing way for them to describe the option.
Bought a HTC One m8 today and when the battery gets low the notification light starts to blink red, any way to disable it? Couldn't find it in the settings.
