Some guy named @DataUnit promised us, that he would start building it for us and now he is just up and vanished.
Sent from my GT-I9082 using Tapatalk Pro.

I never promised it to you guys, but I promised myself to build it for our device!
I have some Internet problems like Bandwidth and other problems. When I fixed them, I will start developing.

I'm closing this project, since I have no success in this project.
Sorry people. Other developers may make this happen.

Sense 4 Port

Im looking for help in porting over a Sense 4 Rom from the Evo LTE. Im following the guide posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1625862. I tried asking a few great developers for some help but I can understand them being busy with the Jelly Bean leak. I just want to make sure I got everything correct before I try to flash this!!! If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
I don't think its possible. These guys tried and:
The developers of Sense4all tried everything to fix the main bugs on every device, but only 2 major bugs seem unpossible to fix for the developers. Almost every developer for Galaxy S, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Nexus S and so on, tried to get rid of the bug but nobody found out why it won’t work.

Need some guidance on a building a ROM for the E4GT

Okay so I'm going to keep this simple and clean Lol
I'm currently getting ideas for two ROMs I would like to develop for the Epic 4G Touch
But I'm new to the Android dev scene
I'm proficient in Java and C++
But idk where to start in the android deving world
If anyone could point me in the right direction maybe tutorials websites I don't mind reading a big page of information, it would be much appreciated
Well the first ROM I need to wait for Jelly bean source for what I want to do
But I'm getting ideas together for an AOSP 4.2.1 based ROM of my own like I will actually code every tweak myself
And I'll get permission from Dastin to use his cm10.1 as a base first but I just need some guidance on where to start
I am currently running Linux Mint KDE its based off of Ubuntu and i would not mind switching to Ubuntu if need be
i have two computers a laptop and a desktop i try to dev on my Laptop but it takes longer to compile as it has crappy specs
so i might have to bring this to my desktop
So thanks for everyone that helps me :3

Not to my knowledge. That would require heavy Samsung framework.
Next time you post a request, please put in the general section.
Thanks
Yahh. Today I found about it and I really like it. So I tried many times to port this to my ion. But i am with no luck. Some files they use is not in sony file system. So it may be impossible, if it is possible also it will be very difficult job. But I will try again. I wish I had more knowledge.
+ please post Question & REQ in Q&A forum.

Android M

I know how you can get an Android M Developer Preview on the Nexus 7 2013!!!!
Just download the files ( https://android.googlesource.com/device/asus/flo/+/refs/tags/android-m-preview ) and do what you would do to make a regular factory image!! My laptop can't do this stuff so if someone reads this please download it and make a ROM and a factory image.

1. This is the wrong place to post this kind of stuff...
2. It's not even possible to use this because Google hasn't posted the full Android M source so we can only see what has been changed so far.
I don't know where else to post it, because this is the "Development" category and this is basically telling you developing
Also the Android M Developer Preview for Nexus 7 2013 has the same amount of files as the one for the Nexus 6, if not more.
It doesn't matter how many files it has. They haven't released the source code so you can't do anything with it.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Free mobile app
I know it doesn't matter how many files, but they do have AOSP out for it. It's worth a shot to try it and see
If the thing I'm asking for can't be done, then can someone do a port? I'd really love to try M. I don't have the money for a Nexus 9 or a Nexus Player, and I just got my TURBO in February so I can't get a new phone for a couple of years

No source means no source.
What if it IS the source?
There might be a source somewhere

Then how did the Nexus 7 2012 get it, but it's a port not built from source
Maybe we could use that to help port it to the Nexus 7 2013
Here's the port for the 2012 Nexus 7.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7/general/rom-t3122158
I've already seen the Android M for the 2012. XD
Good for you! So have I, its called YouTube and its littered with bugs. Basically unusable.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Free mobile app
Good for you getting it from YouTube! I got it from the guys Twitter account!
I heard that the WiFi doesn't work, and its just to see Android M!

So you want someone to work hard (very hard) to try and port a broken rom just so you can see m? Yeah we are going to line up to do it for you. Lol. Might be time for you to learn some basic Android development and porting.
Its been time for that. XD
