Dear Sir,
I am Md. Mahbub Hossain from Dhaka, BANGLADESH.
On last 28th March, 2014, I was in China, I bought a LG-F180L (KOREAN) Mobile Phone. It was running well on Android 4.0.4.
While I was my Hotel, I log on to Hotel's WiFi and in my Phone I got Update (OS). After I Update "Scanning Media Files" running all the time. I can not access Camera, I can not Access any other programs as it says "you have no free space". It shows my Storage 0.00B. But when I go to "APPs", it shows 25GB Free. But except this, every where it says or shows that no free space. I can not use my Phone from that time.
I rebooted so many times, I Factory Rest so many times, I have done the Hard Rest so many times, but nothing happens.
Yesterday I changed the OS with Singapore .kdz (now my phone shows Model E975, in stead of F180L), but still the problem remains. Then I Upgrade by LG Tools and it returned me to "LG-F180L" with "Android Version : 4.1.2" , Baseband Version : APQ8064/MDM9x15M , Kernel Version : 3.4.0 , Build Number : JZO54K , Software Version : F180L20t . But still I m facing the same problem "Scanning Media Files", and no access to Camera, and so many other programs. As it still shows 0.0MB Storage, but in "Apps" it shows 25GB free. When I connect with PC, it shows the Internal Storage is 0.00KB. No access to internal storage.
Will you help me...... PLEASE......

Hello,
I have a HTC Desire, and I have recieved a new sd card recently(A-Data 16gb Class 10) and reinstalled my rom(StarBurst), just the way i have installed it before, and when i tried to install whatsapp it told me this message:
"Sorry, WhatsApp was unable to complete initialization. Please check that you are connected to the Internet and try again."
Please note that I am constantly connected to the internet, whether its WiFi or 3G, I tried both..
I can recieve messages but I cant really read them, it won't let me in the program.
Has any of you encountered this error message before?
Thanks,
Omer.
I have a similar problem. Installed NAND on my HTC Leo, when it resetted to some sort of factory state (everything was still installed, messages were there, only the customisation was lost).
AFter that i opened WhatsAPP and am getting the same error now. I am connected to the internet, cause im posting this reply while using the wifi hotspot on my phone.
i just got same problem on my nexus one, i tried to move the app from SD to phone memory and it worked
worked for me
settings----.apps---->whatsapp--->clear cache, clear data. force stop n restart. should work
hope i helped
i was having problem with cm7.1.5 so installed cm7.2...
on 1st start of whatsaap it gave me msg about having custom rom can create problem as it does not support whats app..
then also i proceeded n i was facing same problem.it was stuck on initializing.
then after lots of different tries it worked on one trick...
what i did was :
1.1st backup all my contacts(mobile).
2.then cleared data in contact storage in manage apps.
3.installed whatsapp 2.8 which was backup earlier
4.clicked "Agree and continue" then entered my mobile no. but,it told me that whatsapp new version must be installed.
5.i then upgraded whats app from play store.
6.After installation was complete i opened it and it was started from same step of application of entering mobile no.
7. i entered no. , restored data from old backup of whatssapp, all messages were restored.
now my Display Picture , Name got appeared.
8.clicked next, shortcut of whatsapp was created. in 1 sec it got initialized, n continue button got appeared.
9. now i was having messages but no contacts(whatsapp).
10. now i restored contacts(mobile) from softwere i was using. and now after opening whatsapp m having contacts.
It worked on my phone try it... best of luck...
Hi
Okay I know this is another 'I have a market problem' thread. But I really have no where else to turn any more.
Details:
Phone: HTC Wildfire S
Carrier: Orange UK
Software Version: Android 2.3.5 / Sense 2.1 / Build No. 2.13.401.2 CL19017
ROM - Stock
Rooted? - No
SD Card - Samsung 2GB
Issue:
This is my girlfriend's first Android phone and she has been happily downloading applications from the market for the past few days (note: the phone was purchased new about 3 weeks ago). She has had no problem up until 2 days ago in which she told me the apps wouldn't download.
I looked into it and found that once pressing the 'accept permissions' button the download status icon would appear and disappear in seconds. She was at this time using Market version 2.3.6 (as she was also still running Android 2.2 if my memory serves me well).
I updated the android software to 2.3 - but it did not update Market. I tried the old trick of 'deleting cache' - but that had no effect. Today I installed the update for market via AndroidSDK. It was then after installing Market 3.4.4 (I have a HTC Sensation and this is the market version I use) that I was receiving the 492 Error.
I have tried numerous things as well including:
- Clearing Cache for Market, and Download Manager
- Clearing Data for Market, and Download Manager
- Removing the ".####" folders from the SD Card
- Unmounting the SD Card while downloading
- Formatting the SD Card
- Restarting the phone 'cold'
However none of these have worked yet. The phone is not rooted (yet) so I cannot do a Dalvik Cache clear.
I don't want to try the 'Factory Reset' just yet as I feel that's a bit of an 'extreme' measure being that it would wipe all her applications.
Does anyone else know a way to resolve this? Or even what the '492 Error' is?
Thanks
(Just as a further note the applications are being downloaded through a Wi-Fi connection, which works just fine with my Sensation)

Try asking in the correct device section. Your phone is Wildfire S. This forum is for the original Wildfire.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I unlocked and rooted my nexus and tried to connect 3g dongle using otg so I installed an application that flashed something then the device turned off when I opened it it showed a message "operation didn't complete not enough memory" and the play store doesnt open any more when I open the gallery it says "no external sd card" and I cant open the camera, gallery, play store or any file explorer because the memory isnt identified but in settings it shows the free space 11 gb and I can install apps using nexus tool kit on through computer and youtube works fine so does other apps and when I connect the device to computer the memory size is unknown and cannt be opened.

If you don't have important info, do format, you even can do factory reset.

I guess it happened when you tried update ur system from ur phone. No need update Korean type like this cause, it will update from type 975. For you situation has solution. You have to download .kdz firmware Baltics version it`s (LG975 Baltics H ) or CIS A. Both of them will return your storage back. but before upgrade u should save ur original modem and after uprade need restore. Then u can use ur phone without any problem )
Thank you so much....

[Q] After factory reset, "unknown error code during application install -24"!!!
Hi Guys,
Couple of days back I did factory reset on my Canvas 4 and also formatted the internal storage.
But after reset I was not able to configure whatsapp, trucaller, and fb's messenger was installed but was not working(My phone was rooted at that time. ). So I did factory reset a couple of times, then also nothing happened.
Then I unrooted my mobile(through Framaroot) and now approx 80% of the apps are not getting istalled!!!
Even framaroot is giving the same error "unknown error code during application install 24".
I also noted that there is no folder named data in internal storage.
Please help.

If anybody else having the same problem and your provider is Tata Docomo then just do the following:
Goto Settings–>Mobile Networks–>Access Point Names–>
and select Tata Docomo GPRS .
----Done-----
Now IM's will work.
The problem is that Tata Docomo provides two internet settings by default. One is the Tata Docomo Dive In and the other on is Tata Docomo GPRS. If you have selected the Dive In one then you won’t be able to use this app as that settings doesn’t works with IM apps. So to use whatsapp you need to select Tata Docomo GPRS setting.
