Huawei P6 keeps rebooting in standby mode - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Hey everyone.
I'm really hoping someone can help me with my Huawei P6 Ascend.
For the last 2 days, my phone goes into a reboot cycle or switches off every time its on standby. When I'm using the phone (or when the screen is on) or if the screen is off, but I'm playing music, the phone is fine. But every time I press the sleep button on the side or the screen goes off normally, the phone either restarts itself, or switches off completely. It restarts or switches off within 30 seconds of going into standby, which is VERY frustrating.
I booted in safe mode, did a factory reset, and even installed the Chinese version KitKat OS. After Installing Kit Kat, the phone no longer restarts, it now just switches off completely once it goes into standby.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should do next?
Some other useful info:
- It started rebooting after I used the google maps app. I read that Jelly Bean sometimes rebooted when using GPS, so thats why I installed KitKat.
- Every time it would reboot in Jelly Bean, it would start in airplane mode. Now, with KitKat, it just switches off and I have to manually start it, but it doesnt start in airplane mode.
Please please help!

[Q] G-sensor randomly stops working, phone freezing, etc

I have a HTC Touch Pro2 (ATT) with the stock Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM installed.
The g-sensor works fine after you first boot up, and then completely stops working at some random interval. After this occurs, trying to calibrate the sensor results in the two animated levels freezing after first twitching a bit. Attempting calibration obviously does not fix the problem.
I tried using sktools to restart the g-sensor driver. The driver will apparently stop, but it will not restart.
The only thing that works is a reboot. Honestly, I wouldn't mind rebooting this damn thing every time but it also freezes for like 15 minutes after I restart it. If you hit the power button to put the phone to sleep right after booting up, it will remain asleep and not respond to anything for almost a half hour. Sometimes calling it will wake it up though... and then it freezes again when you put it to sleep if it's within 20 minutes of boot up. The service process (services.exe) and manila show high CPU usage during this time.
Also the notification manager does not start up automatically; its service needs to be started manually each time. Setting it to manual startup mode does not fix anything.

Stock ROM?
Have you tried some of the aftermarket ones? Some of the issues in the stock ROM were fixed by the community.
Have you tried a hard reset to see if there is an app messing with your phone?

[Q] HTC One X goes automatically stand-by

Hello,
My problem is that my HOX automatically goes stand-by. First i was on a RELOCKED Stock rom and when I open a app like Google Maps or every game my phone automatically goes stand-by. If I wait I see the lock screen coming up and if i wait a little longer it goes back in stand-by in 2 seconds.
When I try to unlock my phone is working fine till he must shows the app that I started then the same thing happens all the time. The only way to stop from this "loop" is open the call app from my lock-screen and then press home.
I thought if I install CM10 that problem will be over. but its only making it worse. Now is it every where and completely random when it happens.
Have anyone else the same problem or even better a solution ?
Thanks

Non-rooted LG G3 D855 suddenly stuck on boot / can't get into recovery

Last night at a party I go to take a picture by holding down the Volume Down button whilst locked. The camera app didn't pop up and subsequently my phone crashed. I thought nothing of it, but then it wouldn't turn off or recognise anything. Even when I popped the battery out and in. It's stuck on boot. So I let it run out of charge, go home, charge it and the little battery icon animation that goes round once you've turned it on gets stuck, I can't tell what the phone's percentage is - it just stays frozen. Stuck on this now instead of boot.
After about 10 minutes of it being stuck suddenly I got the error message:
[784680] Fastboot mode started
?!?! What gives? I only rooted it once but then flashed it to stock immediately when the phone first came out and I've left it as is since.
Any help is really appreciated. I need my phone for work tomorrow.

My phone did the same last week. Still haven't found a solution. Can't enter Download mode, as it hangs even there.

This is the same problem I have
Update: I sent it in for RMA. Will be receiving a replacement unit today. Seems like the only way around it, if a swap is the way to "fix" this.

[Q] Phone suddenly started freezing and rebooting, now stuck at LG logo.

Months ago I rooted and flashed a lollipop stock ROM. It's worked flawlessly ever since, so I doubt it's the cause of this problem.
Suddenly my (international) G3 has started doing a cycle of freezing, rebooting, staying awake for a few seconds and then freezing and rebooting again. This started happening this morning, while using the "reddit news" app. I don't think it's related to the issue. Now, after a few hours, it's stopping the boot cycle at the LG logo, and it doesn't seem to go anywhere from there.
Previously, when it did boot and stayed awake for like 10 seconds, it showed some strange behaviour. Wifi didn't turn on, the phone got pretty warm, and whatever mode of USB connection I chose, USB debugging never turned on despite being enabled in the developer options.
"adb devices" in windows cmd doesn't show anything in any part of the cycle, so I can't take a logcat. The phone isn't awake for long enough to do it on the phone either. How can I find out what's suddenly causing this? Has anyone else experienced it? Trying a hard reset via pwr + vol down just shows me the LG logo again.
Does it still go into download mode when you press volume up and plug in usb cable?

I assume so. I've never used it before so I'm not sure what it looks like - but I do see a little box in the middle of the screen saying "Download Mode", with a little graphic underneath.

Boots to logo animation, freezes & the speaker makes a harsh hiss for .5 sec then off

Boots to logo animation, freezes & the speaker makes a harsh hiss for .5 sec then off
Hi guys,
I've had no problems with my LG G3 since I got it.
I'm running stock 4.2.2 Kitkat, unlocked, bought from a retail store in Sydney (JB HiFi).
No rooting or anything else done to it.
My battery hasn't had any issues, still easily lasts the whole day.
The issue:
Today I pressed send on an SMS, the system froze for a few seconds, then powered off.
Pressing the power button did not turn it back on, so I pulled and replaced the battery and powered it on.
It starts booting, gets to the LG animation screen, it animation continues for a while, then freezes for a second and makes a loud/harsh hiss from the speaker for .5 sec then powers off.
Every time after it powers off I have to pull and replace the battery before I can power it back up
No water contact etc
What I've tried:
I've pulled the battery and left it out for 1/2 hour, then replaced the battery and powered it on, same issue dureing boot up
I've confirmed my battery is fully charged, and have tried powering it on while on battery
Removed the Micro SD card and tried to boot again, same boot issue
I've tried a factory reset, it starts to do the reset and then the same issue during boot up happens
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Update
So further to my original post:
After I left it off for about 5 hours I powered it back on and was able to complete the factory reset and boot into the Android OS and start using it again, after about 20 mins it froze up again and powered off
I took it to a phone repair shop and they advised they didn't think there was anything wrong with the hardware but was likely a LG OS software issue
Oh, and I should have posted 4.4.2 for the OS, not 4.2.2. Is Kitkat.
I'm wondering if I were to use LG software to update the OS to Android 5 if that might help? Or may make things worse...?
Upgrade didn't complete
So I tried to run the update through the LG software.
Got about 50% through and then the phone powered off again.
Subsequent retries don't even get that far, they get to about 2% and then the phone powers off.
Surely this is a hardware issue?
Ok, well, I've put it in for service...
