Hi,
I've just had a download, I believe to be Android 4.4. I let the download complete and then ran the install.
The problem I've got is that I have TeamWin recovery installed and when I clicked install, the tablet booted into recovery after displaying
Secure boot error
Cause: Device Unlock so book ok
Does anyone know what I can do to, at least, return to Android as I have a lot of stuff installed.
Thanks in advance.
Vince
I've just tried the Factory reset;
Volume Down + Power
Release Power on LG Logo
Press Volume UP and Power whilst holding Volume Down
and it still throws up the same boot error and jumps into TeamWin recovery.

Have an ATT Optimus G Pro and I am stuck on bootloop at the LG symbol. I have attempted all listed options as I have been reading and searching for 4 hours now. Please help me with this. One issue I think may be the issue is I only have access to a windows 8 machine. I am running a rooted stock rom with CWM installed. Haven't even deleted any bloat yet. Can anyone give me a new idea?

That would be awesome if I could make it into recovery. I can get download mode, but thats the best I can get. I can get to hard reset, but that just puts it in a different loop. Samsung is so much easier.

Update: I was able to get to hard reset (holding down volume and power keys at same time). This took me to cwm recovery and then I reflashed beanstalk rom that I was on (fortunately, it was still on my phone) and then reflashed gapps.

Hello guys a friend of mine has tried to flash a cwm recovery from unknown sources apk file. the bottom line is that the pad is bricked.
the pad doesn't boot, when connected to charger nothing happens and when i tried to enter download mode it was not possible. the pad isn't responding to anything.
the pad was rooted. is there any solution for this problem or we need to send it to lg???
It's too early to panic and give up on it.
Get it into factory recovery mode by the button combination. You can find instructions on this site (and there is even a video on YouTube). Just remember that it's kinda tricky (I personally did it more than a dozen times and sometimes it took me up to 15 min to do it right).
You may check this thread to force go back to stock ROM first, probably unbrick it during the process

Hi, I have an LG G Pad v500 with the same problem. I was trying to unlock my bootloader. Then I replaced my aboot to this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2698267, following this guide: http://www.grupoandroid.com/topic/1....t-todo-en-uno/.
I have an LG L70 D325 and it worked to me, so I tried to do the same with my LG G Pad.
Now my LG G Pad doesn't turn on. My screen is black and I can't access "Download Mode" nor "Recovery Mode" and nothing else. It's seems like my device is dead.
Can someone help me?
Is there something that I can do to fix my device?
I appreciate all kind of help!!!

Hi guys,
Happy New year
I am having the same issue here, did you guys get yours fixed?
Hi,
yesterday I tried to root my G Pad using the rooting script form Dalingrin. Everything worked flawless. Afterwards I tried to install CM using CWM. But CWM told me that I must install a recovery image manually, which I didn't know where to get. So I decided to put the tablet back to "stock". After downloading the image and installing it the LG support tool told me everything was done. But after a restart every single software I had (even the wallpaper and lock code etc.) was still there. Wasn't the recovery not supposed to clear everything or is this correct? Hope you can help me.

May be you not wiping data after return to stock.

This forum is for the LG GPad V500, V510 and the V810. Not for an LG Phone, you probably need to start with finding the forum here at XDA for your specific device.
I decided to downgrade my LG G3 D851 from Lollipop 5.0.1 to the stock firmware.
I followed all of the steps of to downgrade my LG G3 D851 to the tee.
Towards to end, you have to restart your phone at the blue screen, this is what I did by taking out my battery when the big red "3" came up. It looked like it worked fine in the video right? But, to my luck, it just created a boot loop that I cannot get out of.
The reasons that I cannot get out of this boot loop are:
1. Because the LG G3 is so messed up, my computer will only recognize it as an unknown device even with the drivers installed.
2. The only way as far as I can see right now to fix it would be to follow the steps of the SAME video that caused this.
Any solutions guys?
Sorry if I am being vague, I'm kind of new around these parts and to rooting. If you need any answers I can surely provide.
Thanks!
Okay see if you can cancan get ti download mode. Take out your battery, put it back in, then hold volume up and plug in the USB. You should see a firmware update screen. Once there use lg flash tool to flash back to stock via kdz or tot.

Hey! The reason that the boot loop was created in the first was BECAUSE I tried to flash back to stock. Also, even if I did try to do this, the PC would not recognize the device and would register it as an "unknown device" even if I have LG G3 drivers.
Do you mind sending a screen shot of what you see in the computer? Does your phone still go to download mode anyway?

Do you have access to a computer with windows 7 or possibly 8. From what I know WIndows 10 is not supported by lg drivers yet. This could have resulted in your brick, however you can try to uninstall the drivers and re install them.
should try running the lg suite on your win 10 machine in compatibility mode for an older windows
ive read lots of tools and stuff for the g3 and nothing on the g4
long story short i was using lgflashtool on a g3.
and my g4 got plugged up to the pc on accident and it booted download and started flashing ls990 tot before i could abort
now i got no download mode, recovery etc
Have you tried using LG Bridge? I'd install it, plug your phone in and click Software Update then click "Update error recovery" in the bottom right corner and see if that can get it fixed. Other than that I honestly can't think of another way to fix it but maybe someone with more experience will be able to help.
Any news? same situation for me.
Yes, updates please.
