Help!!! Bricked lg g pad - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys a friend of mine has tried to flash a cwm recovery from unknown sources apk file. the bottom line is that the pad is bricked.
the pad doesn't boot, when connected to charger nothing happens and when i tried to enter download mode it was not possible. the pad isn't responding to anything.
the pad was rooted. is there any solution for this problem or we need to send it to lg???

It's too early to panic and give up on it.
Get it into factory recovery mode by the button combination. You can find instructions on this site (and there is even a video on YouTube). Just remember that it's kinda tricky (I personally did it more than a dozen times and sometimes it took me up to 15 min to do it right).

You may check this thread to force go back to stock ROM first, probably unbrick it during the process

Hi, I have an LG G Pad v500 with the same problem. I was trying to unlock my bootloader. Then I replaced my aboot to this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2698267, following this guide: http://www.grupoandroid.com/topic/1....t-todo-en-uno/.
I have an LG L70 D325 and it worked to me, so I tried to do the same with my LG G Pad.
Now my LG G Pad doesn't turn on. My screen is black and I can't access "Download Mode" nor "Recovery Mode" and nothing else. It's seems like my device is dead.
Can someone help me?
Is there something that I can do to fix my device?
I appreciate all kind of help!!!

Please don't post the same thing in two threads. I have a different variant so it's best if someone else advises you.

Bricked LG Optimus G e975

Hi,
Accidentally bricked my phone on the start screen in the top left corner it says "Secure booting Error! Cause: boot certification verifiy". I think i forgot to unlock the bootloader, missed that step when searching online. Anyway, I tried getting it into download mode following the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624 without success. I can't even get into download mode using the instructions in that thread. Any ideas? Or is it really dead?
Thanks in advance.
Ok, finally did get it into download mode. Are the instructions in the thread mentioned above still up to date?
Have you installed that msxml file parser?. Use rear usb ports.

Problem solved. Had a few problems with the flashing application as it apparently always crashes on Windows 8 but found a Windows 7 pc and it worked perfectly.
Same issue
I am Nexus 4 and it accidentally bricked and also showing the same message as your phone does.... I need help in this matter

[Q] Update help please

Hi,
I've just had a download, I believe to be Android 4.4. I let the download complete and then ran the install.
The problem I've got is that I have TeamWin recovery installed and when I clicked install, the tablet booted into recovery after displaying
Secure boot error
Cause: Device Unlock so book ok
Does anyone know what I can do to, at least, return to Android as I have a lot of stuff installed.
Thanks in advance.
Vince
I've just tried the Factory reset;
Volume Down + Power
Release Power on LG Logo
Press Volume UP and Power whilst holding Volume Down
and it still throws up the same boot error and jumps into TeamWin recovery.

Brick QHSUSB_Dload

hello people today have inadvertently p880 flashed a kernel of 4x HD on my Optimus G E975. (I had had it for my wife on my phone saved)
Unfortunately, since then nothing works.
I no longer get the recovery I'm no longer in the fastboot and not even in the download mode.
Only when I connect the phone to the PC, the status lamp lights red briefly
The phone will be visible to a Windows XP PC as QHSUSB_Dload unknown device.
I Have found a Link on XDA but this is in chinese.
Does not come with the instructions further unfortunately.
Has anyone had experience with it?
Can I save the phone yet? Urgently need your help.
Sorry for my Bad Englisch.
Did you only flashed a kernel? Can you still get to the bootloader to flash kdz? If not you probably have an hard brick translate this page with google translate

Do you still have guarantee to return the phone to lg? Cause it might get fixed i dont want to let broke parts or what to get new one i think that is wrong but this is fixable you justneed the knowledge and the tools.

hard brick h811.... bdloader 9008 port need help

ive read lots of tools and stuff for the g3 and nothing on the g4
long story short i was using lgflashtool on a g3.
and my g4 got plugged up to the pc on accident and it booted download and started flashing ls990 tot before i could abort
now i got no download mode, recovery etc
Have you tried using LG Bridge? I'd install it, plug your phone in and click Software Update then click "Update error recovery" in the bottom right corner and see if that can get it fixed. Other than that I honestly can't think of another way to fix it but maybe someone with more experience will be able to help.
Any news? same situation for me.
Yes, updates please.

what model is it? if its FE170CG, you will need to go -- https ://www .smartphones. how/firmware/item/asus-fonepad-7-k102-fe170cg-raw-file -- for raw firmware file, asus flashtool and drivers.
the instruction will be on the site.
mine works after this fix, hope yours will too.
