Hi all,
How can I remove additional/unwanted languages except for English from Settings -> Language & input -> Language? Also, does it take up much space?
Thanks

Youu can try:
Go to Settings -> Input (change "Input method" to: Phone Pad). Next go to Options -> Languages (on the bottom) change "Database" to "Spanish". It's all.

Hi there,
quite a simple question: I flashed to a WWE ROM (Davideuck V5 ftm) that included GoogleMaps, of course in english.
I updated GoogleMaps (to 3.0.1.6), trying to get it in french. Unfortunately it remained in english.
Any way to force google maps to change language ? Can't figure out how to do this ...
Thanks anyway
Go to: Start -> Settings -> System -> Regional Settings and change your region to France.
Ahhh so simple
Thanks for helping out a noob
Cheers
Hello, how are you?
It seems that it is possible to add news dictionaries on ICS for the built-in keyboard, but my language is not available for download.
(In Settings > Language & input > Android keyboard settings > Add-on dictionaries, My language is not available to download).
I noticed that the Galaxy Nexus available in my country does have a dictionary add-on for my language installed, thus I was wondering whether it is possible to hack it and install it on my phone.
I mean, now there is a Galaxy Nexus available in my country and It does have a dictionary for my language installed on the built-in keyboard, Is it possible to hack(find out where this dictionary is installed and copy it) to install it on another phone?
I appreciate any help you can give me
someone?
Hello.
There are apps available that allow you change system locale and by doing so whole interface switches to the selected locale. This means that all these languages are already in the rom, so why don't they appear in the settings -> languages selection?
How can we add more available languages without need of 3nd party app?
Thank you.
Hi guys
How to keep only 3-4 languages i need, i can't find option to disable spanish(for ex.)
There is not an option to disable keyboard languages. Also preinstalled languages can't be deleted. You can only delete languages that you download to your phone.
