Are there any VZ7 based Roms for Sprint G2 ? - Sprint LG G2

Hi all....I was wondering if there were any 4.2.2 VZ7 based Roms because I looked through all of them on the Development thread and unless I overlooked it I didn't see any.

Nope. All VA or v8 (no VC-yet)

Hmmm, well I guess I'll settle for the V8 Roms then...I know we can't ask for the best and they should all be pretty stable if they are stock based but which one has the coolest features and less bloat?

best one imo, is d3rp (VA based)

I just put that on last night as a matter of fact and it is very "de-bloated", that part I like. But, I don't like the Launcher that comes with it. I don't know if it is the launcher that keeps me from using live wallpapers or something else but I plan on getting on the d3rp thread today to read more of it to see what I can find out.

Id like to be wrong (again) but MIUI is so different and better... Other roms just seem the same old look only with different "funny" names (Jelly Bomb rom) and acid rock looking wall paper to make em look different.... See for your self.

I've used MIUI on a few devices. I never liked it much. Its merely ok IMO. I just stick with rooted stock on my GN2. I've tried JellyBomb and its just ugly lol.
The way we have the Sbrissen thread I would put up some money if a DEV who OWNS this phone will make a stable version of MIUI. I would not donate to someone porting this who does not actually have the Sprint GN2. Anyway, I guess it's a dead point because there doesn't seem to be anyone willing to take on the task.

The way everybody talks about Jelly bomb, its the best thing since sliced bread. Although I have it on my phone, I too think its the ugliest rom I have ever seen. The only reason I have it now, as there is a lack of anything else, atm.
I never used Miui, and would probably never use it. This phone really needs more Roms, period
I'd totally be down to run MIUI.

diffrence between 2 ROMs ?

I'm looking at PAC MAN rom ann the ParanoidKANGdriod, I don't really see a diffrence between the 2. Does one run smoother? is there a better battery life on one, more options on one than the other? I'm new to rooting and android (1st time having one) so this is all new to me. My phone is rooted and i'm currently running PAC MAN rom but i'm going to be on the lookout for diffrent roms and im willing to try anything. Thanks for bearing with me .... an android noob :silly:
Flash it and see
Seriously, it's really all personal preference. The only way to find out what's best for you is to try them.
In my school there was somthing called difference between ; where two objects were put on side by side and analyze features.
It matters what u want how you want.

Lean Kernel TW

Hey guys, is there a TW Lean Kernel for our phones?
I checked here: http://imoseyon.host4droid.com/s3/
But anything that says TW is from 2012.
Man that was difficult. I had to type "lean kernel i747" into Google, click the first link, click another link then copy and past ANOTHER link just for you.

Yeah man I know that link. I use it currently. It's for AOSP.
Since AOSP isnt TW, I was hoping for the TW version. I was browsing around and somebody mentioned that you can get lean kernel for TW, that's why I'm asking because I can't find it.

Most stable Non-TW Rom

Hello community! As title indicates, I'm looking for the most stable non tw rom to flash on my mother's phone.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Stock is the most stable. Sorry.
Other than that, opinions will vary ....all opinion.
Sent from my cellular telephone
If its for your mom...I recommend going stock. Best battery life, everything works as its supposed to. You can try aokp milestone 2, carbon 1.8, slim bean 8, cm10.1.3 RC. But Bluetooth is wonky on those ROMs and you're gonna hear complaints later on

Well its true. By my experience ....almost always gonna have some sort of issue with 4.2.2......probably not the best choice for the tech unsavvy.

"Most Stable" is a matter of personal preference and is based on a variety of factors.
As this thread is too similar to "best" rom thread, and users are expected to make their own determinations as to what is most "stable" or "best", this thread is closed.

Best Rom in your opinion

so instead of trying all the roms ill see what your favorite rom is. i hoped to use Android Revolution but it doesnt support verizon, so what rom has the best battery life is my main concern.

It'll be in your best interest to try them out. Any of the sense roms are great (ecliptic or any nusense). You'll find people that are lean towards one or the other...it's just personal preference. Couldn't tell ya about any aosp roms though. I'm one of the weird ones that thinks Sense is way better (and much more stable).
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
Battery life sense nusense by far has the best battery life. But tethering just had to much issues. Best tethering in a sense ROM is ecliptic.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
AOSP - DarkSlide
Sense - Ecliptic
GPE - Joelz port
I'm switching back and forth between DS and Ecliptic.
I hear Solar Flare is pretty decent.
Just trolling....Only way to find out what is the "best" is to try them all. The "best" is subjective and depends on your usage. But everyone's replies are pretty much stating that.
I'd vote for unsense as well. Fast and solid.

For the plain stock option, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485319. Comes with deodex/odex/debloat options as well.
If you want something a little different that's based on Sense 6, try out Bonestock or NuSenseSix.
Buckmarble's Vanilla builds.

I bet they are working on making the Rom with our official sense 6.0 OTA. It is just taking a little time. Their main thread doesn't say discontinued so it must still be active.
