I have the blue cyanogenmod guy mascot below the screen that says Samsung galaxy s iii when I reboot my phone. How did this get there and can that be customized?

What ROM are you on? I've run some ROMs that have a toggle for turning it off.

Also am I able to change boot animations etc with rom toolbox ?
Sent from my SGH-I927 using xda app-developers app
Unfortunately not because Samsung stock phones use a different boot animation format than other manufacturers.you will have to wait until someone takes the kernel apart and enables boot animation

Which means waiting for Samsung to release the source for the kernel, at some point around the official ICS update.

Not that I know of. You need to be on a stock kernel. You can use agats repack stock. Then change you splash screen. It will be set for good, so you can go back to whatever ROM you want.

How long did it take to boot after flashing? I'm on synergy r3 also and it doesn't seem to want to boot after flashing. Seems to get stuck in the Samsung logo screen.

Not sure what is up with synergy r3. When this was first opened I could flash theme without issues. I have since flashed many other roms so I did a clean install of synergy and it would not boot. Wiped and restored a backup of synergy r3 and got massive force closes. I played with different ways of flashing (recoveries, backups, wipe/not wipe, etc) never got it to work.
Although I have moved on to smoothest rom imho 1.2. Was able to install theme plus it has some cool things added like custom air command icons and most issues have been fixed.

Same here just finished restoring phone after trying to flash this theme on synergy r3. Will try a different rom
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
The issue with tbis theme is it was built for the note3 so the images and things in the zip are all different that will be an issue and will cause the fcs and other things mentioned
Thanks,

I'm sure that my volume buttons work fine, in CWM or PA Ui it works great.
I convinced that the problem is Fastboot itself
