Major hard brick.

Hi all. So I have my mates phone and he tryed to put a muiu ROM on and it has currpted the phone. No power from charger but says on a black screen
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue .please select a recovery mode in lies. It flashes up eery 5 secs . is this fixable I have no further info. Uk unlocked model .
Any help appreciated .

Try this, pull out the battery, press the download mode combination(volume down, home button and power button) and while holding them insert the battery back again, if you are able to access download mode like that you might have a chance of unbricking your phone

That dosent sound like a hardbrick just a stuffed flash, put your Note 2 into download mode and reflash with ODIN should come back to life just fine. Do as mmk92 suggests pull battery and try and get download mode up.
Make sure u use the sammy cable for the note 2 not some cheap one and use a back USB port on your PC rather than front or a usb hub they can screw up the flash due to lots of reasons... good luck.

[Q] Huawei Ascend P6 problem: stay on Huawei LOGO

Hallo,
Maybe someone can help me. My problem is that the P6 keep continually showing Huawei LOGO
I cannot do anything! The problem is as well with “adb”, no connection between USB and my PC.
Phone say “waiting for devices”.
I have tray many different options, but nothing is working…
I am waiting for any possibilities.

Many thinks:
In first place root with SRS one click, then I have tray install KITKAT on it.
And now is not working.
Next step was 3 week on Google and XDA without any result.
He is still not working.

So you updated to KitKat and after that it is stuck? And which KK firmware do you wanted to install?

Yes, I use OMNI rom, but this is not important, because for this moment I cannot go to recovery or fastboot.
So, for my phone the adb is not working.
Any recovery from “SDCARD\dload” or any button combination is as well not working.
I am really looking for another solution – a miracle.

Dont use adb in fastboot..instead of adb always use fastboot..and simple way to put your mobile in fastboot mode is to reboot the device and press volume down button untill it will show huawei ascend logo...and once it shows huawei ascend logo and strucks there it means that you are in fastboot mode..then run fastboot commands from terminal..

im stuck on logo aswell. but i am unsure how to fix it. it keeps saying the phone is in lock state when i press all the buttons on boot. is it possible to fix?

hi.i want to help u,so u need to Liston very carefully
first of all.adb commands wont work,but fastboot commands work
so press volume down +power buttons
phone will restart but u r in fast boot now
plug ur usb cable to the phone.u have the adb programs right ?
so in the environment like cmd windows.install a stock recovery from the page.using >>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
so u don't need adb commands.just flash the recovery using fasboot from surdu's page
if it said:wating for devices:it means u r not in fastboot mode.(my third line)
if u r in fastboot and still not connected to the computer then u dont install the p6 driver correctly.
u have to install the p6 driver or simply install hisuite from huawei site
when u flash the recovery.img and its done >>>in your sd card ut kk beta in ur dload folder and inside UPDATE.app
press volume down +volume up +power button to go to recovery
it install the new rom

Help... My Samsung SM-T700 are bricked

Hi,I have Installed a [ROM][KITKAT][UNOFFICIAL] Cyanogenmod 11 for SM-T700 16gb yestrerday and now i cant do nothing with my tablet.
The TOUCH system dont work then i cant go to TWRP for my last backup/restore i do or making anything with my tablet,nothing work...i cant power off the tablet to go to TWRP,cant use any apps or power off the tablet.(sorry my bad english im french canadian lol) Any help are welcome... Thanks !

Try to hold down power + volume down/up for 30secs. One of those got me my tab powered off before

Warning. .. yesterday when im doing a restore backup with the last twrp version,... the restore was not finish and my &&*&%/#@ tablet just stop working... no screen,.. and just black... dead.. hard brick.... no possibility to go in download mode or recovery... nothing work... just dead. and mo possibility to plug the usb to a computer because the usb is not recognizable. . So warning! !! I don't know why... ????

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab S SM-T805 Could Not Start After Upgradation With Odin

HELLO
i have smT805 but that is not start after upgrade with odin i have also try to recover emergancy firm with kies but failed to get that code after i try with odin and pick firmware of UK from sammobile and upgrade with odin 3.9 but somehow i was able to get into download mode but after instrallation it keep restart at point which shown in picture...
Any body who can help me i will be very thankfull to you . Plz Guyz

I think its trying to boot into recovery. Well I do see that knox isnt tripped either. Try holding power, home, vol up and down buttons at the same time and it should force a reboot

The only thing I can think of is flashing a custom recovery. But you still have warrenty as knox isnt tripped. Perhaps you can take it into samsung service center or call one? They should fix it for free as you havent tripped knox.

To solve this problem there is option (requires much time can be several hours):
1. Updating to the latest version of KIES
2. Run the KIES
3. Turn on your Tab and connect it to PC with KIES.
4. KIES Menu Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation -> Model name SM-T805 -> OK -> S / N (Serial Number of your Tab) -> OK -> OK -> OK
5. Next step by step according to the instructions KIES

M not in my home contry right know i purchased it from UAE nd i also dont want to root this device ... is there any other way?

M following your sequence but the problm is i cant turn it on it keep restarts even cant get into recovery mode so how can i connect usb whn it cant connct with kies

1. You can take the Download mode (ODIN MODE) with use of buttons, how in the second photo of your first message? In this mode you also have continuous restarts?
2. If you can take the Download mode (ODIN MODE) with use of buttons, and you have no restarts in this mode, so with Download mode (ODIN MODE) started you have to execute par. 1-5 from the message #6 for restoration of an original firmware with original region code of CSC..
3. If you can't come into the Download mode (ODIN MODE) with use of buttons, so for run Download mode you have to use resistor JIG 301 kOm for this purpose (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/help/how-start-download-mode-resistor-jig-t2999838). Then if you have no restarts in this mode, so with Download mode (ODIN MODE) started you have to execute par. 1-5 from the message #6 for restoration of an original firmware with original region code of CSC..

My Download mode is working well , problem is that when i install official firmware from sammobile it keep restart after installation at that point which i shown in picture 1. I think its tryng to enter in recovery mode which is not accessible.
I tried to follow ur above mention way but it take too much time,
sometime downloading is stuck plz give me any easy way to get out from this mess

Sir if your Download mode works well, then the easiest way to restore your Tab - is to run the Download mode and then execute p. 1-5 of the post #6. Now you do not need to install any official firmware from Sammobile. At this stage it can give you new problems (for example, loss of IMEI). Now for repair the problem of your Tab you need to install the official firmware for original region and CSC codes, which were initially installed on your Tab. This is important! To you will be helped by KIES (this program don't love here, but sometimes it does its job very well), which will find the right firmware using the model type and serial number of your Tab. You have to decide if you need it. Try to do this at least once, but for use of this option of repair you will need patience and good the Internet connection as it can take some hours. I do not think there's a quick way to solve this problem.

Help - No recovery

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me or advise. My sis has a s4 mini and she tried to do a software update but didn't check her battery level and switched off whilst updating.
Now it won't turn on and I can't get into recovery to put another rom on. I tried to put on recovery via odin but it won't let me, I think I needed to have USB debugging on which I can't do now.
I can access download mode and whilst odin recognises the phone it just hangs after pressing start. On the phone it says write protection on or something like that.
Is it possible to fix this phone or am I out of luck.

try Kies Emergancy Firmware Recovery tool, lots of tutorial on tar net.
