On the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, I have my main profile and I created another profile for my nieces/nephews/ Family to use. My problem is they can access my pictures and other not so holy media. Is there an app or any support to prevent family from seeing other profiles media? Any help is appreciated.

Might need to use separate SD cards.

Hey all,
Anyone give those Samsung NFC TecTiles a go with their GalNex? It looks like really neat stuff!

For what they are, the tags are overpriced. You can get tags for about 1/3 the cost from Tagstand.

Which app do you use to customize the NFC tags?
Sent from my AOKP Nexus using xda Premium
Yeah, the tags are really over priced... but they get the job done. I picked some up at my local Sprint store for me and my dad, (he has the Evo LTE) and they work fine.

I also can confirm, just download the tectile app and configure them to what u want

i ordered a box of them from samsung with my 50% off coupon code.
however, i've never used nfc before outside of wallet.
if i set one to toggle wifi, gps, start car dock and put it in my car, when i scan it once to activate car mode, if i scan it a second time when i leave the car, will it
Only one way to find out... mind sharing the coupon code? Is it for Samsung.com?

I have played with the Tec Tiles. I hear that you can use the app in conjunction with Tasker to do more powerful things. Anyone know anything about this?

Is there a way I can put configuration on these other than using the TecTile app?
I want to put corporate settings for a wifi network on there, so the user simply adds their username and password and the rest of the network is setup. Is this possible?

Ok so I figured out I can screen record on S-Note in the app but how would we go about sharing that as a video it only gives me options to share as an image and a S-Note file... say I wanna share it via twitter or gmail is that possible.. ???
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Just post how to screen record!
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Do you have the possibility to save it as a video to your SD card? Then you could use a file browser to share it.
AFAIK there is no such option except if you share the .snb file
I just Googled it... seems like it's a common problem with Galaxy Tab and original Note users too. Didn't come across a solution though!
Only way to share was open screen cast start recording play the s note clip back crop the video and send it from screen cast....blah stuff that Lol.. thanks anyway folks

Ok got most of the space back. Space was taken up by app dumpster (deleted items kept in storage) duh lol but the media storage remained the same even after deleting the pics from the app.

For pictures use the g+upload feature and any pics under 2048*2048 are free to stir as well as videos shorter that 15 minutes. G+also has the ability to auto size then to the max free size as well.

I'm just using the direct upload to my Dropbox. If I need space, I can just delete the stored ones on the phone and use Dropbox with its own gallery. I also like the integration with windows.
My other clouds:
gDrive for titanium backups
Skydrive for easy document sharing with windows 8 and office 13
Box for anything
I find that every cloud services has its own positives and negatives, but couldn't find an aio solution which suits my needs perfectly. However... As long as it's free
Dropbox
Box
My computer (doesnt count but I like it most haha)
Box - 50GB
Dropbox - 51.1GB
SkyDrive - 25GB
Google Drive - 5GB
SugarSync - 6GB
I would suggest managing these cloud drives by using 'SanDisk Memory Zone'.

Google+ for full res photo backup. Unlimited storage
Google drive- is it 5gb? carbon backups for all devices.
Dropbox-65gb (HTC incentives) for whatever
Mega- 50gb for whatever. This is the new mega upload. Same owner.
Box-50gb free from nexus 4 incentives.

I used Kies. One click backup. One click restore.
Wont restore apps to a warranty device though.
