Use Odin 3.07. Run it as Admin if using Windows. Download the NB4 Firmware to your desktop. Inside the .zip will be a "M919UVUFNB4 HOME.tar.md5" file. Extract it to your desktop.
Remove the battery from the phone for about a minute. Put the battery back into your phone and hold down the Vol DOWN + Home + Power buttons until you get to the Download mode. Press Vol UP to enter it. Connect your phone to your computer via USB and wait for Odin to show it in the COM: section. UNcheck Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time. Click on the PDA tab and load up the "M919UVUFNB4 HOME.tar.md5" file on your desktop and wait for it to verify md5 (it will freeze for a little bit). Then click Start and see what happens. If it succeeds and says PASS, unplug the phone and hold down the power button until the device turns off and reboots itself. It will be 100% stock once you let it do it's thing and prepare the files.

The kernel not seandroid enforcing message is 100% normal after rooting your phone. That shouldn't have caused you any problems. Try restoring your phone back to stock firmware from above and see if that works. Then proceed to rooting the device again.

Make sure you restore to stock firmware and let the phone boot up at least once before you proceed to root it. Do NOT root it directly after flashing the stock firmware in Odin. If your phone hangs after the seandroid message, pull out the battery and put it back in, and hold Vol UP + Home + Power to boot into the stock recovery and select wipe data/factory reset and then reboot device.

Sweet! You can use CF Auto Root from here
http://download.chainfire.eu/328/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-jfltetmo-jfltetmo-sghm919.zip
Just load it into the PDA slot and let it do it's magic. Make sure to do the same exact thing and UNcheck auto reboot and f. reset time and manually reboot the phone by holding the power button down.
Glad you got it working.

Bro ask all the questions you want. This is a community to help other people. The first thing you should do is install a custom recovery such as TWRP or PhilZ Touch Recovery. I prefer TWRP since it gives less installation errors for some ROMs. Once you install TWRP make a nandroid of the stock firmware and wipe everything. System/Data/Cache/Dalvik-Cache etc. and then install Wicked.

OK first off, u make a nandroid? Restore if u did. Second, if not, u have the stock Odin file? Third, you have a link to the exact rom u flashed? All in all ur just soft bricked so don't stress it. If its needed, here's the stock file: http://samsung-updates.com/get/1917/Samsung_Firmware_SPH-L710_SPR_L710VPALEN_Android_4_0_4.html and you need this to flash it: http://samsung-updates.com/Odin307.zip

can you boot into recovery mode? pull the battery. put it back in... but instead of just pressing the power button you will press volume up + home button + power button at the same time. you will see blue letters on the screen for a short moment... release all 3 buttons and wait... hopefully you will see the sgs3 screen then boot into recovery. from recovery you should be able to wipe/flash etc.
if recovery wont work...
pull the battery. put it back in... but instead of just pressing the power button, try to boot into download mode. to boot into download mode you need to press volume down + home button + power button at the same time. if you can get into download mode then you can use Odin to reflash a custom recovery. then boot into recovery.. flash wipe data.. wipe cache.. and reflash rom of choice.
i'm sure there's more options.. perhaps even better options.. i'm just providing one of them.

OK try flashing again. Ur not in bad shape might have just forgot to wipe something. Wipe data/factory reset. Then go and wipe system as well. Reflash the ROM and reboot because unless the DL was bad that ROM is ok ( running off it now) . If it fails again follow my link and DL those files.

OK I gta assume its a bad DL then especially if Ur on slow internet. My files will fix ya up. Boot into download mode as mentioned above (voldown+home+pwr) then volup to accept the warning. Plug in and flash. You'll be back at stock. That file goes in the PDA slot in Odin btw
ok I dowbloaded it and when i try to excrate the file is says its corrupt of in an unknow format.. how do i add a zip file to odin?
You have to extract the .tar file from the .zip you downloaded. If Ur receiving that message sounds like a bad DL which was probly the culprit behind Ur initial problem. That zip file should open right up and you should see the tar file in it

Okay so I rooted my phone with Odin and had to use kies. I've had an iPhone for a while and I've done all kinds of jail breaking. But I decided to get a galaxy s3 and I like it much better. After I rooted my phone I downloaded CWM touch off the play store. I flashed my ROM which was the stock ROM. Next I clicked on the cwm recovery and my phone just turned off. I had to go into Odin download mode to turn my phone back on. Now every time I try and go into recovery mode the Samsung symbol appears and then it crashes. So I cannot go into recoveryode at all /: please help someone.. I'm kinda new to this btw. Thanks

Each of these proposed solutions requires the phone to be in recovery or download mode, though - what if the phone will not go into either? My set is acting just as the OP described - flashes "SAMSUNG" then goes black - and will not go into either mode.
First off never flash from market rom manager. Second off u now have to dd a recovery to the block. And once u do that u can get recovery. Download should be untouched if u lost download ur screwed
im on my phone. expect terrible typos.

Ok so I went to go flash a new ROM called Liquid Smooth, doesnt work at all. Which is fine, figured I would just go back to Codename or FreeGS3 since i made a nandroid of both. Attempt to boot into recovery n the phone will not, so that sucks. So I then try to go through Odin and put the stock ROM tar file on my phone n just re-root the phone again from scratch. Put the stock ROM on the phone, Odin says it passed, it reboots and is stuck on the Samsung loading screen. Tried multiple times through Odin and the samething continues to happen. My phone is now a paperweight and useless. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I almost dont want to assist based on the title of your thread. your phone is not a paperweight. You need to wipe data so the rom will boot. Flash the custom recovery below in odin and boot into it after the odin flash. As soon as that screen goes dark immediatly press volume up+home+pwr. youll get in

Yea do this but before flashing the recovery in ODIN un-check the Auto Reboot option so you can pull the battery after the recovery passes. If the last thing you flashed was the stock Odin file you now should have stock recovery

My custom binary count is at 10, idk if that has anything to do with it not being able to boot into recovery.

Download the NB4 firmware from Shiny's thread linked above and move it to your desktop. Put your phone into download mode. Open ODIN (I prefer to use either v1.85 or v3.07, but you can use the latest 3.09). Connect your phone to your computer and wait for it to appear in the COM: window. Click on the PDA button and load up the firmware you downloaded from Shiny's thread. UNcheck everything that is already checked. Make sure nothing is checked. Click Start and wait for everything to finish. After you get the Success/PASS message, unplug your phone and hold down the power button for about 5-10 seconds until the screen turns off then release the power button. Let it reboot on its own and your phone should boot up with no problems.

By the sounds of it I don't think he can reboot into recovery at all. It sounds like it's just stuck at the logo screen with the recovery booting message and won't go past that. I was going to suggest he flash a custom recovery or do a factory reset but didn't think that would work.

Yeah no doubt it'll work, but if he can't boot past that screen then something else is wrong. Never heard of this problem before. Just have to wait for the OP to reply.
I installed the phill recovery, remove the battery and awaken the next day to try enter in the recovery mode and it worked..... from there I install cyanogen and everything works perfect
Sorry for my english:victory:
I just got caught in a nasty bootloop so was reading your post, nothing I did would get me into recovery. Then it caught my eye that you had let the phone sit overnight and I bet you had that plugged in and charging, my battery was in the 30% range so swapped it out with a fresh one and it went right into recovery and I was able to flash what I needed to. Just an fyi.
