[Q] Stuttering issues with Note 3 N9005 Kitkat and Nova - Zooper Widget General

I've got issues with Zooper Widget and my Note 3 N9005 Kitkat with Nova Launcher. Zooper Widget causes major stuttering issues while playing games or normal laucher and apps use, not very frequently (each minute or so) but very nasty. As soon as I delete the widget I use (only one with clock/date and meteo infos) the stuttering goes away. If I use other widget (like chronus) I get no issues, but I really like Zooper and all the possibilities it can give to me.
I already tried to do a full reset of my phone.
What can I do?

[Q] Smart Notice / weather widget lagging

Hi all,
Since my G3 became very laggy in a week or so, lots of redraws when returning to the home screen, I decided to just get rid of the Smart Notice / Weather widget on the home screen. This pretty much fixed the issue with redrawing. Unfortunately I'd like to have this stock widget.. Does anyone know what's actually causing the problem with the widget? Also I prefer using the stock launcher..

Hello , LG's widget "Smart Notice" is using a lot of power from the device . It is using a lot of pixels and it is designed for 2K display so that's why you can see a few flashes from the widget or redrawing .
You can download the stock widget from 3rd party developers which has the same looks but it is more power efficient and it will not use so many pixels !

[Q] Nova Launcher on new Rooted Note 3

I am trying to finish phone setup, its a Note 3 unlocked from att and rooted. Kept having touchwiz problems and found this great launcher but it keeps crashing when trying to add widgets like a clock or sound/mute and others. When I add a widget it comes up 'nova launcher stopped working' and any earlier widgets added are corrupted or messed up.
Really want to stay with Nova prime as the grid setups are very good. Thanks for any reply.

How can I get Scrolling Homescreen w/o Nova launcher?

I think as we all know Nova Launcher just doesn't play well with the Edge screen. I like having my Edge screen available to me at all times. Its why i bought the phone but with Nova, it blacks it out.
I don't have a rooted or custom ROM and I don't have the time now till winter to play around with the phone. Is there any app that will let me have a scrollable background?
Since no one could tell me, just got a bunch of people viewing, I found the solution. I downloaded an app called landscape wallpaper. It allows for scrollable background. Only reason I ever used Nova launcher. Now that they dont' care enough about the Edge phone, screw it. TouchWiz 4.4.4 does Edge better than anything else out there

Nova Launcher on OP3 ?

I have nova Prime, have used Nova for years of phones. The one issue I have with it is no shadow feature on the stock icon them.. You simply can't have a colorful or brighter style wallpaper if you don't have shadows !
Does anyone else use nova launcher and agree/disagree and if not nova, what do you use instead of nova for shadow enabled icons ?
I use Nova..
And honestly I stopped using it as the oneplus home is sufficient for me.
I also have Nova Prime. I mostly use it because I paid for it but I do prefer the look of Nova compared to the OOS Launcher and I like being able to remove the google search bar from the desktop. Also the App Drawer is not to my liking in OOS. I have never worried about shadows for Icons but maybe you could message the Nova Developer and make a request for that feature. Peace
I use Nova Prime for one simple reason. I like the OP3 launcher fine myself, and actually like the shelf widget.. however, if you remove the google search bar, the space can't be used and causes the widgets to sit lower on the screen. No bueno.
Installed Nova and setup and after a couple of performance adjustments, am finding its every bit as speed as OP3 launcher with widgets able to be adjusted as I'd like.
I use Nova Prime but the main reason is the ability to change grid the way i want it and have lots of costumisation. I use Cobalt icons and look great. Have used LG G3, Zenfone 2 and now OP3, and even tried the stock launcher but Nova win all the time... For me is the best launcher in market (there are lots of other lauchers that are also great)
I use nova and use custom icon sets so I don't run into this issue

Weather & Clock Widget Disappeared

I picked up my replacement Note 7 yesterday and set it all up last night. Downloaded all my apps and set my home screen up. I use Google Now Launcher, and always have had the Weather & Clock Widget on my front screen. This worked just fine last night, and this morning after the update the widget disappeared. When I went into the widgets section, the only thing there now is just "Weather" which is a huge 5x2 widget that looks ridiculous IMO. The 5x1 Clock was so much better, and I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this when they did the OTA update this morning.
I know that this used to be common to have these widgets disappear when you download a new launcher, but the Note 5, S7 Edge, and Note 7 all worked just fine with this setup. I may have to go back to touch wiz and just put the google now widget on a screen to the left of home, but I'd love to be able to keep the now launcher.
Thank you!

I got the same issue. Hope there is a fix as I prefer the 5x1
I may go back to touchwiz for a while until/if it comes back to now launcher. The one weather widget that is available is oversized and just an eyesore.
Never mind, thought you were referring to different widget..
